Apple release ceremonies used to be genuinely newsworthy events, showcasing impressive and innovative new technology that confirmed, in the eyes of many, that the company was far ahead of its rivals and justified the hefty price tags of its products.
These days? Not so much. To the average person, Apple's pricing seems unrealistic compared to its competitors, which have caught up and in some cases overtaken Apple in product innovation. The pomp and ceremony accompanying these release events has perhaps lost its sheen to all but the most loyal fans, and instead of being met with awe, they are instead the target of derisive memes.
With the announcement of the iPhone 11 just recently, the memes have been flowing thick and fast. The main target of most fun has been the unusual design of the phone's camera - featuring three large lenses - which has been compared to everything from a stovetop to a coconut. Can't imagine what I mean? Scroll down to check them out for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments!

This! Stop encouring the bastards by buying their new c**p. It's no better than a scam.
I love it, a person with a Nobel Peace Prize is taking a dig at Apple...
Meh - done this. In fact removed it from my iPhone-shite phone. Only bought one - not getting conned twice.
This year's iPhone is basically a refresh of the previous version with triple cameras.
Yep. If you want to blow that much money, buy something cheaper and give the rest to a soup kitchen or homeless shelter.
Okay this is not good for those with tryptophobia. F**k I googled typtophobia to make sure I spelled it right and oh my f*****g god 🤮
When will people get this. Products in the USA never include tax/VAT on their display prices, where as in Europe the price always includes VAT. In the USA the sales tax is only added when making the payment. Mos states have sales taxes between 3% - 11% (5 states don't even have a sales tax, so there you pay what you see). The UK has a 20% VAT rate. So the adjusted price would be $839 (680 GBP). That's still 49 GBP more expensive in the UK, this however is often attributed to custom fees, transport costs and overall market price adjustments, which then makes up the final price of 729 GBP. You can argue if the 49 GBP extra is justified or not, however in the end it's really not that big of a difference and it all depends on your countries/states taxes and not Apple.
I doubt it. Apple sold overpriced c**p well before he died. I just don't understand people who admire him for being some sort of a tech god/ guru. I've always admired him for being a savvy businessman- he created a brand. People pay for the logo and name, not for the good build quality or technical features.
hahaha my camera roll is just pics of dogs, my nephew, and memes :)
Honest advice from an IT Guy with a telecommunication background, with smartphones you get the best value for money around 150 euros (165 USD). Maybe 100 more if you want a good camera but more than that you are only wasting money.
I have a good friend in the same industry who says exactly the same thing. People never really believe it though, much rather fall for all the hype.
Load More Replies...Apple are just taking the p**s. They are taking your money while laughing at you.
I saved loads of money (and both my kidneys, haha) over the years by not buying any iPhones. They may look cool when new but in the end it's just an overpriced piece of plastic that stops working properly after a year or two. [And yes, I cannot afford it.]
They don't even look cool anymore. My 180 Euros Huawei phone makes my brother's iPhone look really old and clunky.
Load More Replies...So you go and buy a new phone and then 9 months later a newer and better version of your phone comes out. this happens over and over and I dont understand how or why people try and keep up. I got my Galaxy note 5 back in 2015 and just used my insurance for the first time and got an upgrade to the note 8 for $75. I was expecting the same phone and would of been fine with it. Spending thousands of dollars on these phones is wasteful.
That's why you don't buy every phone that comes out. You buy one every 2 or 3 years. How much was your note5 back in 2015? Not cheap either, right?
Load More Replies...All these camera upgrades and still no one is going to watch that 20 minute concert video you recorded
and it's alsoi sad watching a live event through a screen
Load More Replies...that is not true. a new iphone costs money someone not rich can save. unfortunately many do this
Load More Replies...Yes, yes, yes. But plenty of sheep will continue to buy that overpriced c**p, keeping the cycle going.

Why do people even want one when they can't afford it? There's not much more that the iPhone can do than some $250 android phone. You "sell your kidney" (as a joke) for something that's not even cool any more?
I had an iPhone once. My husband (then fiancee) bought it for me. After the second year it just completely stopped working. I hated everything about it by then. Also, I hated (at the time) how easily my husband could share photos with other apple users. I know photo sharing is super easy now, then it was a bit harder. He accidentally shared an entire apple photo album of my daughters birth to his family. He was only supposed to send a few select snapshots and instead sent ever photo to my in-laws. They saw parts of me that should have never been revealed.
As a previous I phone user who has now converted to the good an holy Samsung, I'm laughing my bloody a**e off
I have a flip phone that does everything I need it to- including internet. there is no need to buy this. Just don't.
I have an Apple iphone. But's it's the iPhone 7. I have no plans to upgrade to anything until this one bites the dust.
Full, total and entire list of game changing and beautiful Apple products.... G3 Mac Pro Blue 1999, MacBook Air 2008, iPhone 2008, iMac Uni 2012. That's it. Apple haven't released anything of interest for 7 years and the sheep still buy a new c**p phone (by all other manufacturer standards) each year for insane prices. Laughable. I have a work iPhone and what a POS. I understand people like them because they are easy to use. Must be nice being able to just admit to being a bit to stupid to use a phone

I've avoided Apple products all my life. There is no way in hell I'm shelling out that much cash when I can by an Android with the same features that came out before the iPhone decided to copy it and the Android phones sell for a fraction of the price. Buy Android, keep the change. Buy Apple, get a mortgage!
When I see someone with the newest iPhone, I can't stop myself from judging them harshly.
I wanna know, for real -- what about this contraption is worth the cost? Materials? Research? Company salaries? Ego? Features simply can't be worth that much money for the average consumer. I have an old android and don't even know what that means, but it works. Geez.
we pick are own wheel, the big one -maybe infinite-, for us and all people, or we pick sb else's wheel, believing that either it's for our sake or not having a choice.
