Cats have a unique and amusing personality that makes them one of (if not the) internet's favorite creatures. Their owners often catch these animals doing silly things — like getting stuck in a box that's too small for them — and what's more, they have the facial expressions to make such moments even funnier
The Facebook group 'Kitty Litterposting' is a place that invites everyone to share their best cat content, and as the name — which is a reference to the term trash posting — suggests, it's pretty liberal with what it accepts. So let's dive in and see what this online community has accumulated over the years!

the cat or the game? or both? (probably both ^w^)
Load More Replies...OMG! My cat Tigger and I used to do that! It was a game I’d call “Where’s That Tigger?”. She’d start the game all on her own by going to her “hiding” place which was to sit on the outside corner edge of the bathtub between the outside and inside shower curtains. I’d go everywhere around my apartment calling out “Where’s that Tigger?” and of course eventually finding her there. She’d make a mad dash to hide under the bed, tail sticking out from under it so I couldn’t miss her. We’d do the same again. Then it was “There’s that Tigger?” Back she’d go to her hideout in the bathroom. And so on. We had so much fun.
My very first cat would play hide and seek with me. I'd run and hide and he would find me and tap me on my foot. Then off he'd run and hide. His favorite hiding place was under the dining room table. I don't think he quite understood the rules of the game. lol.
Load More Replies...I'm never quite sure if cats instigate games to amuse themselves, or keep us entertained, because they apparently view us as furless (and not particularly bright) enormous cats.
You are nothing more than soft can-openers. We occasionally try to treat you, to encourage the opening of cans.
Load More Replies...Mine will sit behind shower curtains (I just pretend I don't see the cat-shaped shadow) and chirp. Then I ask "Where's the kitty-kitty?" and she shows her paw. It's so stinkin' adorable.
When we are on our walks, me and my cat play "catch me, idiot". My cat approaches unnoticed from behind and gently nudges my calf with her paw. Then she slowly hops in front of me and I start a 2 meter sprint and so does she. Then at some point she starts her insidious approach again. Her name is Easy. That's short for "I can kill you so easily".
My cat liked a new paper grocery bag; he'd stuff himself in there and peek out the front like "nobody knows where I am..." So I'd ask "where's Mack? I can't find him." And the paper bag would start purring really loud.
It behavior like this that lets us know how cats do choose to interact with us humans. Not sure why, but I love it.
One of my cats gets cross and meows at me if I got past without acknowledging him, even when he is hidden and/or camouflaged.
Yeah, a lot of cats actually like to play hide and seek. When you find her, touch her, and then YOU run and hide. She will keep the game.
Somewhere someones morning has been ruined, and peepers could not be happier!
i especially like pix of voids on social media. The more malevolent they look the better.
We all float down here… but we take breaks to get food, of course, so FEEEEEEEEEED
In the UK, cats can go in/out via a catflap whenever they like, its pretty standard here in many of our towns and cities.
And you think only dog farts smell foul. I think I can see the paint starting to peel off the walls from it in this pic.

Why do I sit here scrolling this stuff?? It worries people to see a man my age staring at his phone with a big, stupid grin and tears rolling down his face.
Even a dog person like me can appreciate the actual hilariousness of kitties. When my goodest dogs are gone and I am old I will have a cat or two.
Why is it, when you stroke a cat's fur you get anions instead of cations?
