Mosaic Carpet Created By Artist Kelly Graham Using 7500 Cents
I’ve repeatedly tried to do mosaics, but my brain apparently doesn’t work right that I can. The ones who especially blow me away are the people who make images out of photographs. They size ‘em like pixels and make insanely detailed images. I’m afraid my brain is merely a lump of fat with no crazy talent in it, dammit. 😕 I can play any song I hear on the mandolin, balalaika, banjo, fiddle, etc (pretty much any stringed instrument in front of me), but it’s not particularly useful. These people MAKE things!

I Present My Balookelele
When I was nine, I came out of my bedroom and announced to my mom that I’d broken my G-string and needed her to take me to the store. Eyebrows shot up and my mom looked ANGRY. I just wanted to go to the music store. She beat me silly after the guests left because a nine-year-old doesnt know that “G-string” has another meaning. Thanks, Ma. (My little sister was never beaten, not even when as a toddler, she “played” a bloody Tampax tube from the wastebasket like a trombone! 😆)
