Have you ever had a conversation with someone about your favorite food or drink, only to have them turn their nose up in disgust? "Ew, how on Earth can you possibly enjoy that?" they might say. "It's gross!"

And they're well within their rights. After all, taste is highly subjective; just because someone doesn't enjoy a particular flavor or texture doesn't mean it's not delicious to others. Right?

Well, the Instagram account 'Most Offensive Foods' is here to challenge that notion. As its name suggests, this fun little online project is on a mission to find objectively terrible dishes, and it's not holding anything back. From brewing coffee with pasta water to a Doritos and Mountain Dew cheesecake, continue scrolling to check out the abominations.

Once I went to an ice cream fair in Italy, it was named something like "500 tastes", and that was the exact number of ice cream tastes they had! There were like artichokes ice cream, parmesan, raw ham! etc. And they were all tasting surprisingly good.

Well, there is ketchup flavour, and mustard flavour, that people actually bought and ate at the CNE....and I remember a food truck at one other event had several very interesting flavors that have slipped my mind by now.

A walmart near me carried a fancy brand, started with a V that had a GREY POUPON MUSTARD flavored.....AND THEY HAD TO RESTOCK IT!

I had mac n cheese ice cream (Van Leeuwen brand) and it was like cold, sweet mac n cheese. It was, in reality, quite tasty!

One of our local ice cream shops had a mystery flavor and it was mac & cheese. The ice cream part tasted ok, like cheesecake, but the texture of the noodles in the ice cream was really gross.

I'd try it, there's a Filipino cheese flavoured ice cream that I was pretty skeptical of until I tried it... basically tasted like KD cheese powder, I imagine this would be the same

7-up cake and mt dew cake are both actually very good. Not sure why everyone is hating on them. They are very tasty, moist lemony sort of flavored cakes. Like lemon bread.

I know this sounds gross, but I have this delicious sweet 'n sour cocktail hot dog recipe. My mom refused to tell me what was in it (my step aunt made it) until I was older... ketchup and grape jelly. You literally melt them together. And if I had known I would've barfed, but listen - I loved it, and still do. Sometimes weird combos work.

I'd see nothing wrong with this... butternut squash soup uses the same spice combo as pumpkin pie spice, basically would just be a thinner version of that with noodles Maybe just skip the whipped cream and espresso shot haha

This is actually not as bad as it sounds! It's quite common in the Netherlands. It's called "leverkaas" or literally, liver cheese. No clue why it's called "cheese" as there's no cheese in it at all!
