I had that happen, our flight from Chicago was cancelled due to a storm, so we stayed in a hotel and got pizza. The next day, I took the leftovers with me and ate them on the plane, when we were going through customs, the dog was sniffing the bag that the pizza had been in. I told the officer that I had pizza in it, but had eaten it, and showed her the bag, and it was all good.
