Oh that awful that person is an awful person. Some people. Probably thought she was being nice to. I had people when my mother had carcinoma lung cancer, and the doctor said this was a type of surgery they could not cut out only chemo and radiation treatments. Gave her a yr. People keep telling me "oh she can have it cut out. They can cut that out of the lung." I would aways look them straight in the eye and say the doctors have said this type of cancer is a one way street and they cannot cut it out! The first time I ask my dad about it cause I thought oh they can cut it out and she won't die. But was so sad and mad when I found out that that type of cancer they can't do that. I was mad at people assume they knew my mother situation and aways acted like they knew what they where talking about. An trying to assure me. She lasted less than a yr.
It is okay if you want to be stupid but do not expose others to your stupidity and more importantly, hurt them...

Oh my god! This just reminds me of my old boss. Her father died during the pandemic and she harassed hospital staff to assure covid wasn't listed as his cause of death (it wasn't). She thinks covid is just a cold and it is a conspiracy like they are listing all people that die during the pandemic as covid being their cause of death to keep death toll numbers up to keep people scared. Should I mention she was a doctor?

I know a person who thinks covid caused very few deaths and covid is being listed as a cause of death, even if someone died in a car accident, b/c doctors are involved in some kind of scheme. They couldn't explain to me how this scheme works or how doctors are supposedly profiting from it. I always love asking people to explain their ridiculous conspiracy theories. I was still in prison when COVID started. We were kept in our units, although if no one on the unit was positive, we had free movement in the unit. Our meals, medications, and labs were brought to us. A lot of the inmates had problems with the masks, as we weren't out there to see what was happening. It took us longer to see how dangerous the virus was. Anyway, my unit's counselor, who generally did very little, called the entire unit out one afternoon. Her young, healthy friend had died of COVID. She lambasted the floor, informed us that masks were not optional, and told us what none of the staff was yet willing to. She told us about her friend, and she cried as she did. She told us anyone caught without a mask would receive an incident report (which included a punishment like losing commissary or phone). She said if she had to punish us to keep us alive, she would. I strongly disliked the counselor, but that day she earned my respect.
My mother passed from COVID. I don’t really talk about it IRL or social media because I know I’ll handle any fools like this poorly.

I drive a low slung roadster and get blinded by the cars behind me if they get too close as both side mirrors and the rear view mirror direct the headlights towards me - I can dip the rear view mirror, but the not so easy with the side mirrors.
