30 Parents Share How Their Kids Casually Dropped Some Creepy Sentences That Sent Chills Down Their Spines
Before babies learn to talk in a real language like English, they babble and coo, playing with sound. That's baby talk, something that sounds similar all over the world. But they get good fast.
Of course, it depends on the situation, but according to experts, most babies are able to say a few simple words such as "mama" and "dadda" around their first birthday. Even more, they know what they're saying! By the time they're 3, babies expand their vocabulary rapidly, and "make-believe" play spurs an understanding of symbolic and abstract language like "now," feelings like "sad," and spatial concepts like "in." They also learn how to scare the poo out of their parents.
When Dan Schreiber shared a particularly creepy thing his child told him, moms and dads quickly expanded his tweet into a strangely funny thread, full of lines and concepts you'd think exist only in horror movies. Here are some of the best!

In the woods behind my home there are three graves (there used to be an old hospital at this spot and they sometimes buried patients on the hospital grounds.) One day while out for a run I jumped the little fence surrounding the graves to check them out. According to the tombstones there were two men and a women burried there. I went home and didn't speak about my detour. But that night my then 4 year old daughter awoke from a nightmare. She dreamd two men and a women were standing in her room staring at her. It's been ten years since this incident. Fortunately she never had the dream again. And I have never gone near those graves again.
Former Editor-in-Chief turned parenting blogger, the woman who runs Motherhood: The Real Deal and 40 Now What, Talya Stone, told Bored Panda that there are a variety of ways in which parents can encourage and teach their kids to speak. "A good place to start is asking them open-ended questions and actually being present to hear out their answers," Stone said.
"Kids are notorious for clamming up and pretending like they have nothing going on in their minds, but parents can encourage them to open up by asking them who, what, where, why questions. Imagine you are a TV presenter interviewing them if that helps! Active listening really helps which is when you reflect or repeat back what your child is saying and what they may be feeling to make sure you understand - especially when they come out with oddball statements included in this article!"

So times extreme trauma, is said to carry over with your soul, to your new life. Kids,are full of pre- current life information .. little boy in the UK, remembered as past life on an island, where his family had lived. The cottage was still there, still owned by his previous family. He, as a young boy, drowned or died on the island, and he could show his parents where. They were able to contact the family and a couple of them met the boy and his family, and went into the cottage, and talked. The boy's memories were spot on, and he knew to older men's names. How cool is this?
But whether kids are giving their parents the creeps or cracking them up, people outside the family can have a difficult time understanding the little Shakespeares without a translation from mom and dad.
"I think we (the parents) get what our kids are saying because we share a deep connection — they are already a little bit of us. We also have a vested interest to understand them and be on their side, they are our kids after all. Also, parents have a very good way of humoring their children, which can seem to an outsider like we know what they are saying (when really we don't!)," Stone revealed.
Just like these pictures, Talya Stone highlighted that children say all sorts of strange things, many of which may not be true.
"Kids like to try things on when it comes to words, phrases, and ideas. So if a child says something creepy to you, try not to take it too seriously, but at the same time, it's important not to mock them and hear them out," she said.
In fact, you should not criticize their wrong words. Instead, help them say it properly — for example, if a baby points to a cat and says "Ca!" say: "Yes, it's a cat." For more tips on how to help your sweetie talk, check out this page.

That's great. please find (an other, grown up) shaman to support her. she brings a lot of potential and knowledge. it is important to take her seriously. do not be afraid, this is kind of "normal". it would be wonderful if she had someone by her side who understood her.

The same thing happened to my sister. They were traveling and went to a town she’d never been. She felt like she’d been there before and even knew where certain things were. She said that there was a cafe in this area before. She even knew the name. Now there’s a store there. They did some digging with a resident and sure enough , 50 years ago there was a coffee shop by that name over 50 years ago, it was leveled for the store. She was under 50 at that time.

My cousin used to have "people come to see him" when he was young, he was quite frightened of the experience and eventually told them to leave him alone and stop coming. They did.

For several months around age 4 or so my son was quite distressed that his little sister was lost in the forest and couldn't find us. He didn't have a little sister at the time, she was born about a year and a half later.

I think it's weird that so many people have such hard opinions on whether or not this is/can be real. We don't know... there's no way to prove one way or the other... why not just enjoy the possibilities?

People nowadays are so close minded to others beliefs or opinions that it is beyond difficult to have a civil conversation with them as there only goal is to force you to believe as they do! I respect other peoples beliefs and expect the same in regards to mine but sadly we have become a very selfish society.

Little kids just learning to talk are like monkeys at typewriters. A lot of what they say is complete gibberish, every once in a while they’ll say something that sounds very smart/creepy/funny etcetera.

Yes and no. If they haven't seen, read or heard of the plague or war, how would they be able to discuss it? I think some are true, some maybe not, but who knows??

My son has been Deaf/Mute since he was 2 years old and when he was around 8 or 9(he's 29 now)he signed and drew pictures of the 7 past life's, what and how he lived and died in each of his life's And he can still tell you about it Plus he has Spirits of Loved that he speaks to And weird little things will happen when they're around

That's quite entertaining, even though. of course, it doesn't mean that any of those kids had previous lives or something like this. Children absorb everything like a sponge - books, movies, glimpses of tv shows, pieces of conversations, and have a really vivid imagination. I remember I was telling some stories as a kid like I had two sisters and then died at the age of six, but I also remember I made those stories up.

When I was in my early teens I had a strange dream with my parents talking about a guy they knew. In the background of the dream was a noise that I can only describe as like a rubber ball bouncing in a suspended plastic drain pipe. A couple of days later I fell off my skateboard and badly broke my leg. The docotr came out to our house and I had to go to hospital but since the ambulance were busy my parents took me in our own vehicle. Because i was in a lot of pain the doctor had given me entinox to numb the pain. Right away that sound was in my head and I was finishing my parents sentences which totally freaked them out meanwhile I'm thinking nothing off it at the time, but looking back it was strange. I've never had anything like that happen to me before or since

Remember kids have eyes and ears and are able to absorb information. There are studies that say children can hear what’s going on outside whilst they are in the womb so basically even things you don’t think they’ve heard or seen they probably have and things you’ve forgotten they haven’t

My daughter always used to look at the corner of the stairs, nobody was ever there, I think she waved a couple of times too, but I really can't remember, but the stair there was damaged as if from a fall or perhaps just people jumping down them over nearly a century so knows

Reincarnation, if it's real, would be a form of Hell IMO. Going through life as it is right now and knowing what horrors are coming in the future, and instead of getting to enjoy the afterlife you're instead forced to go through another lifetime all over again into a world that's even worse than ever.

The Catholic church used to preach reincarnation but people were like if I can come back again why do I have to be a good moral person in this life so they stopped preaching it. In my opinion each life you live is to teach you lessons you need to learn to better your soul. Even Jesus was reincarnated. I firmly believe in reincarnation but I respect people enough don't and I've had some wonderful discussions with others about the topic.

I don't disbelieve these accounts. But, for me, it seems dreadful to continually live multiple lives, many of them full of sadness and suffering. Maybe we continue to get chances to finally live a life of goodness. I hope so.

My dad was watching a documentary on the pyramids and my 3 year little brother toddled into the bedroom and pointed at the tv and exclaimed Machu Picchu!! My dad startled by the yell asked him how he know what Machu Picchu was? My little brother says, "I died near there in a fire." So apparently my little brother lived in or near Peru in a past life.

Just yesterday I watched most of "Surviving Death" on Netflix. All about near-death experiences, mediums, possibility of an afterlife, etc. Two of the episodes were about young kids "remembering" past lives - the people seemed credible and some of the details the kids remember are just .... freaky.

Another thing to consider is that kids around the age of 3-4 tend to be very "experimental" with their grammar. They may be trying to communicate something about the present or past or a possibility or hope/fear but it comes out as past tense and then sounds like a past life story to someone that takes the words of preschoolers completely at face value.

When I was a baby I would "d i" repeatedly until I figured out that I could combine the two sounds to create the "di" and apparently I would pull the exorcist on people in the metro while saying "di" repeatedly. I probably got some weird looks.
