49 Illustrators Join The #DrawForEarth Challenge To Raise Awareness About Ecological Issues
We are two French illustrators @blachette and @fannylng, who on July 4, 2018, launched a challenge on Instagram with a hashtag #drawforearth. The goal of this campaign was to invite artists around the world to address environmental issues, raise public awareness, as well as sensitize people about the important topic.
Since then, more than 600 talented artists participated in the challenge, and you are welcome to join us too!

Our planet is not dying. Even if we manage to destroy all visible life on Earth (we will not), it will come back with a bang after not many millennia (nothing on the geological scale). Do you feel sad when you think about the dinosaurs? They all died in an instant... but without them disappearing, we would not be here. So when (and not if) we go, a new cycle will begin. Maybe from scratch. Maybe not. It doesn't really matter. We won't be here to see it.

Question though. For all the ships and planes that are in the ocean aren't they now seen as important because years ago I read that they're used to help grow Coral but I could be wrong.

Most people don't think (or maybe know) that cows must be kept pregnant their entire lives to give all of that milk. They are forcefully artificially inseminated and the male calves are slaughtered for veal.

On most dairy farms, calves are fed their mothers' milk, and the excess is then shipped to a processor for human consumption. After this, cows are inseminated or bred once a year, but only if their health allows. The cycle of insemination, pregnancy, parturition, and lactation is followed by a "dry" period of about two months before calving, which allows udder tissue to regenerate. This mimics the natural cycle of a cow giving birth once a year. No rancher in their right mind treats their herd like what you've tried to describe, because horrible treatment of livestock leads to bad produce. Learn your s**t.
