Parents that say that do so because they don't parent their boys. If they taught them basic life skills aka made them do chores, held them to the same standards and curfews as girls, they'd see how emotional they are.

It pisses me off when people think raising a boy is easier. In some cases yes, but saying a boy is less emotional is b******t. I've always looked at it more as the intersibling issues... All boys will largely just knock each other around a bit, which sucks (I had 3 brothers), but sisters will emotionally scar the hell out of each other (wife has 2 sisters).
