30 Celebrities Who Are Actually Wholesome And Are Not Just Faking It For The Press
Being an actor or entertainer means that you’re almost always in the spotlight. With so much attention on you all the time, there’s bound to be tons of pressure. Not only to perform well but also to treat all of your fans the way they expect you to.
There will always be stars who behave one way in public but are completely different in private. However, other celebrities are just as wholesome, friendly, and respectful as they appear to be. Reddit user u/dontwrryboutme invited fans to open up about the celebs that they know really aren’t faking it for the press. Check out what they had to say below—you might even find your own beloved stars in the list.
Bored Panda reached out to social psychologist Alison Jane Martingano, Ph.D., who shed some light on why it is that celebrities play such large roles in some people's lives and why fans tend to value authenticity so much. Martingano is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and the host of the 'What Do You Mean?' blog on Psychology Today. Read on to see what she told us.

An old co worker was a limo driver for many years in our city. He drove lots of celebs, especially musicians coming to town. He said in all that time meeting all those celebs, they NEVER speak to you. Dolly Parton however, wants to know everything about him and on the ride back to the hotel after her show she picks up the conversation where they left off and remembers what he had talked about. He was gobsmacked. He said he hadn't been a fan but he became one after that.
also has given millions, quietly, to programs fostering literacy, research during covid, etc. She's a saint
I'm not a fan of her music, but I'm a huge fan of the person. Dolly is good to the core. She has given, and continues to give so many people a helping hand. She is one very, very impressive woman.
Load More Replies...I have heard so many amazing stories about her. She is so incredible and we need more people like her in the world
This pic is from Dolly's induction into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. Seen here with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics on the left and Rob Halford of Judas Priest on the right. Glorious :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i19-1xc71Y8
It's fitting to have a saint at the right hand of the Metal God 😄
Load More Replies...I'm from Knoxville, TN and we think Dolly is the best thing since sliced bread.
I met her in 1994 when I was a department manager for Target. I think she was promoting a book? Anyway, she was SO kind and personable with all of us. She would stand and have conversations with anyone who wanted to talk to her. I was 24 at the time. Now every celebrity that I meet I hold to the Dolly Parton standard. VERY FEW have even come close to her! I would have to say the one that comes the closest would be Bailee Madison (Bridge To Terabithia, Strangers-Prey at Night).
Keanu reeves, always seemed so genuine especially when you find some of the things he does under the radar because he doesn't want recognition
stealthknights added:
I can personally confirm this one. It's a small world and one of my good friends happens to be his dog walker whenever he is staying here in NY. I sometimes accompany him on dog walks when we hang out to spend time as he works, and he's a really cool down to earth guy, super friendly and very kind.
He's another one that does good deeds just for the sake of doing something good, not for the recognition.
I love that he has a relationship with a woman close to his own age.
I've added "that's very Keanu of you" to my vernacular as a compliment, because of all he represents.
I used to live near him in the Hollywood Hills. He was young but already a big star in a place where that mattered a LOT. We at the same coffee shop. On Saturday mornings, he'd put his name in the list like everybody else. No judgments, but he wore this one shearling coat in all weather. Zero attitude on the man. So glad he's kept that up.
Jason Momoa. I met him in an elevator at a con while I was in a wheelchair. He *insisted* on wheeling me in, wheeling me back out (even though my floor wasn't his), and taking a picture with me. He was very sweet and very funny. I've met several people since who have met him, and they all say nothing but great things about the guy.
Skimmdit adeed:
Guy I used to work with, 'K', was a carpenter in the film industry. One day as they're building sets, and in walks Jason Momoa ! He's all, like, "Hey guys, what's going on in here ?" and takes a legitimate interest in what K and his crew are doing and how they're doing it.
M hangs out & chats like one of the guys for an hour, asks if he can try out some of their tools (K says they were like, "Uhhh, no - you're super-important and can NOT get injured"). Then a frantic P.A. tracks M down to bring him back to the set so filming can start. Jason thanks the guys for letting him be there.
Day or two later, JM shows up to hang out again - and brought a stack of pizzas in case they hadn't had dinner yet. K could not say enough good things about the guy.
I find his playfulness and sense of humor attractive.

When he played Ronon Dex I would plaster his picture all over everything at school (I'm a teacher) and my colleagues would go, "Who's that?" Reply, "Jason Momoa." Them, "Don't know who he is." Me, "You will."
wanna no something funny that momoa does? when takes pictures with women, he will push the boyfriend away (hand on face) while having an arm around the girlfriend. the boyfriend are so mad.
Martingano, the host of the 'What Do You Mean?' blog on Psychology Today, explained to Bored Panda that celebrities often serve as focal points of admiration and aspiration due to their talents and accomplishments.
"This admiration can be further intensified by the 'halo effect.' This cognitive bias suggests that when we perceive someone positively in one domain (e.g., their acting or singing abilities), it can influence our perception of them in other, often unrelated, domains (e.g., their moral character or wisdom). So, when we see a celebrity excelling in their craft, there's a propensity to believe they are equally commendable in other facets of life," the social psychologist said.
"This amplifies their influence in our lives, and we may find validation when these celebrities display behaviors that align with our perceptions or hopes about their character. In essence, we enjoy the affirmation that our admiration was well-placed," she noted that this is why fans value authenticity so much in the people they look up to and follow.
Sean Astin seems such a sweetheart in everything and I've never got nothing but wonderful vibes off that guy
sea0tter12 added:
I met him once years ago at Dragon Con. I was wearing a Goonies T shirt and went through the line just to say hi. We spoke for a few minutes, and then he asked what he was autographing for me. I told him that was ok, i didn’t have the money but just really wanted to thank him for so many good childhood memories.
He picked up his Sharpie and looked over at his handler or whoever she was, and she shook her head no. Then he grinned and told me to lean over, and he wrote “GNSD” on the sleeve of my shirt. Said it wasn’t an autograph, so it didn’t count. He’s really excited and asks me if I know what it means. I’m stunned and can’t say anything, so he bursts out with “Goonies never say die!” I stuttered and thanked him, then promptly walked to the bathroom and started crying at how nice he was and that I got to meet him.
My childhood crush! I’m so happy he stayed a respectable person and is still successful in the industry.
I love him so much! I have always been a big fan of John Astin and the apple didn't fall far from the adopted tree with Sean. I honestly want to cuddle the guy.
Load More Replies...Had him do a Cameo for my husband's birthday. Hubby says Rudy is his signature role...I say Samwise. We both say Bob (Stranger Things) deservied better! The Cameo was awesome. By the way...he let us know that "Samwise was the Rudy of Hobbits" :)
I’m heartbroken I didn’t get to meet him and Elijah in NI this year.
Danny Devito. The man is a saint.
TyberiousofCanada added:
I have a fun story about Danny Devito. When I was a toddler my mum had me playing in a park with my cousin where a movie was being filmed. My cousin fell and scraped her knee pretty bad at one point and my mum was trying to take care of the both of us. Anyway, a short fellow came up to help her out and soon enough Danny Devito was playing with me in the park! Needless to say, anyone who stops to help a mum who is clearly having trouble with her kids is A+ in my book.
When they were filming Matilda, the little girl playing Matidas mom was sick and dying. Danny got her an early copy of the film so she could see it before she passed
A HS friend of mine was at the boot camp where Renaissance Man was filmed. He didn't have a high opinion of Penny Marshall afterward, but said Danny Devito was so nice, and would hang with the recruits as much as the drill sergeants allowed. His humor quite matches his humanity.
Make this guy a saint or at least grant him a knighthood. 🤩 Edited for spelling
Mara Wilson’s mum, Suzie Wilson, battled breast cancer before passing away on 26 April 1996 - four months before the film's release - and Wilson thought her mum never got to see her on the big screen as the telekinetic child prodigy. The former child star was only eight years old when Matilda was filmed. The finished movie was dedicated to Suzie, which viewers might have noticed in the end credits. Devito personally made sure Mrs. Wilson was able to see an early preview before she passed.
Mr. Rogers is said to have been as wholesome as he portrayed on tv.
We was brave as well as wholesome. He treated kids like people with real issues to address. 3 months after his show started, RFK was assassinated. Next day he did a show for 4 year olds on the subject. He addressed series issues like depression, divorce, bullying, discrimination, and loneliness because he knew these were real issues and fears affecting children. He went to Congress and changed decades of copyright opinion by saying parents should be able to record his show for free.
A blind girl had her mum send a letter regarding his fish. This is why he always made a point of saying out loud that he had fed them. That is wholesome AF.
Americans: "Civil war 2.0! Let's go m***********s!" Mr. Rogers: "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood." Americans: *start crying* "Is that Bob Ross and LeVar Burton with Mr. Rogers? My childhood was awesome!"
Thank god! I love Mr. Rogers. I'm SO glad we didn't find out he was a pedophile.
Did someone think he was? I loved that guy I never ever would have thought that at all ..... i mean you never know but you're right, I am glad that there hasn't been some scandal that he was some creep!
Load More Replies...I loved him as a child and was genuinely sad when he died. Like I lost a relative.
I dressed so much like Mister Roger's when I was a 12-14 year old girl (wore my Dad's Cardigans, blue jeans, t-shirt, and canvas slip-on shoes) that after my Grandfather visited, my Mom sent my Cardigan and shoes to him because she thought he forgot them.
I was a fan as a kid. I was a working journalist when he died and weeping at my desk. Well, ok, sobbing.
Today Fox News would have called him woke and magas would hate him.
Please stop. Politics do not need to be brought into everything.
Load More Replies...It's no secret that celebrities influence most people. However, some individuals form parasocial relationships with celebrities. Martingano explained to us that the term, coined by Donald Horton and R. Richard Wohl in 1956, refers to a one-sided relationship. The "individual feels a strong bond and intimacy with a media figure, despite no mutual interaction or personal acquaintance."
There are some upsides and significant downsides to parasocial relationships. "While these relationships can offer comfort, validation, and a sense of belonging to individuals, they can sometimes blur the lines between reality and perception, especially when emotional connections developed from a character are transferred to the actual celebrity," Martingano told us.
"These relationships could be intensified by authentic displays by celebrities. Observing celebrities' genuine moments can deepen the bond individuals feel, bridging the gap between the 'celebrity' and the ‘fan.' It fosters a sense of shared humanity and makes the celebrity more relatable, reinforcing the bond fans feel with them."
Turned out Chadwick Boseman sure as hell was, and never made a big deal out of it, making it even more admirable.
He never revealed he had cancer because he never wanted to make everything about him.
I remember that while he was battling cancer, Boseman even went to various hospitals visiting young kids who were battling cancer as well
This. I will forever associate him making kids feel better while being terminal himself. The man wanted to leave the world a better place and he made a difference for those kids <3

David Tennant. He seems like a really lovely guy and someone who gets along with everyone he encounters.
StargazerNataku added:
I met him at a con and he is genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He saw I was panicking a bit (my anxiety was high that day and he means a lot to me for various reasons) and he smiled this huge smile and said “Aw come on, I’m nice!” And you could just tell it was true.
Rebekah, don't worry, David IS kind, and good, and all things lovely. Sure, he is also human, but his default setting is 'kind'.
Load More Replies...Also does the best English accent by a non-English person. I love how despite all his success since Doctor Who he still seems most proud of playing the 10th Doctor.
And he seems to have a great friendship with Michael Sheen, who is also a top bloke
I met him outside The Globe Theatre. We were over on a school trip and he took a photo with the whole lot of us. Waited patiently for us to round everyone up and chatted with us. Could not fault him.
One friend who travels a lot for her stars went to a play in which DT was not starring, but he passed her in the hallway. He could tell she recognized him (she's a big fan of him too) and gestured to her not to blow his cover, since he was only a guest there too. I loved hearing this about him.
David Tennant's story is the ultimate fan fatnasy. Grew up wanting to be Doctor Who. Doctor Who got cancelled, but he kept striving for the dream, becoming an actor. Ended up becoming Doctor Who anyway. Then he married the daughter of the Doctor Who he had idolized. And got her a part as Doctor Who's daughter. OK, it's so perfect it almost sounds creepy... but when you see all the parts of the story working together, it's more like it all just works out.
He and Georgia got together on set when she played his daughter, he also dated the lady who played madam de pompidore well before Georgia obvs, his father in law was the Georgia dad played the 5th Doctor

Not seen John Cena mentioned yet? Isn’t he the guy who does the most for the make a wish foundation? Always makes the kids feel like they are the champions 😄
He has answered more wishes with "Mark-A-Wish than anyone, setting a record that is near impossible to eclipse.
Can confirm. We met him a few years back and my son was 1. He was so sweet, he took the time to chat with us and took a pic with my son. My son still talks about how he has a pic with Cena .
If you really want to see how this guy is, watch him when he speaks with Kevin Hart on his show called Hart to Heart or Heart to Hart lol, i dont remember which way it is lol! Anyway, he seems like such a good guy and you can tell from his interaction with Kevin!
I met Cena and had brief conversation with him. A WWE house show was going on that night and Cena went to the local Golds Gym. He had a little section reserved for him so he can work out. Nobody bothered him while he worked out. While I was leaving, coincidentally he was leaving at the same time. I just say hi to him and that I was fan. He said thank you and ask where he could get a decent Protein Shake at. I then directed him to the shopping center over, they had a shake bar there and they were pretty good.
My friend went to high school with him, said John is the kindest most genuine person he has ever met.
Broadly speaking, becoming a famous person can go one of two ways. On the one hand, aside from seeing your hopes and dreams come true, your daily life doesn’t change much. Sure, you’ll meet and greet fans, go on a few shows, and attend fancy award ceremonies, but you might keep a firm grip on who you are.
How you behave and treat others won’t fundamentally change because you know your principles. Family and close friends can help you stay grounded even when everyone wants your autograph.
Henry Cavill. Man is built like a truck, loves video games, and he does volunteer work.
I love the story about Cavell taking his nephew to school after the nephew told his class his uncle was Superman and they laughed at him because they didn't believe him.
HAHA! I just posted the same thing, as I hadn't seen this yet

We Brits are just as good at being heroes as we are villains. Isn't that right, Henry? And Tom Holland?
sure, super wholesome, that's why he complained that metoo makes it hard for men to date
Steve Carell is an awesome dude. He owns a general store in MA where he is from, and will work the register from time to time just to interact with the people.
I met him and his wife while working at a grocery store near his hometown. They were so nice!
Sandra Bullock. She comes to town frequently and is nothing but nice to everyone! She’s super sweet and definitely isn’t faking it.

my brother worked on oceans 8 with her and said she was like a mama to everyone! making sure everyone had gotten lunch when it was delivered, and just genuinely nice to all the extras!
I love listening to her speaking German - she has an adorable Bavarian dialect (unsurprising given that's where she was born)
I have always wanted to meet her! I love her as an actress, producer, and person!
I went to a pizza shop/italian store one time. They had pictures of all the former workers. My friend asked me, "what do you think of her?" It seemed a little weird (we're not the type to "rate" women). So I said, "She looks very pretty.... sorta like a down-to-Earth Julia Roberts." It was Sandra Bullock. I guess I had Mystic Pizza on my mind. (Btw, I've eaten at the real Mystic Pizza, too.) Sorry, Ms. Bullock; Mystic Pizza *was* a great performance, but you're even better.
and yet i read on another one of these lists that she was rude and horrible! what to believe, eh?
On the other hand, the sudden rush of adoration, a massive inflow of cash, and everyone gushing about you in the media can easily go to your head. One of the pitfalls is forgetting your values and adapting your personality to what you think will make you even more popular.
Other celebrities, especially those who are newer to the entertainment industry, might become arrogant and entitled, and start treating others as though they were inferior. Not only is that ethically icky, but it can also harm your reputation, make others second-guess working with you, and can lead to a ton of drama in the media.
Of course, you have to keep in mind that even the most wholesome celebrities in the world cannot be super happy and amazingly awesome 24/7. Nobody can! And there’s nothing wrong with that. Being a human being means living with lots of different emotions, with joy and happiness making up only a fraction of the entire experience.
Hugh Jackman always comes across as such a decent bloke. There's a video of him recognizing a red carpet interviewer as an old pupil of his from when he taught PE, and it's so nice!
Oh really? That's so sad, weren't they often mentioned as one of the longest/strongest (famous person) marriages?

Viggo Mortensen
Not only is he not faking for press, it seems like he actively avoids press. People who've met him say he's the nicest guy on earth
He really truly is - and an animal lover to boot. He's got a house out where I grew up (it's a tiny town of less then 900 people). He was nice the few times I've met him and I've never heard a bad word uttered about him. He says he loves it there because people treat him like a normal human being. The money must be great, but I don't envy anyone who has to live their life in the spotlight. He's taken incredible measures to prevent that in his own life.
One of the stunt riders in LOTR wanted to buy the horse she bonded with during filming but couldn't afford it. Viggo bought the horse and gifted it to her
He bought the horses he rode, and the horse from Hidalgo.

When I was 10 years old, I went to a vert skating competition hosted by Tony Hawk. My parents gifted me backstage access: basically just a little meet and greet with the skaters. Well, my cousin got overheated and suffered a little heatstroke/exhaustion. Tony Hawk personally walked over to the medical tent we were at, ripped off his shoes, signed them, and handed them to us. Then he invited us to basically relax and cool off in his tour bus! Such a fond memory of a super-kind individual.
I always heard he was a great guy. My son went to Woodward and said he was super nice.
I wish Woodward had been around when I was a kid. It's an amazing camp!

He has a space in Johannesburg where teens can hang out, learn things, get services. The man who told me this - a walking tour guide - said he’s saved a lot of kids this way.
So if I ever see Tony Hawk shoeless, I can assume he recently autographed them and gave them to someone lol Dude is wholesome af
What we’re trying to say is that you have to look at the broader picture. Everyone has off days where they grumble, mumble, or might even snap at people. However, it’s whether you apologize for your actions and how you treat others on average that makes up your character.
Even Tom Hanks, one of the most celebrated actors on Earth, has admitted that he has off days. He told the BBC during an interview earlier this year that during those tough days, when life seems to be falling apart, he doesn’t always feel funny, charming, and loving, even if the project demands it.
Samuel L Jackson, despite the vulgar language he is actually a really great guy.
"vulgar language has been shown to show higher intelligence when used grammatically correctly also relates to an increased vocabulary

His music is really funny, watched the Weird Al movie recently and that was awesome
My family really likes his music, he’s not my absolute favorite, but he is really funny
We flew on the same small plane once in 1988 and talked for quite a while. He was a really nice guy and gave me the best advice that I didn't take (and wish I had).
I have met him several times and YES. He is the nicest, down to earth, person you will ever meet!
However, Hanks warns that two things every actor should definitely prioritize is punctuality and respecting the movie crew’s time. “What cannot occur on a motion picture is that someone cannot monkey around with the timing or the length of the shoot or the budget. That is a cardinal sin in the motion picture business,” the A-lister said.
“You will be amazed at how many people know that they can get away with it, and are told they can get away with it because they are carrying the movie on their shoulders.”
Guy Fieri. Dude looks like a chode with his frosted tips, but he raised $25 million for restaurant workers in 2020 and he frequently cooks for firefighters who are fighting wildfires in CA.

Rainn Wilson seems like an awesome dude IRL. He does a lot of charity work and collaborates with his wife on a podcast. When I was a teenager, I ran into him at an ice cream shop and asked him what it was like to be recognized everywhere he goes (this was during the peak Office years), and he sarcastically replied, 'It’s f**king terrible' before chuckling and telling me that he loves being able to meet fans and seeing people get excited when they run into him. He took a photo with my friends and then we were off.

Batista. The wife and I met him a couple years ago at a convention. Was surprised I was taller than him, but man was he jacked.
He put his arms around our shoulders for the picture and I noticed that he smelled *amazing*. Because I have the tendency to say stupid things while nervous, I said "wow you smell amazing", and without hesitation he replied "thank you, that means a lot", shook our hands and gave us a wink. Very brief interaction, but he came across as very genuine.
And no I don't know how big his d**k is before anyone asks.
Nice…up until that unnecessary last line. Pretty sure no one was going to ask.
Didn't he put up money towards the reward for tips on an animal abuser and then adopted the dog himself?
For those of you are are too slow to figure out that there might be a reason for the info, there's a reason for the info. Google only needs two word to tell you the reason.
Why can’t someone just say the reason here so I don’t have to have Batista d**k in my search history 🫠

Bryan Cranston. After I finished Breaking Bad, I filled that void by listening to Cranston's audiobook, his own narration of his autobiography. After listening to him tell his life story for 10 hours, there is not a doubt in my mind that he's about as close as one can be to the polar opposite of Walter White.
Breaking bad was amazing. Top 5 best shows ever made, and his performance was such a departure from anything he'd ever done it really cemented his acting chops. But...Malcolm in the middle will always be his greatest performance. As great as he was in BB....there's a stable of actors who could have taken his role and it still would have been one of the best shows ever made....there is absolutely no one else that could have played Hal.
I've had a crush on him since he played Douglas Donovan in "Loving". ("Loving" was HUGE in South Africa in the mid-late '80s.)
Worked in an episode of breaking bad, and he was incredible. I had him laughing so hard I thought he would bust a gut. Incredible and ALWAYS said hi and knew who we were!
Jeff Goldblum. In the interviews I've seen of him, especially on Conan, he comes across as genuinely authenticate and lovable. His bubbly personality makes him an anomaly in show business. I highly recommend you binge watch his interviews on Conan. Highly engaging and entertaining
I remember when he was on the Daily Show a long time ago. During his interview he mentioned he always like the end of the episodes when Kilborn would go shake hands with the audience. At the end of the show when that happened, Goldblum came out of nowhere into the camera shot and was greeting everyone that he could.
One of my friends works for the company who does photo ops at comic cons, she was telling me about Jeff's photo shoot when he would pause every 5-10 minutes and come over and ask how she was doing, if there was anything she needed and just being genuinely nice to everyone who was getting their photo with him too
Dunno if he still does this, but he used to play Friday nights with his band at a bar in Los Feliz.
GREAT show and had a break ½ way through, specifically for meet/greet & autographs.

And for him, THIS Earth girl may be easy (I'd have to check with my husband first).
Got to meet him and have my picture taken with him at a con. He is EXACTLY like you think he is, bubbly and eccentric- he was singing and snapping to jazz and then holds out his arms for the biggest hug. He's a treasure!
A buddy want to a meet and greet thing or something along those lines that Elijah Wood was at and when it was my buddy's turn to take a picture he asked Elijah if he would jump on his back(buddy is a bigger guy 6'4" or 6'5") for the picture, if I recall right he said sure with out a hesitation and made an awesome photo that I will forever be jealous of.
So basically this is why Peter Jackson´s Lord of the rings was SO HUGE. When all of your cast are genuine good persons, then success is around the corner...
If this person's buddy was dressed as Gollum, THEY WERE RIGHT BEHIND ME AND MY SISTER!!!
Trying to envision a "6'4" or 6'5"" Gollum... 8-)
Load More Replies...Taylor Swift She may not be people's favorite artist, but by all accounts, she's a nice person.
I think she’s a nice person but I also think she has really good PR skills and a whole empire that helps control her image.
In the docu Miss Americana there is a scene where she battles her slightly paranoid PR team on the issue of speaking out on what's going on in U.S politics. She ends up speaking out against their advise. it worked out for her in the end but there was no way for her to know that at that point. Instead she was willing to risk it all because she couldn't stay silent any longer. I very much respect that.
Load More Replies...Not a fan of her music but respect her as she paid millions in bonuses to her road crew.
Bonuses are nice....or she could jusr pay them better wages rather than making them wait.
Load More Replies...Register. Let's home they actually do something with that when it comes time to vote. 🤞🏾🤞🏾
Load More Replies...Idk man, I don't hate her but her fans are mean and I get bullied by a lot if them for being "alt" and she kinda seems to incourage it
And the fans aren't just fans, their zealots, it's an unhealthy obsession.
Load More Replies...She is the favorite artist of legions of young women (including my tween granddaughters) who see here as strong and kind as well.
Post Malone! He's super respectful, calls people sir & ma'am, he's very humble about his place in the world, and he's a huge dork! Caught him on an episode of Game Knights playing Commander (a card game format for Magic the Gathering) and it was a blast to watch!
He's also a big fan of Good Mythical Morning with Rhett and Link. He's been a guest several times and watching the three of them playing their goofy games is hilarious.
I mean, he seems like a really nice guy. He just looks like tired azz hole ground into a paste and served on cold vomit. 20 years from now he will be the poster boy for that lame tattoo trend that went on in the aughts and teens.
You know, I've never been a fan of his music, but I've always liked how he handles himself with people because he's never anything other than himself, just there to have a good time and chat and maybe jam. Never judge a book by its cover.
Emma Stone from the people who have met her say she is one of the nicest people to meet
I love her Lip synching battle with Jimmy Fallon:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGGYM4jA0e0

Hayden Panettiere, I've met the woman twice and she is a gem. At my city's comic expo she wiggled around the rules so some people could see her for free, *technically* she wasn't supposed to be at her booth until 2:00, so she'd show up early and I guess she'd justify people seeing her for free with "well, I don't start until 2:00 🤷🏼♀️." So yeah, she wouldn't start charging people for autographs and photos until it was actually time to. Misha Collins is a peach, I had a friend who couldn't afford an autograph so when she went through the line she asked if he'd be her voicemail, since it wasn't an autograph he didn't charge her for it.
There is SO much more to Misha and the whole cast of Supernatural than "didn't charge"- these guys and gals are amazing with their fans and always giving back!
Misha Collins is a really amazing guy, the good he's done with random acts alone, and he's always been kind and generous to his fans, really appreciative of the fandom.
I met Charlie Musselwhite when he was hitting from Chicago to San Jose, CA in 1965 or so. I was just out of high school, working in a Chevron station south of San Jose. Longer story short: he played his harp for me, said they called him Memphis Charlie, very humble, he was probably early 20s.... his first album came out the following year I think, Turned me on to a life-long blues fanatic.
Apparently the reason she wasn't in Scream 5 is that she didn't have an agent, so they couldn't track her down. From that, and this comment, it seems like she just does the work she wants whenever she wants. And wouldn't we all like to be in that position?
I think she was in in her addiction or trying to get clean. She is very open about suffering from post partum depression and substance usage and has made an amazing come back. She was rumored to not be very nice when she was younger and the start of fame, but she has learned from her life and is definitely a role model for positive change. Hayden not misha

Load More Replies...I'm glad there are so many celebrities that are actually decent humans to help offset the awful ones.
I've been to many a comic-con and (briefly) met many a celebrity at them (Adam West, Miguel Ferrer, Kathy Najimy, Mindy Sterling, Buzz Aldrin, Scott Bakula, Clive Barker, and Doug Jones to name a few). With only one notable exception not listed here, every single one of them has been nice.

Anyone else disappointed with the amount of comments about how hot/good looking these people are? It's a thread about people who are decent humans and some pandas just judging them on their physical appearance. Thought pandas were deeper than that. EDIT- maybe I'm just old, grumpy and tired.
I understand your view, but I'm afraid I will never be able to contemplate Jeff Goldblum without feeling slightly faint...

Thank you for mentioning him. Met him when I was 16 at an awards show. People were too scared to visit him (this is when Star Wars first came out). Not only did I get an autograph, I got kissed as well!
Load More Replies...I have to share this one: Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek, Lt. Uhura). Met her for one of those paid photo-ops at a con. The rule was one photo and move on, no conversations, just hi and thanks. Knowing this I made a little poster with some complimentary facts/thank you about Ms. Nichols to hold up for the photo since there was no time I could tell her how much she meant to me. Once she saw the little board, she stops the photographer and asks me to show it to her! She puts on her glasses, loves the compliments, laughs heartily and gives me a nice side squeeze. I could tell Ms. Nichols had that easy going energy about her and wanted to chat a bit but the photographer was get impatient and I was aware of the queue behind me. So with a big smile, Ms. Nichols throws up a Life Long and Prosper hand and that was that. The day she passed on I reached for that photo. That sliver of time she spent with me left a mark on my heart forever.
I love these feel-good articles. There's enough negativity in the world already. Reading about positive experiences makes me feel a little better about it all.
Seriously. I expected to see him somewhere near the top of the list. Somebody had a brain fârt when he got left out.
