If you have boobs, why wouldn't you have boob armor? I think trauma plates worn over the sternum under bullet proof vests are shaped different for men vs women. It seems logical. Weird thing to get triggered by.

I hate to be like this, but I think I would have to interfere. In the middle ages, breast plates with breasts would be stupid, since it would allow a sword or spear to fokus into the middle, where it would penetrate the metal. The aim was to have the blows deflect sideways and outwards. On modern equipment, swords and spears are no longer an issue. Bullets don't deflect but hit you straight on, with massive force, therefore padding is more important. I've never seen the mandalorian, so can't say anything in this case. Also, I've never worn a bullet proof vest, so can't speak of comfort either. What I'm trying to say is: don't mix apples and pears.

It probably would make more sense for chest plates not to have individual boob armor but rather, a single outward curve that allows extra room for both men and women's chests. Bc as Linus Nilsson pointed out below, breast plates with individual breasts are not very practical for deflecting blows.

really tho would this lady like to try on chest-plates made for someone that has a less protruding chest, it's the same thing as clothes they have a bigger chest area for a reason.

plus, they'd be going a lot f*****g slower if the girls were just flopping about in there. It's, I assume, having your balls attached to your chest, but bigger and floppier and softer and maybe just as sensitive.

This one isn't dumb actually, it's true. Armour doesn't need to fit breasts, since they are squishy after all. And the inward dent right over the breastbone would actually be dangerous if someone hit you there. That's why arnour in the middle ages wasn't fit to outline the male body either but was made to have a good amount of space between armour and chest. The only reason there are female "breast armours" in the Mandalorian and other shows is to make the women remain sex objects.
