Are Women Funnier Than Men?
It’s a question as old as time. There’s a stereotype rooted in history that women are less funny than men. This stereotype not only undermines the comedic talents of women but also limits the diversity of perspectives in the comedy landscape.
Women have faced challenges breaking into male-dominated fields, including comedy. However, many talented women have challenged and shattered these stereotypes, proving that humor knows no gender.
We believe there’s a funny bone in every person (pun intended). So if you have a comedic genius, let it shine, irrespective of the stereotypes.
Once when was 4 when I woke up and started crying, my mother asked if I had a bad dream and I said no, I woke up. Sometimes I still feel like crying when I wake up.
I had to explain why "All lives matter" is racist to a lovely woman who responded, "oh no! I just wanted the Somali refugees to know that they aren't being forgotten!" Sweetest woman ever!
I'm probably going to get s**t for this, but I don't see how this is supposed to end racism. It kinda feels like it's just turning racism the other way. Wouldn't it make more sense to just stop using terms like "black and white" and embrace true equality? Like, using phrases like "humans and people"? I really don't understand.
You can't just pretend that racism isn't alive and well today. Black lives matter because they have been historically under represented in every aspect of our society. It came about to highlight the inequity in police brutality specifically against people of color such as George Floyd. It's used to show the discrimination that Black people still face to this day. Until every single person can have open, honest, and uncomfortable conversations with people who don't look like you, racism will always be there. We have to educate ourselves and not pretend it doesn't exist. We cannot do nothing, you must be an active ally against intolerance and hate of any kind.

Load More Replies...People who say "Black lives matter" are trying to make "All lives matter" a true statement..
That's why I didn't understand the backlash to ALM. Aren't you agreeing with the statement?
Load More Replies...I respond with "Just because I say save the whales, doesnt mean I dont give a sh&t about the rest of the ocean. I want to save them all, but the whales are in dire straits right now, so how bout we focus on them".. Say that to someone and suddenly they think you're being racist to them. Try it, it's kinda fun to watch.
Gary- Let me preface my response by clarifying that having a multicultural family DOES NOT exclude you from being a racist. That being said, the fact that you think "black lives matter" only refers to killing says a lot...sadly. BP doesn't give enough space for a proper response, but in short, yes, all lives matter, but that's not what "black lives matter" is about.
I think it's should be "xxx" life matters. Regardless of race sex age. John smiths life matters. Make it about the person being a certain colour or sexual orientation shouldnt define you. Please take what I say with the kindness it's meant with. I'm trying so hard to understand all the hate in the world :(
I was worried for a second about where this was going. Relieved.
A house caught fire in my town, and the fire department turned out, but they didn't concentrate on putting out the fire. Instead they spread out equally all over the town because "all houses matter."
