Lovely Bunk Bed
Me too! I wonder if they make them an adult size...asking for a...friend.
Load More Replies...Lovely design, but it seems a nightmare to change the sheets and make the beds...
I thought that too. Unless they use a mat they can roll up to remove and change the cover.
Load More Replies...Buildings And Stars Cut Into Blackout Curtains!
I don’t think they are supposed to function as blackout blinds, they’re just made from them.
Load More Replies...blackout curtains are the material, not the end product
Load More Replies...Folding Loft Stairs With Access To Washing Machine
Come downstairs and smash to the floor because your roommate is doing laundry and forgot to put the stairs down
It could be improved... Make a railing attached to it, with the upper one being a horizontal bar when the stairs are up. With that bar you can lower them all to. Wished I could print images from head, easier than a vague incomplete description.
Load More Replies...What makes modern interior design look good depends on whom you ask. There’s a lot of artistic choices involved and we all know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So what might look incredibly stylish and minimalistic to one person might look bleak and dreary to someone else. Nonetheless, beauty isn’t completely subjective and there are certain things that make contemporary design look good.
According to San Francisco Design, modern designs are all about “emphasizing a few key pieces without overwhelming the space.”
Less. Is. More.
Keep. It. Simple.
Don’t. Overdo. It.

Creative Cutlery Drainer By Peleg Design
I think if you use one of those straw brushes it would be easier
Load More Replies...Exactly, the container doesn't fully drain, and you get a build-up of stale water over time. Interesting idea, absolutely terrible execution.
Load More Replies...so glad they added the diagram. i just couldn't figure it out on my own by looking at the actual item
If not for the diagram I would not know how the water came out....
How long before that snout fills with living funk that can't be easily cleaned out? I think I'll stick with the dish rack.
The San Francisco Design team explains that modernism goes incredibly well with minimalism. So when you’re picking out furniture and other design pieces, try to focus on simplistic and functional things.
“Modern style incorporates bold and rigidly structured design in a captivating way. In your home, focus on bold, sharp edges to add the angular structures that are so characteristic of modern design,” they explain, suggesting that we also look at edges and angles and how they fit in with the entire space.
Meanwhile, when it comes to modern materials, you should aim for those that give off a clean and straightforward energy. Stainless steel, muted metal, and glass are materials that can modernize your home and make you look like a real interior design expert. And don’t forget about wood!
Cabin In The Woods By Jay Lalka
More like how at zoos people look at animals. Here we welcome u to the human zoo
Load More Replies...I love the forest design! From the pretty grey cloud bed ☁️, the leafy plants 🌱, the reindeer and bird furniture 🐦 🦌 and the wood 🌲!
Bunk Bed Inspiration
I really like this design, the privacy it affords could've saved my siblings and I from numerous arguments over personal space.
Yes WAY better than putting a line of tape down the middle of the room like my sister and I used to do!
Load More Replies...Well, this would have prevented my sister from spitting on my face while I slept.
Thy have it's just that u would still require more room so there is enough space for other things on either side. Not usual for a room with bunk beds
Load More Replies...And imagine the wall was thicker so you could fit in a shelf for books and stuff! 🤩
Circular Flower Stand By Zhi Lian
Or, as my cats would see it: cat step, cat step, cat step, cat step, hanging cat toys.
The Dog House Sofa By Seungji Mun
Cats'would leave the doghouse for the humans and take the couch for themselves.
I think the dogs would just creep out of their cubby hole into their owners laps, where they’d much rather be.
Load More Replies...Cats would absolutely love this, especially if the side was mostly closed off, too.
Cozy Balcony
though I love this, my first concern is that is there no such thing as a heavy rain where this home is? the carpet and pillows are going to get wet in the rainy season.
Yeah that is Beautiful, But I would be worried about the weather to nice just to dog out.
Imagine watching a New Year’s Eve fireworks display or reading a book
Indoor Wood Slide / Staircase By Archology
Cozy Place With Green Fresh View!
Only thing it is missing is a bookshelf and a cat. This would be perfect.
How do the plants get watered? They have to be hooked and taken down? That a lot of weight on a long pole. Is there equipment for this sort of thing?
Nearly cool but the sofas and chairs let it down. Also who is the matt under the sofa?
Northern Lights Ranch In Lapland, Finland
looks cold needs a touch of cream colours in there then would be great to give it the warm cosy feeling.
Beautiful Bathroom Design!
Yeah that’s cool, but I’m not sure how I would feel being exposed to the cold winds. 😜
Must be fun cleaning leaves and bugs out of the tub before each use.
This is very Bali style outdoor showers are big there but no fun in rain season
i hope the doors slide open and not open outwards, cause you might hit someone in the tub.
Charging Drawer By Rev-A-Shelf
Not so safe to charge device in a closed drawer. I do not recommend this at all. Fire hazard here.
If your devices get that hot while charging they're not safe anywhere.
Load More Replies...It would take discipline to keep a whole drawer mostly empty most of the time.
That's giving up some much-needed storage space for things that don't need to be stored.
Clearly for large kitchens w/o the need to use every single drawer for all the things! 🤣
Treasure Mug By White Rabbit Express
I don't grt that, either. Maybe cos they look a little ' buried'?
Load More Replies...Luna Mirror
That's pretty simple to make, as it looks. I think you could work a bit on the edge, maby use a stencil or something so you don't get smudges. An really nice idea.
Oh for sure!! You totally would have done a better job !! Only you didn't think of it !!!

Amazing Bunk Bed
Bottom bunk has well decorated spacious homey feeling - top should look like the bottom (except for outer shelves).
I think it's a guest bed solution, for sleep overs or tiny houses as it's also smaller than the bottom.
Load More Replies...I would think that a ladder is better? Knowing how I was when I was younger I would slip down those small stairs after trying to run up them too fast and roll all the way down. Actually probably I wouldn’t even use them at all going down probably just jump onto my sleeping sibling in the lower bunk
An upvote for you SirPatTheCat! I don’t know why you were downvoted.
Load More Replies...it need more love in the design need a big spider plant hanging over the top bed shelf .with some fairy lights
Custom Made Wrapping Barn Door
A nice idea for another place perhaps. But it neither blends in nicely or seems necessary in this place...
Agree it doesn't blend in nicely but it is useful to stop noise from leaving the space... into the stairwell and upstairs.
Load More Replies...I love sliding doors. they use less space since they can just be built to slide into the walls, and easier to use in my opinion. they were very common in Japan homes but not too much in anywhere else especially in my country.
Shoji screens. There room that had the screens usually has a tatami floor. And NO SHOES!
Load More Replies...I love it, but how would you keep floor debris out of the track? It would impede use.
This is where the vacuum cleaner comes in handy ;-)
Load More Replies...this is one of those things i would say no one in this position actually needs at all. the door itself i mean, why do you need a door on a staircase.

Sink Design With Drying Area
I don't think the ridges need to be rounded since I have little (and see very little) problems with cleaning outer edges/corners. The grooves with their inner edges on the other hand, those I would make more rounded.
Load More Replies...First saw this design 60 yrs ago in my grandmothers kitchen. It was called a Manchester sink and drainer
Not modern. Most sinks use to be made this way, then in the 60's and 70s it went away. My husband keeps looking for homes with original sink boards and counters from the 30's and 40's for this feature.

Five Wire Bottle Bud Vases By Kirklands
Staircase Designed By Ander Alencar
You won't have to, because after you broke your neck falling down those stairs, you'll be past such workly concerns.
Load More Replies...Very cool but this won't pass inspection in many places. A handrail is required.
That might well depend on which country you live in.
Load More Replies...This is art, not architecture. Look at those upper stairs, see there's no rail, see the edge of the stair has that slope. Now imagine accidentally stepping a little too close to that radius and tumbling over and onto the stairs below. Yep. A cool photo is the only thing these are good for.
Visually appealing, practical nightmare. Even a steady sober person would fall and break something if they put a foot wrong, nevermind a young, elderly, or disabled person. Coupled with the lack of handrails this is very pretty garbage. (Although that being said, I suddenly want to see what it would look like as a spiral staircase.)
I would change the rocks out for carpet and make it a little reading space for kids with a beanbag or saucer chair :)
No handrail and one false step toward the middle and you go flailing.
I've seen photos of this before, and it's a virtuoso piece of design. It takes up very little space in the house, too. However precision bending the wood and installing it are so expensive that I suspect that this is the first and only time it will actually be built.
Rotating TV Panel By Holzk Móveis
And custom sized to fit one tv. If you get a new tv you have to remodel.
looks ugly .needs a freshers look and a new concept for location.if the room was white or a cream colour it would look a lot better.
The Ideal Working From Home Piece? Caramella Counter Sofa
I like photos of space saving furniture that are taking in a huge, empty room.
Yuck! I would never want my books to be at my feet. They r my precious
it's ok but too many corner you can hurt yourself with it ,not good for children ,it needs to be rounder and more padding.

Setenil De Las Bodegas / Spain
We stayed here in 2019! There was an Airbnb apartment on the second floor right under this rock. We flipped out when we arrived and realized how magical it was. Technically, it's not a rock but rather the underside of the cliff, which creates a shallow but lengthy cave. We loved Setenil de la Bodega, a town that is bustling with day visitors who make a 20-minute stop on guided bus tours. At night, the place is serene and atmospheric.
Yeah, I'm not getting the best vibes for a carefree life either
Load More Replies...Piano Shelf
Now I know what to do with the "free baby grand pianos" I see on Craigslist!
If you try something like this, be careful. Striping a piano down can be dangerous. Pianos have pieces that are under extreme tension because of the wires. Consult a piano repair person and tell them what you intend to do. Best if they did it.
Load More Replies...I hope a perfectly good piano wasn't destroyed for this, but if it's recycled, than that's super cool :)
nice how everybody is concerned with the piano health before that :)))

Cactus Toilet Brush By Qualy Design
This is terrible design. While it's cute, it's completely impractical... The brush goes into the toilet quite deep, so the top of the lid there will also get nasty, so defeats the point really...
I didn't even notice that. Depending on the depth of the toilet, you might not even be able to use it where it counts.

I wonder where the door leads to that's on the end of the kitchen island? Wouldn't that be fun if it was a passage to another room in the house?
Taken it a step too far. The the painted concrete worktop is a bit brutal and you'd forever be picking light shade out of your salad. I really like those bar stools though. I keep expecting a Mexican dwarf to pop out of that little door.
What’s the door for? I would make it a dog house, like put beds in and toys and treats
I'd like to see what it looks like when they get around to finishing the ceiling ;)
Safe Space Bed By Diana Zhelnio
Safe? What would stop anyone from falling right off the loft bed?
Load More Replies...Is this meant for two siblings? Or two couples? Who is the target group here?
Nothing to stop you from falling off the end of the top bed. Not so safe, really.
This is dark and awful. The mattress on the floor would be hell to get in and out of, not to mention very uncomfortable.
Leya Swing Seatby Freifrau
Finally, after seeing a lot of 'price on request' from freifrau.com/en , I managed to find out that (at least within Germany) shipping is free, or should I say included in the 1.698,00 € that the leather version will cost you. During the summer, I got myself a very simple cotton cloth swing chair from Oriflame for €11.99!

Yup... They could have a small glass panel at the end of that slope... Just to stop things from falling down... Maybe that would help it??

Looks like they use different species for each type of piece, so just memorization. The species selected for each type looks to have a somewhat relatable look to it, well maybe not the horse but it would be the "odd one out" then.
Load More Replies...Both! Any kind of succulent or low maintenance plant has become super popular, especially in a lot of minimalist spaces because in general they're pretty contained- and hard to kill. As they showed up in a lot of design images (and Instagram images) they became even more popular and fashionable. They've really been having a moment for a while now. I myself am more of a lemon tree girl.
Load More Replies...Hammock Bathtub By Splinter Works
The water would get cold in a millisecond. Built in Japanese soaking tubs are better. They're deep enough to sit in with a tiny footprint, and since they're built in, you can insulate them so the water stays hot as long as you want it to.
Mmm, I've never seen one in a house. Even a hotel and a cabin had an above ground. Only bathhouses and 1 hotel.

So you are supposed to to climb that ladder with a full water can several times a week to water your plants?
Reaching the plants by climbing a ladder with hands full of watering can will be pain in the a**.
Move plants down to floor level and put a reading nook up top... a chaise longue would fit nicely. Or even large bean bags.
Climbing the ladder with pails of water, then crouching down.
Amazing Home
I like the shelf for showing off your fancy wine. It will quickly destroy it (light + temperature fluctuations) so you're basically showing off you're don't care for wine, and have more money than sense.
I don't think the wine is stored there long-term... the one bottle on the left has a stopper in.
Load More Replies...but guys, here's watcha gotta do: you do the classic switcheroo: open the bottles, pour the nice wine into cheap bottles and vise versa. then ya got your s**t wine out looking all fancy as hell, and you can keep your " 8 dollar bottle" to yourself. Nope. Whoever designed this has never cleaned anything in their entire lives.
My goodness, reading just the first comment on most of these pictures just sound soo negative - 'why doesn't it do this, do that, that can't be comfortable? ' blah blah blah... Just enjoy them for what they are 🙄
Agreed. Some of these weren't for me, but I understand and appreciate the "art" in them. Most of the comments made me think that 1) people are afraid of colour and texture and 2) there are a lot of negative people out there.
Load More Replies...Right? I thought, “what would it be like to afford that...”
Load More Replies...Most of these were impractical, high maintenance or something you'd get tired of quickly. Having said that I really enjoyed them. I imagine they were done to showcase the designers talent.
There are many of these stunning designs that are designs only. They are the 'renderings' or 'visualizations' of computer graphics artists or 3D artists and I wonder how many people realized that they were NOT seeing a photo of something that actually exists.
I figured about half ot be "shopped" somehow, but still, fun to look at.
