The end of a long and blissful summer for the whole population of school kids and their teachers must only mean one thing, back to school you go! Though kids might cry about the end of carefree summer days, it's so much harder for the teachers. Imagine dealing with a horde of wild and unruly kids times 30, listening to their parents' complaints, dealing with all the paperwork, and getting ready for lessons for most of the year for a salary that's not so amazing. We bet that even the best teachers can lose their heads sometimes.

Now it doesn't have to be all doom and gloom, as it's a time to reconnect and share the funny stories with colleagues and classmates, discuss all the new and funny school happenings and maybe make some teacher memes. A fresh start full of optimism for the new semester. To get the right mood going, we here at Bored Panda have collected our favorite school memes and memes for teachers; they are guaranteed to give you a chuckle, students especially but teachers perhaps a little painfully.

Scroll down below to check the funny memes about school out for yourself!

We had to go to a conference once because of my son yelling at classmates, "She just gave you the directions AND they are written on the board!" I was in school myself at the time, later became a teacher and wished that would happen in my class.

So far this year, I have spent $870 of my own money and school just started. Among other things that I bought, I thought it would be nice to also get my students flexible seating arrangements such as special stools that rotate and floor cushions.

I know it feels like it isn't appreciated, but it is. The only people that ever gave a damn about me were my teachers, and are the only reason I busted my a*s to make them proud.

Teachers are overworked and grossly underpaid. All too often they have to buy school supplies out of their own shallow pockets. Meanwhile, our bugnut education secretary wants to buy them guns, and the U.S. accounts for 47% of the world's military spending.

In other countries teachers don't pay anything to students. It's the school, so goverment who pay supplies, tools, cushions and everything.

I salute some asian countries who pays respect to their teachers through good compensation. Philippines is not one of them. 😢

I can't upvote the picture because the man on the left is actually committing a very cruel and inhumane act. He pulled the baby shark out of the ocean so he could take selfies with it and by the time he was done, it had died. Such an awful evil act. Moving on...I do believe teachers should be paid much, much more than they actually are. They have the most important job on the planet, teaching, guiding, and molding our children and helping to shape our future. They deserve to make A LOT more than they actually do. They also spend a lot of their own money to make sure their students have all the supplies they need and have a comfortable environment to learn in. Unfortunately, the higher-ups in control of schools and school districts create budgets that put more money in their pockets and less money in teachers pockets. This has gone on forever, and it must stop. We need to start calling our Senators, Congress People, Mayors, and Governers. Maybe if we make enough noise they will listen and do something. Making the plight of teachers go viral might help too. So, PLEASE start calling, texting, and writing to the government leaders in your state, also call the school districts as well. If enough people speak up, and if we can make this subject go viral, more people will see it, and hopefully take action to help. And the only way for us to help the teachers is to speak up and stand up for them and demand the people in charge raise their salaries. Nowadays with social media, we are able to affect a lot of change, and this is something that has been a long time in coming. This is something we can fix. So Please...Do what you can to make a difference for these men and women. Demand that the government in your state do the right thing and raise the salaries of ALL teachers!! You could also donate supplies to specific teachers, or certain grades K-12, or you could donate supplies to the schools themselves, but if you do that, you have to make sure that they pass out those supplies. (And some schools won't. They will keep them for their own personal use.) So, it's better if you deliver to the teachers themselves. Just, Please, find a way to help! Anything is better than the way it is right now. Lastly, I want to say Thank You to teachers everywhere. You deserve far more recognition than you get and much larger salaries.

I keep hearing this low-pay thing, but the average income of public school teachers in California is $67-83 K .... ? It's not a million but it's not peanuts either.

That’s in California. In most of the other states, we can barely make a living. You can easily get stuck in the $40,000s for years and years (some states much lower). You tell me how in this day and age you can manage with that much. Just an FYI, I am in CT and the cost of living is ridiculous.

Budget cuts, sadly. It's why parents have a list of supplies to buy every August, and included are items such as: scissors, tape, pencils, and tissues.

I always hated those kind of parents that try everything to blame the teachers for doing their best, while the truth is that they just suck at being good parents.

Last year in my son class a mother went mad (and insulting)against the teacher because she asked to talk about the kid's behavior (rude, violent, always dissipated). The teacher was polite, the mother was'nt, refused to talk in private so that all the school withness the scene and knows about the kid's behavior. She changed him for another school arguing that the kid was nice and was only bold with this teacher so that was her fault. Met her a few times this summer while at the park with my own trolls. Last week she was upset hollidays were hell too long and that her kids was driving her mad, teachers were overpaid and didn't deserve so much vacations. So I told her she should stop bad mouthing about anyone who accept to deal with her monster and 25 other kids all day long when she was fed up after few weeks. She probably will never speak to me again.

I taught grades 4-8 during my career. I used to have a black shoebox with a tombstone on the top of it. The tombstone read, Here lies papers without a name, unloved, ungraded, what a shame. The student(s) missing work had to do it over. The students all thought that was hysterical and wanted to be the one who buried the paper. The weird thing was, I never had one parent complain, they obviously never told them about the paper graveyard.
