Did you know that it's Halloween today? We here at Bored Panda certainly do, we've done everything from vintage to couple's costumes, babies, one-legged guys and pregnant women too.
Of course, there is always room for more so here is a list of some kids dressed up in their coolest costumes. These lucky boys and girls have got some seriously dedicated and creative parents on their side, and were sure to have attracted plenty of candy on their trick or treats! Perhaps you can find some last-minute inspiration here if your young-un still hasn't made their choice?

We just recently went to the Gatlinburg Aquarium and learned that they kind of swim/crawl on each other and hitch rides. And the males are smaller. Also, kids are way less scared of touching them than I am. A sweet little girl helped me get courage to touch one and then the jelly fish.

They see it everywhere. They may not even know exactly who it is. My son is 7 and calls it the creepy It Clown and he is in love with it. Neither of my boys have seen the movies but they hear about it. My 7year old loves Halloween and being scary. He ended up being a creepy jester that he called "Jeff the Killer" and carried a red balloon and a knife for the sole purpose of creeping people out and scaring them. Next year he plans on being the It Clown. Some kids are just very weird with their view on being creepy for Halloween. My son is the black sheep of our family for Halloween. Lol.

I hated SpongeBob as a kid. My go to movies were horror films. Alien, Species, I would fall asleep to Jurassic Park. My favorite movie to watch was actually The Mummy. I went as a vampire, zombie cheerleader, zombie bride, a witch, a princess bitten by a vampire (my mom) for Halloween when I was a kid.

Yeah he'd be admitted back to hospital after about an hour or so out. They try not to take the fun things away from kids after surgery. Little guy would have been well-medicated for pain while out.

Many truly great costumes and many enthusiastic and hard wokring parents behind them. But I truly love the kids that want to dress up as something totally mundane, like a salad or a road or a fart. those really make me laugh.

I purchased a simple lion costume for my son's first Halloween. He refused to wear it and went out wearing his normal clothing. When asked what he was, he said, in a no nonsense, don't mess with me voice, "I am two !" Nobody questioned him.

These are all well executed, but for too many it seems like the parent are making the kids dress up in costumes only relevant to the parents. No 4 year old should know or appreciate Game of Thrones Characters. Or Stranger Things. Some of these feel a little too much like its done to boost the parent's Social Media presence and not to make a child happy.

You'd be amazed how many things small kids pick up. And even though they don't watch the show can be totally obsessed with a poster or other image from it. I mean there is so much material out there with Jon Snow that looks very cool.

These costumes are great. Many are handmade and way better than the costumes worn by the celebrities at a fraction of the price.

First, The kids dressed up as horror movie figures probably haven't seen the movies. The fun is making a cool costume to trick or treat with the parents. Second, people are missing the point. Halloween, like numerous children's tales full of blood and murder, don't teach kids about monsters. For children, the world and especially the night is full of scary monsters as it is. They teach them monsters can be confronted and defeated.
