Have you ever had a conversation with someone about your favorite food or drink, only to have them turn their nose up in disgust? "Ew, how on Earth can you possibly enjoy that?" they might say. "It's gross!"
And they're well within their rights. After all, taste is highly subjective; just because someone doesn't enjoy a particular flavor or texture doesn't mean it's not delicious to others. Right?
Well, the Instagram account 'Most Offensive Foods' is here to challenge that notion. As its name suggests, this fun little online project is on a mission to find objectively terrible dishes, and it's not holding anything back. From brewing coffee with pasta water to a Doritos and Mountain Dew cheesecake, continue scrolling to check out the abominations.

I luv how these r all(i think) american brands EDIT 1: Thanks y’all for 39 upvotes + creating a whole conversation of replies!
Is it just me or have I seen this pic at least five times since last month?
It’s de-constructed. It’s fancy. Where’s your class? But I still don’t know what a “ceased” salad is.
I'm pretty sure they meant ceasar salad, which I'm not 100 percent sure about but is a salad with iceberg lettuce, mayonnaise, bread cubes (forgot the real name for them)
Load More Replies...Wtf is a "ceased salad?" And why does noone ever spell check before posting on bpanda? It should be embarrassing
some places would have called it "Deconstructed" Ceasar salad, and they would have charged you $30
they forgot the grated parmesan for the top and the cracked black pepper
Well, they got the name right. Surely whomever put that together has "ceased" calling it a "salad".
People really, really need to understand what a Ceasar salad is before they complain about getting what they asked for.
Really sad presentation, but at least it's romaine and appears fresh..... definitely not worth $15 though in my book....
Honestly better to assemble it yourself than get delivered assembled an hour later with soggy lettuce.
Wouldn't say it was Gross so much as it's a bloody rip off and l'd be demanding money back.
What happens when you buy a ceased to exist salad instead of an Caesar salad
If it we're dressed, the lettuce would be gross and the croutons mushy. This is a reasonable solution
yes, this is how most restaurants will serve salad if it's delivery. people complain about soggy, dressing soaked salad.
I don’t think the dressing delivery system is their main complaint…
Load More Replies...I remember this. Someone asked them if it was good and all they replied was "no". LOL.
These are generally special ordered fur new baby gender reveal Parties or for baby showers. Never see them in stores.
7-up cake and mt dew cake are both actually very good. Not sure why everyone is hating on them. They are very tasty, moist lemony sort of flavored cakes. Like lemon bread.
I would happily try this. Probably with a spoon handy when it falls apart, but I'd eat it.
I know this sounds gross, but I have this delicious sweet 'n sour cocktail hot dog recipe. My mom refused to tell me what was in it (my step aunt made it) until I was older... ketchup and grape jelly. You literally melt them together. And if I had known I would've barfed, but listen - I loved it, and still do. Sometimes weird combos work.
No - I really shouldn't comment.... though it is very tempting
I love how this has no name - as it really is indescribable
This is actually not as bad as it sounds! It's quite common in the Netherlands. It's called "leverkaas" or literally, liver cheese. No clue why it's called "cheese" as there's no cheese in it at all!
Why not? It's probably just the flavor, not actual gum. I've had bubblegum flavored fudge before. Recently had jelly donut flavored, too!
If we would just let pizza be pizza, there would be world peace.
Ahhh.... one of those crafty arty puzzles..... you have 30 seconds to find the bagel.
Maybe uncommon in the US and europe, but in some parts of asia it's normal food

Apparently some people need thqt, so there: Salad: a cold dish of various mixtures of raw or cooked vegetables, usually seasoned with oil, vinegar, or other dressing and sometimes accompanied by meat, fish, or other ingredients. Ex. "a green salad"
From Merriam-Webster "salad noun sal·ad ˈsa-ləd 1 : any of various usually cold dishes: such as a : raw greens (such as lettuce) often combined with other vegetables and toppings and served especially with dressing b : small pieces of food (such as pasta, meat, fruit, or vegetables) usually mixed with a dressing (such as mayonnaise) or set in gelatin 2 : a green vegetable or herb grown for salad especially : LETTUCE 3 : a usually incongruous mixture : HODGEPODGE"
Load More Replies...Most of these seem fine, TBH. (I'm not sure why there are several hand sanitisers on the list, either. They're not "dishes" and adding a fragrance so it doesn't smell like raw alcohol seems a fairly straightforward idea.)
I think it's more it seems like a really good way to get a child to drink hand sanitizer...
Load More Replies...I wouldn't even touch the other slop, but I have had coffee cheese, and it's incredibly delicious! I keep looking for it here in my area, but haven't seen it for a couple years now. It must have been a fluke order or delivery to my favorite grocery store at the time, but I sure wish it would come back.
so basically what we need is for Gordon Ramsay to invade the USA and force all americans to go on cooking lessons so that they do not produce abominations like this ever again. /joke <- for people with no sense of humour.
I love how BP makes a post about people being offended over the dumbest things and then makes a post about "offensive" food. Yeah, they were pretty offensive.
