Summer is remarkable for many reasons, not the least of which is that it is finally sunny (or not-so-sunny)! Summer conjures up images of sun-kissed skin, backyard barbecues, camping, road trips, warm nights, long days, flowy clothes, and lots of time spent with family.

Data compiled by the Waikato District Health Board shows Tokoroa and Tirau have an E and Ed rating while Putaruru sits at Ue. E is one of the worst gradings while AA is the best. Ue means the water is ungraded with a high risk associated with supply going through the network of pipes.

My definition is a small house or cottage in a more rural setting built in a simple manner and not suitable for living in all year round. Our cabin was built by my great grandparents on a potato field (hence the large garden) using recycled materials from the war. It has practically no insulation, so it can only be used during the summer. Your cabin looks like a lovely getaway!

Beautiful dog but she really should be wearing a life jacket. Even brilliant swimmers like Retrievers can get into difficulty if she fell/jumped into the water and that would be so tragic for both of you.

It looks like they were probably far enough back. Elk aren't "safe" but they are much less dangerous than American Bison or Moose at least, and probably safer than black bear and cougars. Especially in places like Estes Park they are pretty docile but, of course they are large and strong enough to do significant harm and one should never approach a wild animal too closely even if it's just a marmot.

Please don’t rock stack (not you, anybody). It isn’t good for the environment. So many people did at at the start of the John Muir Trail (near Yosemite), that the park rangers had to step in, put up a sign asking people to refrain snd why. Please people, just enjoy nature as she is. No need to leave your mark. As a nature photographer, our motto is take only photos, leave only footprints.
