(I'll commit the sin of paraphrasing this community's title, but trust me, it's just a minor change and doesn't detract anything from it.)
The subreddit is called '[Dumb] People At Work.' Even though it's smaller than its aforementioned cousins and has just over 9K members, the content is just as good. Or bad. Depends on how you look at it.
Tying up dirt and rocks with straps, building questionable towers from nearby material instead of getting a ladder... It's all there!

Most of these people look like they have never heard of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). It's a federal agency responsible for ensuring safe and healthy working conditions for employees in the United States.
OSHA sets and enforces standards for workplace safety and health, and provides training, outreach, education, and assistance to employers and workers.
OSHA violations occur when an employer fails to comply with OSHA standards or regulations. These violations can range from minor infractions, such as failing to properly label a chemical container, to serious violations that result in injury or death, such as failure to provide proper fall protection or failure to adequately train employees on the use of hazardous chemicals.

There are two types of plungers, the one just the rubber cup is for sinks or tubs with a flat surface around the drain, the one with a f lange on the bottom of the cup is for toilets.

i know that in my work, we have a toilet brush that is used ONLY to clean out the inside of the bunn brewers (filter coffee). It's clearly marked, kept in a cleaning cupboard away from all the toilet cleaning stuff. but it confuses a lot of people at first.

Used to work at a glass factory. Happened there too, after a rush order a couple of us did on a Saturday. The manager thought he could drive a forklift. We refused to work another 6 hours, and the manager was "reassigned" the Monday after. Still hurts to think about it.

We have a bridge in my home town that acts as a truck trap. It has a clear max height warning, yet several time a year, it snares another victim. So, the city decided the warning was not enough, and they placed a construct infront of the bridge, so if the truck wont fit, this thing hits the roof first and wont cause as much damage on either the truck or bridge. The problem is, they only placed one of those, in one direction even though it is a two way street because they claimed "most trucks drive in this direction". It only took some weeks, and a truck got stuck again - coming from the other direction.

Oh, I have a fun one! I’m playing D&D with my family. Background: the party just got our asses kicked, and have been captured. My mom was a sorcerer, my brother was a rogue, and I was a paladin. My dad was DMing. So, my brother picks the lock of our cell and sneaks out, and tries to steal the (asleep) guard’s sword. Critical failure, the guard wakes up. Roll for initiative. Literally the NEXT TURN, I, the MEAT SHIELD, grab the sword and lop off the guy’s head. Shortly followed by in-character banter about the meat shield doing the rogue’s job.

My dad once tried to attack a fire imp with fire. Also my players trial-and-errored though a simple Indiana Jones floor puzzle. This is why I love D&D.
