And they're well within their rights. After all, taste is highly subjective; just because someone doesn't enjoy a particular flavor or texture doesn't mean it's not delicious to others. Right?
Well, the Instagram account 'Most Offensive Foods' is here to challenge that notion. As its name suggests, this fun little online project is on a mission to find objectively terrible dishes, and it's not holding anything back. From brewing coffee with pasta water to a Doritos and Mountain Dew cheesecake, continue scrolling to check out the abominations.

I remember this. Someone asked them if it was good and all they replied was "no". LOL.
Once I went to an ice cream fair in Italy, it was named something like "500 tastes", and that was the exact number of ice cream tastes they had! There were like artichokes ice cream, parmesan, raw ham! etc. And they were all tasting surprisingly good.
Well, there is ketchup flavour, and mustard flavour, that people actually bought and ate at the CNE....and I remember a food truck at one other event had several very interesting flavors that have slipped my mind by now.
Thank goodness this only happens periodically.
A walmart near me carried a fancy brand, started with a V that had a GREY POUPON MUSTARD flavored.....AND THEY HAD TO RESTOCK IT!
Wow and I thought that butter chicken curry ice cream I saw once was bizarre.
I had mac n cheese ice cream (Van Leeuwen brand) and it was like cold, sweet mac n cheese. It was, in reality, quite tasty!
I actually have a container of Mac and cheese ice cream in the freezer. Sitting next to it is the mustard ice cream. Still looking for that courage
One of our local ice cream shops had a mystery flavor and it was mac & cheese. The ice cream part tasted ok, like cheesecake, but the texture of the noodles in the ice cream was really gross.
Who am I to judge? I can't imagine wanting an extra salty ice cream but people like salted caramel

7-up cake and mt dew cake are both actually very good. Not sure why everyone is hating on them. They are very tasty, moist lemony sort of flavored cakes. Like lemon bread.
I would happily try this. Probably with a spoon handy when it falls apart, but I'd eat it.
I know this sounds gross, but I have this delicious sweet 'n sour cocktail hot dog recipe. My mom refused to tell me what was in it (my step aunt made it) until I was older... ketchup and grape jelly. You literally melt them together. And if I had known I would've barfed, but listen - I loved it, and still do. Sometimes weird combos work.

This is actually not as bad as it sounds! It's quite common in the Netherlands. It's called "leverkaas" or literally, liver cheese. No clue why it's called "cheese" as there's no cheese in it at all!
Why not? It's probably just the flavor, not actual gum. I've had bubblegum flavored fudge before. Recently had jelly donut flavored, too!

Most of these seem fine, TBH. (I'm not sure why there are several hand sanitisers on the list, either. They're not "dishes" and adding a fragrance so it doesn't smell like raw alcohol seems a fairly straightforward idea.)
I think it's more it seems like a really good way to get a child to drink hand sanitizer...

I wouldn't even touch the other slop, but I have had coffee cheese, and it's incredibly delicious! I keep looking for it here in my area, but haven't seen it for a couple years now. It must have been a fluke order or delivery to my favorite grocery store at the time, but I sure wish it would come back.
so basically what we need is for Gordon Ramsay to invade the USA and force all americans to go on cooking lessons so that they do not produce abominations like this ever again. /joke <- for people with no sense of humour.
