For me it's more about making sure my parents don't get hospitalized. I was in therapy because of them, and there's a lot of stuff I didn't tell my old therapist because I was afraid stuff would get twisted and she would think I wasn't safe or something. Sometimes it's hard to explain stuff exactly how it happened and if you leave out just one important detail it can seem like you said something entirely different than what you actually meant. Hopefully getting a new therapist soon, and I'm going to try to be more honest with them, but we'll see how it goes.

It seems more like a circle of therapy. Therapist A sees Therapist B. Therapist B sees Therapist R and Therapist R sees Therapist A. Unless Therapist A is junior under mentorship, and there are likely to be many more steps between just the three of them.

I've found you can always make things sound much more dramatic by saying "I'm in therapy for a reason." I am, in fact, in therapy for a reason, it just has nothing to do with anything I just told you.

It’s like if someone hesitates or doesn’t talk to me when they get the chance they clearly don’t like me and I have to respect that because I don’t want to push boundaries or seem like I get emotionally attached and you never actually know how much someone hates you and what if they’re trying to hint it to you but your too stupid to understand social cues so you would miss is so anything that happens you try to pay attention and look at the possibilities and usually it’s that they don’t like you, right?
