This needs to be higher

Nobody should apply for these jobs NOBODY

that was first lesson i learned in my first office job; also salary was not worth it

Love the dream❣️

Absolutely! For that amount of money, I'd have the place spotless, beautiful, and perfect! And I'd be able to save enough to retire in no time. Besides, the dead are more pleasant than most living outdoor these days anyway!

Finland, here I come!

Bwahaha 🤣

I confess to checking the math.

Missing a bit of context

Amen to that, dude! I loved that I was always an hourly worker rather than salaried.

and the big dumb a*s! (yknow the kid thinks it’s a donkey)

i always dreamed somebody do that or at least i witness it being done

Leave the first time they scream at you.

let’s list the pros and cons

Totally me, working for Tesla.

Meanwhile, can't even get 6 weeks for maternity leave in the states 🙃

My response is the same - I've turned up to do the job I'm contracted to do and at 5 I'm going home

I always feel sad for people who let their work define them…glad to read there are still some who don’t!

A group of Karens is called a 'complaint'.

Sure beats laboring under communism, Che.

Hahahahahaha

Honestly I kind of don't think that people should be able to get loans before their brains fully developed (around 25) or they should at least get a disability discount.. I mean you're not using your full brain that's got to be a disability

dream job exists as long as there are cat cafes

Yesss, this nervous third signal that You can hung up after... :D

Replace the wine with a packet of cheetos and a bag of chips and it's totally me!!

I worked in a call centre many years ago and holiday requests were denied 90% of the time stating the business cant accommodate it. Tough s**t, they're my holiday hours and I'll take them when I NEED TO not when it suits you

1.) We have always done it like this. 2.) We have never done it like that. 3.) Next everyone is having ideas.

Who knew?

I worked in a data center during 2020 and 2021. We got time +1/2 hazard pay to be on-site. Best company I ever worked for. Also, our director chastised me for saying I could be called while on vacation if someone had a question.

Feel it. 2nd month in a new job and it is no fun to be the newbie

There are few things better than waking up way too early, going for a quick bathroom break, and then returning to your nice warm bed for four more blessed hours.

Did he get the job??

Welcome to adulthood

That's not even minimum wage where I live.

“Act Your Wage”

The one on the right is me at 2a, insomnia, surfing BP

Join them. Go for a walk, read an article and take a moment to yourself. If they've set a standard, still get their sh$@ done why not use it to your benefit?

Karen: *tells all her friends to boycott the company* HA! NOW YOU’VE LOST… uh… still 1 customer…

Maintaining mental health can be an emergency. Having a mental health day when needed is a preventative measure we need to stop feeling guilty about

liek the disney f**k you is “have a magical day”

Also I'd hate to die at work. My poor co-workers would have to watch them haul my carcass out of there on a stretcher. And for years to come people would be like "ooh, did you know someone DIED in that office? In that very chair, actually. What? No of course we haven't removed it. It's way too comfy."

Embrace Excel…it’s the only Microsoft program that’s better than what it replaced! Check with HR if you can get formal training, and then take it up to the next level. Or maybe I’m just a dweeb…

"With pleasure" aka the "Fukk off" of the office language.

Naturally Energetic = Coke Head

fine fine *writes a*s for brains *

I love Red

Nailed it.

Let the hunger games begin!

It was mostly the same for us in GenX, but we just didn't know how f*&%ed it was negate we didn't have social media to spread info fast and efficiently. And for the record, younger generations aren't any worse overall than any other generation was. It's just seen and pointed out more because social media points out and spread the bad and ignores the good. People aren't that different than they used to be. A few are OK, a few are awesome and the rest fall somewhere better sucking mildly to being the span of Satan. Have a nice day, tho 🥴

I had a job of 22+ years (w/no write-ups) that attempted twice to fire me (w/no just cause) after a new mgr came in; their third attempt was called "restructuring/phasing out my position " so they called me into a meeting, handed ME my 2wk notice from them and then had the DUMB AUDACITY to think I was going to do work for my last two weeks!!! Ha, ha, ha.....I sat at my desk everyday and did absolutely nothing and my mgr was sending me emails for assignments with due dates... really?!

Oooh... the crustiness.....

Funny, that's my passion too🤔

She's a spy!

oh the horror....you used something your boss gave you, how dare you.

This boomer could handily open a PDF and at most made low five-figures with 30 years of experience. We’re not all rich and clueless…

My Greatest Generation parents were young adults during the Depression when jobs were rare and not well paid. While I was working at a min wage retail job years ago I had an opportunity to get a better paying temporary job with a possibility of becoming permanent. My dad advised me to keep the job I had because you should always hold on to a sure thing. That was his Depression experience talking. I did take the better job and stayed for 24 years.

I always ask why the position is vacant, it's interesting to compare with what my new coworkers say

YEP…unless you’re a rocket scientist or brain surgeon or something else along those lines. Please feel free to list other options…

This looks to be an acceptable activity for a day off. And remember: Doing "nothing" or idling is an active process.

Anytime they're explaining what we're doing that day I say "But what if I said... No?"
