I don't understand why people can't just take them to an animal shelter

I adopted my BEAUTIFUL and intelligent (totally not being biased) German Shepard, and he was thrown out on the street (we don’t know who) and we were so confused as to why someone would throw a baby (3 mo dog) out.

sometimes my sister leaves her dog outside because she has to vaccum,sweep,dust,or doing homework (shes in collage) she feels guilty the entire time and if she sees lilly and shes hungry cold hot or thirsty she lets her back in people that leave animals outside for no reason are morons and i agree they should be punished my sister always tries to make sure her dog isnt hurt though and leaves out food and water next to her doghouse so she has a shelter food and water and the doghouse has a blanket in it and its big enough to fit me dogs are just like mute children and should be treated like a child so i agree with you their animals should go to a better place

So right you are, they should suffer, but the laws need to be tougher, some are not discovered, if people see this I hope they will report it !!!

I thought it was artistic representation of buying & selling exotic pets, myself. Unfortunately, I looked it up and plastic keychains were actually made with live animals inside that would survive for a few days. Sickening.

Agreed! It's a beautiful art piece, but I can't support it being made from genuine elephant Ivory. Plastic or maybe ceramics would be better.

Honestly I think porcelain or marble would be a prettier option than pure ivory especially if it means not killing an innocent elephant.

The wanting of ivory is just part of the problem, it's also some people who believe they contain a medicinal purpose !!!

There are synthetic alternatives extremely similar to ivory ("ivory touch", "Tusq", "Elforyne"), which are mostly used for musical instruments. Also, a huge source for ivory in expensive instrument building and repairs are fossile mammouth tusks, as they do not fall under species conservation conventions. Neither is usually found in art, though.

Ikr! If you absolutely MUST have ivory, at least try to take it from a dead one.

De-tusking them sometimes really work. There are also projects who mark elephants with special paint to taint the ivory, so it becomes worthless to poachers.

Sad that there even are poachers. If there was no demand, they wouldn't be doing this. I guess it's "fashionable" to some people to have these kind of "trophy's" in their home.

It's a hermit crab so it's not stuck in the bottle but using it as a home before switching it to something else. I think this is a commentary on how littered with trash the beaches are and the crab isn't able to find an actual sea shell to have as a home, but has to use garbage that's sometimes unsafe (like metal cans with sharp edges)

Yes, the last male white rhino ON EARTH died in 2018. Not in the wild or in a sanctuary. It’s the last one in the world. Only two females are still alive to this day, but sadly, without a male, the white rhino entirely will be extinct. I love nature, and it breaks my heart to know that PEOPLE, just like me, PEOPLE did this. It’s very sad.

Lina is correct. There are two females still alive but they are most likely too old to have children, even if they could be artificially inseminated. I don't think many people realize how many animals have give extinct or go extinct every day.

You are incorrect. Many of the dogs that you see at shows enjoy it, and you can tell by the way they carry themselves. Unhappy or scared dogs do not present well in the ring, and no amount of coercing can make them fake it. If a dog doesn't like it, they will most certainly let you know. As for this ridiculous idea that all purebred dogs are inbred or have problems, it's just more AR propaganda. Responsible and reputable breeders (especially ones that are showing and titling their dogs) invest THOUSANDS into health testing, carefully research pedigrees, and do their due diligence into preserving the breed and it's standard. Yes, there are s****y BYB people out there, but they do not represent everyone. The purpose of showing, beyond showcasing what a kennel produces, is to have fun for both the handler AND the dog. My suggestion is that instead of just assuming that you actually go to a show, speak to the handlers, meet the dogs, and learn it first-hand.

That’s not 100 percent true, of course there are demons like this, but a lot of people who have there dog preform in dog shows genuinely care about there animals and get reworded
