Grew up in a hamlet (which is smaller than a village) next to a farm in the UK. Being stuck behind a tractor was the norm.

I live a small town. This is quite true.

Getting stuck behind the tractor is a normal day. I end up really late when stuck behind the Amish horse & buggy. The roads are rarely wide enough to pass :/

The irony to me today on this is that it happened this morning, and last month one of the tractors broke down in the road (according to the farmer he was doing his tests before his season began). Normally you just drive around, but my road is either 5 minutes from work, or the other way is a 45 minute detour....it was faster to wait for the 20 minutes to move the machine out of the way.

In PA, it's getting stuck behind a horse and buggy.

Uncle Willie (serious as a heart attack, that was his name), used to do this in my hometown. He even passed out on the horse a couple times and the horse would took him home or to our house...how he never got a DUI (because you can), idk. This was in Porterville, CA late 80s- early90s ...
