Really? Whilst the animals that come to you are euthanised because their humans live them and don't want them to suffer, the vast majority of animals are euthanised because they are unwanted. I have never been able to understand why people run this argument when it is actually an argument against euthanasia if you think about it.

It's only legal if you physically have it with you. That means you have to carry it at all times. I have seen people tattoo do not resuscitate on their chest but that is not legally binding.

but there is not : people take for granted that ; if the parents are the biological parents they are good and wellmeaning parents :( I wish I had good parents instead of biological parents¤ being a parent if as eas as having sex it doesn't require a permit --at least to make sure they would not abuse their children EVEN if they are the biological parents !

This should be about philosophy and the way you raise them, not just about money, because that's a good way of breeding out those in lower socioeconomics classes, which are overwhelmingly POC. Poor people can be amazing parents and those with money who just hire nannies and never actually give their kids the parental guidance they need often create psychopaths and sociopaths. With over population being an issue, there should be a limit to the number of kids any one family can birth; if you want more kids than just 2, you can adopt

I can't believe people are downvoting you. You are so right. People think kids need everything brand new. Extracurricular sports can be done through the school, and, yeah, that may come with added expense, but the savings from not spending crazy on the other luxuries can go towards those other costs. Or just enroll them in something from the Leisure Guide. Unless your kid wants to get into an activity for the long haul, and they are serious about it, there's absolutely no point in spending hundreds or thousands on gear and equipment if they're just in it for fun or trying it out but will quit. Canada has free optometry for kids, and there's budget glasses you may be able to get through insurance. Special needs kids, well that depends on the needs of the child but most of it is either covered under provincial health care or the parents can get a credit come tax time, or it can be covered under the parent's insurance plan. I understand it may be different in other countries, though.

Children need much more than that. That's the basics. But you also need to pay for their education, books, etc. If they need extra classes, or if they have a gift for art, sports, music, etc, you should be able to afford the equipment and classes to develop and support their skills. If a kid has special needs, even the simplest, such as glasses or dental brackets you must be able to pay for it. In Spain the simplest, cheapest brackets cost over 4.000€; that's over four months of salary. God help you if your kid has a chronic illness, or is born with a serious disability and they need a phisiotherapist, or a speech therapist, or an adapted wheelchair, and you also need to adapt the house.

That's funny because vaccinated people are more likely to have an asymptomatic form and therefore spread it to people who might die from it.

If the vaccine were so good, you shouldn't worry so much about others. Once you get your vaccine you should be protected. In my country over 90% of the people over the age of 12 has the vaccine, and people are still catching the disease and collapsing the emergencies. They promised us that when 70% of the citizens had got the vaccine everything would be normal again. Well, most of us got the vaccine and we are still full of restrictions and stupid controls. I got the two doses, but I won't went any more for a while. After a year maybe, but certainly not every few months, without serious research on the long term effects. In my country the hospitals collapse every single winter, so the chaos is not the antivaxxers' fault. Antivaxxers' are idiots, but so are people who can't analyse a complex situation without repeating slogans like sheep.

So you shouldn't get a bed if you have a car accident and it's your fault, or if you do something dangerous and you hurt yourself, and you shouldn't be operated on if you eat red meat every day and you get colon cancer or if you smoke and you get lung cancer. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Why? You obviously have no faith in modern medicine, why should you be entitled to care by the same? Go to a faith healer, a herbalist or light up your essential oils diffuser, inject some bleach and pop a couple of Ivermectin. Don't waste doctors time saving your luddite ass.

I have to disagree. Why stoop to their level? I read a great quote once that basically said (not word for word) If I don't like / agree with you, I may not give you a seat at my table. But I still want you to eat. In other words if someone's opinion doesn't line up with yours, why do you NOT owe them respect? By not respecting them you are stooping to their level and they love that. Kill em with kindness or ignore them.

No because being nasty only breeds more and more nasty, which only validates the people you just described. I am not saying you should invite those people over for dinner but attacking people does nothing but breed more hate.

Just saying if you got coffee with a burnt flavor then your barista burned it and you shouldn't have paid for it you should have got a replacement
