Designers Combined Animals Together And Some Of Them Are So Bad They’re Funny (30 Pic)
InterviewThe world is filled with all sorts of animals and creatures. There are cute ones, scary ones (looking at you, spiders), and magnificent ones. Some, of course, are stranger than others. However, probably nothing will match the creativity and imagination of these designers from DesignCrowd.
DesignCrowd organizes competitions where people display their Photoshop skills and ability to come up with unique ideas. This time the contests were 'Chimaera' and 'Animal Crossbreed' and people delivered. The concepts that they came up with are quite interesting and one of a kind. The Photoshop skills are not always the best, but hopefully, they will still make you laugh and raise your spirits up.

But it's also Heuschrecke (Hay fright) and Grashüpfer (grass hopper)
Load More Replies...We managed to get an interview with one of the designers that participated in this contest (he created the insect/horse combination) and he told us more about himself and how he got started in digital art: "I liked art and creativity since I was a child. I since then have learned how to use a computer and I became interested in learning to draw in Paint, then in Corel Painter, and finally Photoshop. After that, I started doing 3D modeling."
Well you're gonna wait a long time for him to retrieve anything! But he's cute, I'd wait...

We asked the artist if he has fond memories of participating in Photoshop contests and how DesignCrowd was helpful to him: "I certainly learned a lot during this period, made friends, had fun, and even earned some money with some jobs."
It's a Mistmaker, if anyone has read the book "The Secret of Platform 13" I actually think Harry Potter massively borrowed from this book which came out way before. It's well worth a read! Author Eva Ibbotson
Well this is the most terrifying thing I've seen that isn't a human
The artist told us about how his unique animal combination came to life: "The idea came from the theme of this contest that the article is showing. I was looking at reference photos and ended up with a combination of a horse and a grasshopper. So I was cutting out parts of the grasshopper and superimposing it on the horse. In the end, I also used parts of other insects for some details."
The artist tells us more about what he's into today and what he's up to: "Today I don't spend as much time doing Photoshop anymore. However, when I have time, I usually do 3D modeling." 3D modeling is often what follows after digital art for many artists. It opens up a lot of possibilities and career opportunities.
"Look me in my eyes, and repeat that!" "Umm okay... east eye, or west one?"
Load More Replies...Griffin? Or was that Sphinx? I seem to remember some mythological animal that was an eagle head and a lion body, or the other way around.
DesignCrowd writes about the goal of their business: "Our mission is to help businesses find the best design in the world, faster, and at a price that fits their budget. We also want to give designers the chance to earn money for their creative skills."
Once I saw a big dog with the same markings, then heard a little girl say, “Look Daddy, a cow puppy!”
DesignCrowd is a great place for designers and creative people who need a place to unleash it. If you're looking for a website where you can get your own work seen, become better, and meet with other designers - DesignCrowd is for you!
I don't know what this is, exactly, but I can see them dominating the illegal pet trade. Soon they'd become invasive, as people realize its difficult to keep pandapardlemurs, and they'd be found in parks and backyards across the nation.
It's a red Panda head with a cat body (some kind of wild cat, but I cannot find the correct name right now)
Load More Replies...Do NOT make that mad. That Centiger (centaur plus tiger) looks like it can do a LOT of damage
This looks like something that would be on the cover of a special interest novel.
Load More Replies...Well, good thing those are ostrich lips ;)
Load More Replies...I'm starting to think that anything will look cute and friendly with loppy, floppy ears.
That's funny because i was just thinking how much this disturbed me.
Load More Replies...Yes, it has extremely potent Cute venom. If you even attempt to hold it, you will be attacked, and die of Cuteness within minutes :)
Load More Replies...The Bunkit just looks like it's about to be eaten by the rattler
If not for the tail, this one is almost believable as an actual animal. And I want it.
Not any more disturbing than the real creature with a cat's face.
Load More Replies...Turvy! (Lindesfarne and Fenton's daughter from the webcomic "Kevin and Kell". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_and_Kell )
visually its cute but conceptually it would be a nightmare to live with
I just KNOW it is a big mistake looking at these before heading off to bed.
Hey, so I was right on the white on earlier! I wasn’t sure if it was a griffin or Sphinx.
Load More Replies...This exists. GRIFFIN. actually lol it doesn’t exist except in stories XD
Yes! That's what it reminds me of, thanks. It really does look alien.
Load More Replies...The giant panda (大熊貓) would be dàxióngmāo in Chinese and ōkumaneko in Japanese; this creature would therefore be (大熊虎) dàxiónghǔ in Chinese and ōkumatora in Japanese.
Great! An animal that can eat you, beat you and bite you on land or in water! Should be Australian😅😅😅
Right, you KNOW that beast lives in Australia, snort!!
Load More Replies...Not quite. Needs more wings. But actually, it’s pretty close.
