It's not real, its from a Worth1000 picture contest years ago. Never happened. And further, a plane flying that low would be picked up on the audio setup during recording, they would have stopped rolling until it was past.
Which makes me immediately distrust the rest of this entire list
Load More Replies...I call BS. The sound would've been unbearable and practically stopped filming
Knowing Joey, he may have finished those and replenished the stock with others between shots!
Or more advertisers wanted a quick product placement. Not a "mistake" at all. I'd bet all the drinks he is holding are Coke products
One iconic scene is.... In Central Perk ... Joey's coffee cup changes from blue to striped in the same scene
Salt water does wonders for buoy restoration and everything else you know... not.
There are well over a hundred continuity errors in JAWS and most took place on the Orca(s) - the interior arrangement seems to change in each shot. Wardrobes change, actors being wet and then dry then wet again. But academy award-winning film editor Verna Fields worked magic with the xxxxed up mess she was handed. She saved that movie.
The color of the barrels were the furthest thing from my mind watching this movie.
There were actually multiple barrels used so I doubt this was actually a "mistake"
In just a few months since its creation in May 2023, the “Movie Mistakes” X page has already gathered an impressive following of over 45 thousand people from around the world! It's no surprise since spotting movie blunders is entertainment in itself. Whether it's accessories or clothing mysteriously disappearing in one scene or popcorn bowls magically refilling themselves, it's all part of the fun, as long as it doesn't spoil our watching experience.

Quick meaning that nurses have booted his a*s out in no time if he was found in labor & delivery without proper identification.
Load More Replies...Setting aside the mistake for a sec, I do love that this clearly shows how men and women hold babies differently (even fake babies!) Women will hold a baby in the crook of their arm, while men hold with just a hand under the baby's head. Not complaining about the men I'm just pointing out the difference.
most girls are conditioned (at least in the US) from a early age how to hold a baby. Boys aren't. It's sad.
Load More Replies...Tbf - some nurses are like some nurse-Flash-combination. You're alone in a room, waiting to get your blood drawn, humming some tune and out of nowhere they're like "... OK. Done. The doctor will be there in two shakes of a lambs tail." :) - Uh, wth? How? When? But they already disappeared into whatever dimension they appeared out of
This was wrong on so many levels. They don't let adoptive parents just walk out with the babies. The transfer is gone outside the hospital. The twins were premature, so they would have been taken to NICU, not passed around like a holiday dip. Even if they weren't preemies, babies don't leave the hospital 2 hours after birth. And they aren't carried - they have to be strapped into carriers. There. It only took me what? 20 years to get that off my chest?
If that's the only thing you found technically wrong with Friends then you're doing ok. :-)
Load More Replies...But that's what wipers do. Wiper, no wiper. Wiper, no wiper. It's like playing peepeye with a child. If you look at the bonnet, it has a lip just in front of the windscreen that will hide the wipers when they are in their park position - my car has this for aerodynamics - to lift the blades from the screen you actually have to turn the ignition off whilst they are in motion to get them to stop on the screen.
Funnily enough I was thinking much the same thing. But on closer inspection it doesn't actually have a lip to hide them. They actually stick out all the time. So it should be visible in both.
Load More Replies...2 cars were used for The Road Warrior. One was totaled on screen and the other, as far as I know, is in a car museum in Miami, FL. Anyway, the Ford Falcon XB GT Hardtop had hood mounted wiper blades so if you don't see them, they aren't installed.
This is like watching Twister in one shot the truck has a cracked wind shield in the next one it does not it goes back and forth even after the scene is which the windshield is cracked.
the index finger is along the weapon (in french it's called "doigt sur le pontet"), above the trigger, so that it does not shoot unintentionally, by bad reflex. (finally, my ex would have been useful to me :D) Capture-65...625497.jpg
They’re all doing that. Which means that the director asked them to and it’s not a clueless actor.
It's called trigger discipline. Basically, you only put your index finger on the trigger when you want to fire. As long as you don't, you keep it slightly above, on the side.
Load More Replies...Well, this will likely prevent actors from accidentally shooting someone with a real bullet that somehow got into the gun, or firing a blank that explosively discharges a fake bullet cap into someone.
Sarcasm aside. Yep. Don’t point a gun at anyone you don’t intend to shoot. Don’t place your finger on the trigger unless you’re prepared to live with the consequences.
Load More Replies...In the world of movies, there's plenty of fun to be had, from spotting bloopers on screen to exploring exciting movie worlds. Whether you're a casual moviegoer or a big fan, there's something for everyone. Movies take us to different places, introduce us to interesting characters, and stir up all sorts of feelings. Whether it's thrilling action scenes, deep dramas, or hilarious comedies, movies let us forget our everyday worries and enjoy the creative ideas of storytellers.
They always do this... more so in TV shows and cartoons but it bugs me. Kid has pie all over face and hair is all effed up then the next scene they are completely clean and normal again. Usually in movies though they do try to make better attempts at continuity...not here obviously
I wonder if they've been over-aggressive with the colour correction. It almost looks like there is a shadow where the sweat stain would be. So it's possible they filtered the scene and it's made the stain disappear. If you noticed the logo on his chest it's a way brighter colour than in the first shot too.
Load More Replies...Oh my, I forgot how cute he was. All the girls back then had a crush on him.
Let us shift our focus to the broader cinematic landscape and explore how movies have transformed over time, reflecting shifts in technology, culture, and audience desires. Bored Panda contacted Dr. Michael W. Boyce, a professor of English and Film Studies at Booth University College in Winnipeg, Canada and a host of a podcast about fans and fan cultures “Geek 4” to learn more about movie trends.
We asked Boyce whether there are any significant trends or patterns in the movies that are popular with audiences today and how these trends have evolved over time. He shared that for the last decade or so, the predominant trend in cinema has been towards large franchise movies, like the Marvel and DC films. “They have a built-in audience, and, by sharing characters across titles (like Doctor Strange in Spider-man: No Way Home (2021), studios ‘direct’ audiences to come along for multiple films. People think they have to see all the films in a particular franchise because of shared characters and stories.”
looks the same... coincidence ... ? edit : at first, it was a joke, but the more I look at them, the more identical they are... another fake photo ?

Some of the westerns from the 1940s and 1950s are rich with things like this. Cowboys wearing wristwatches, cars moving in the far background, that sort of thing.
And, we forgave them for this, in the interests of entertainment!
Load More Replies...Let's not forget to mention that he's installing a suppressor on a non-threaded barrel.
He loaded it into that tie-shooting gun that Q came up with. Never caught on with the agents.
I may be no mistake. Maybe tie disappear in colseup to better show the gun and silencer.
According to Boyce, the trend to create interconnected cinematic universes has become increasingly dominant and has been incredibly successful for studios. “But because of how expensive these films are to make, there has been a drastic decline in mid-priced films and fewer movies from genres like romantic comedies and dramas. Similarly, there are fewer original stories being produced and studios continue to prioritize sequels, remakes, and ‘reimaginings’ (like The Batman) of known movies. I don't see this changing,” the professor and podcast host noted.
They could do a whole post on "Cars that magically repair themselves during a movie". There are literally dozens, probably hundreds of scenes where cars ram each other or do a jump and practically bend in half on landing, then the next scene they're perfect. Hell you could probably do a whole post just on cars in the Fast & the Furious movies :P
I'd consider things even if Chris had run up on stage and slapped Will when he got his Oscar.
Load More Replies...This one gets me. How can you not remember which eye they spent 40 minutes on yesterday?
Shots are often flipped as John Harrison has pointed out. I've even seen signs flipped and not noticed in TV/film.
Load More Replies...Doesn't he swell up on both sides? Idk it's been a while but I do like that movie.
Even as movies undergo a constant transformation, one thing remains consistent: the presence of movie mistakes or blunders. While some may find these slip-ups entertaining and enjoy the challenge of spotting them or nitpicking, others may simply view them as quirks of the cinematic experience. These errors add an interactive and playful dimension to our movie-watching experience, reminding us that, despite the thoroughly crafted worlds on screen, movies are ultimately a product of human creativity, and a touch of imperfection can make them all the more endearing.
Not me, I adjust my opponent's clothing. Really puts them off-balance.

Try the book, I read it when I was younger and it’s even creepier than the movie!
Load More Replies...This looks like a front and back seat shot. The sunroof doesn't extend to back seat, does it?
Picture 1 show him with the rear side window of the car and picture 2 shows him with his hand on the ceiling/roof of the car. How is that a mistake?
Considering the other things they got wrong, this is pretty minor!
At least the ship sank. I was worried about a Hollywood based ona true story ending
Load More Replies...Maybe it's that way to distract from the Leonardo Double in the second shot.
There are a couple of other differences in the car. The hood ornament is gone, and the model name is missing from the front of the hood.
The whole car is different. The top pic has a badge one the front, it's missing from the bottom pic.
I feel like someone would notice oh s**t she’s wearing the other glove
The Wizard of Oz is notorious for continuity errors. Have a look at the scene where Dorothy meets the scarecrow for the first time. Her hair changes back and forth between long and short. Apparently she had to come back to reshoot parts of that scene hence the difference in hair length
How 'bout that frame where everyone was saying a person was hung in the background.
I remember the scarecrow was also simultaneously untying the rope & telling it not to go! I always thought that was weird as a kid.
Kids were literally performing telepathy in this scene. They could have done something.
No, a dejavu is, when you see something that happens a second time exactly like the first time around and THAT is a sign that the matrix has been altered.
Load More Replies...Lots of strange things happen in the matrix, how could you tell if anything is a mistake.
Making these complaints about that film is kind of silly. It's the matrix! Of course things disappear, suddenly look different or where moved.
Yeah, it's just about impossible to know whether something weird is a mistake or a deliberate decision. Bit like some of the Nolan movies - Inception, Memento. Are there really mistakes or are they subtle indications that reality isn't real?
Load More Replies...My assumption is that the Matrix is based on Bethesda's "Creation Engine" - mistakes are to be expected!
Perfectly normal, server culls excess objects to render scene efficiently.
I mean, he was a nerve wreck at this point in the movie.
Load More Replies...He was great. I really loved him in Corrina Corrina, he was actually great as a love interest, didn't always have to play 'hard' characters all the time.
Load More Replies...Her acting REALLY bugged me a 1000 times more once she became a vampire
I actually noticed this one while watching the movie. It really bugged me!
That first movie was horribly filmed. The shots were weird, the angles where screwy, and her acting was off. I remember thinking this felt like a college project, not the blockbuster it was. The scene in the post picture, when Bella first woke up and looked at the mom, that was bad camera work. I have to think the director wanted that as no cameraman worth his salt should use that lens combo. It made the mom look distorted.
Kristen mentioned that the tubes kept slipping during filming.
Not sure whether this one is down to lighting or grading in edit. Seems too basic for a continuity specialist to miss.
Considering Scary Movie was a parody too it's possible they did it deliberately. Although, I'd expect them to be less subtle about a costume change.
Load More Replies...Just me or does the top picture look like it's a CGI kid and not a real person??
Have you ever noticed how often her hair changes length in this movie? Long, short, long, really short ...
I like the one in twister, the scene where they drive through the house
Clearly mind powers caused by all the amphetamines they pumped through Judy Garland to make this move.
Ehh, less of a mistake, more of a blooper that they intentionally decided to keep in the movie.
I wonder if this one is meant humorously. It is in fact a mistake in a movie, but it's the character's mistake.
Load More Replies...It wasn’t in the script, but Chris Pratt accidentally dropped the ball and caught it again and they kept it in the film. It was a mistake made whilst filming but it wasn’t an continuity mistake like the others on this list.
Load More Replies...People must watch movies frame by frame. I’d never notice any of these watching normally 😊
When you watch a movie enough times, you start to notice these things. Others are just plan obvious.
Load More Replies...All of these are not "movie mistakes" per se, they are continuity errors. A "movie mistake" could also be a plot hole or historical/canon inaccuracies.
I agree. It bugs me that it's literally someone's job to ensure continuity
Load More Replies...Hitchcock said if people notice this kind of things it means that the movie is not entertaining enough!
Huge mistakes ? 99.9999999999999999 % of people never noticed so who gives a f**k?
I stopped reading after like 4 out of the first 5 entries for "HUGE" mistakes were simple continuity errors.
Man ! All I want to know is, where do people get the time to watch movies so meticulously. I`ve seen most of these movies/shows, never noticed anything. ...guess I am the target audience :D
The movie back to the future was not on this list because it was perfect
