In 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' (2019), Jake Gyllenhaal can be seen in the background of several scenes. He wasn't supposed to be there, and later admitted that he just enjoys stalking Tom Holland.
Lincoln (2012) grossed over $ 275,000,000 in movie theatres, which is ironic since Lincoln doesn't have a history of doing very well in theatres
I remember I worked at a movie theater when this movie came out. Our copy of the film caught fire in the projector.
This isn’t a fake fact though, it’s just a boring joke about Lincoln that’s really overused.
"Too soon"? "Too soon"?! It's been 156 years since Lincoln died! I don't think it's "too soon".
The producers had to pay Hollywood actors to act in Cats (2019) since real cats refused to be associated with the movie
If that's your cat in the pic I would say so, lol!
Load More Replies...Cats(real): meow, mraw, MEOWMOEWMOEMOW!!! (Translation: This thing is an ABOMINATION!!!!
Real cats have dignity. They wouldn't lower themselves to appear in that abomination.
"The idea is based off the subreddit that works along the same lines. In fact, very occasionally, I lift a post or two directly off the subreddit, in which case I credit the redditor in the comments. Over the last year, post-lockdown in my country, I had a lot of free time, so I had a splurge of ideas to the point where almost the whole page is original content by now," the founder of the 'Better Movie Details' Facebook page told Bored Panda.
"I only do this because I enjoy watching movies and trying to twist around trivia into satire is really fun, and I have a lot of free time on my hands right now. It is thus a temporary arrangement, and once I graduate from university in a few months, I assume there would be a drop in the frequency of posts. I do run some other, less popular pages based around a similar brand of satire," they mentioned the 594k-member-strong subreddit they post on from time to time.
Sam Raimi has confirmed that the median age of students at Peter Parker's high school in Spider-Man (2002) is 32 years.
But the production cost can be higher - minors can only work a certain amount of time on set per day, and not for a certain amount of time without a break (all together less time than adults can work), and they need onset tutors who also have to be paid.

In The Dark Knight (2008), Heath Ledger calls Maggie Gyllenhaal beautiful. This is a subtle throwback to Heath also finding her brother Jake beautiful.
"Honestly, I think the whole appeal of the original subreddit and this page is that movie trivia is works incredibly well in pop-culture, and anything so incredibly popular is bound to have an audience for its satirization. And since these are bite-sized pieces of satire they are also incredibly easy to consume. Personally, I do not think that I qualify into any category of incredibly passionate cinephiles. I just enjoy watching movies, always have, and that's pretty much it. That I can spin around something I find joy in and imbue humor into it is pretty much the only thing that drives the page."
In Queen's Gambit (2020), people are sometimes shown smiling or enjoying themselves while playing chess, which is an extremely inaccurate representation of my experience with chess
I mainly stare at the board, do random moves and pretend I now what i'm doing
I smile when I play chess. Coz I'm playing, but in my mind I'm building legos..
I'm sorry but I didn't order a glass of your opinion. (Jk Jk JK) (づ ̄ 3 ̄)づ
The way I grinned when I read “Queens Gambit” really goes to show how obsessed I am with the Maze Runner and Thomas Brodie-Sangster 😭 💀
Pixar often teases their upcoming projects in earlier released films.
Here, in Incredibles (2004), you can see them reference the yet-to-release Cars (2006).
The joke went right over your head, huh? The joke is that the picture shows regular cars, not the ones in the movie "Cars".

I don't see the race car or the hillbilly truck guy or anything else I can remember from the movie. Whats with the red circles too? Did they just literally start drawing circles around the other cars just to point out that there are other cars lol?
Ok nevermind I'm an idiot I just realized these are all supposed to be sarcastic..

Load More Replies...The founder is a huge fan of comedies (which probably explains why we got on so great with them). “So my favorites are definitely more on the humor side, more so since these are my comfort watches, Holy Grail/Life of Brian, What We Do in the Shadows, In Bruges, and Four Lions,” they shared their list of top movies. Personally, I’ve seen and loved all of them; except for Four Lions which is in my backlog. And we agreed that the Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End) is terrific!
The wood-chipper sequence in Fargo (1996) had to be shot in Quebec because pushing people into wood-chippers was illegal in USA at the time
wow! didn't know that scene was film in my town! it's true that we throw lot of people in the wood-chippers... that's how maple syrup was made... but... shhhhh... that's a secret
I understand the Illegality of pushing people into wood chippers. Was the movie using real people? 🤔😂😂
A prequel to Sixth Sense (1999), Fifth Sense, was cancelled after M Night Shyamalan was informed that being able to smell a dead person isn't particularly special
The sense of entitlement. Dead man! You there! Fetch me another scotch!

For his role in In Time (2011) Justin Timberlake refused to learn how to act
I liked Troll 2 but that doesn’t mean everyone in it was a good actor.
Load More Replies...I don't know about this movie, but I find him to be a good actor in general. Not amazing, but better than average. I don't know why people have the hate. I think they are just jealous that he is good looking, one of the best vocalist of the past couple of generations, and can act. He is one of the few celebrities I would actually like to be friends with. I'm not really a "fan" of this, I just think he would be cool to hang out with.
I never actually knew what this movie was called until now. I just saw it on cable and I was too bored to see what it was called.
With over 142k followers and more than 137k people liking the page, the ‘Better Movie Details’ Facebook page shows that it really knows how to draw in the crowds. As it turns out, sarcasm, irony, and tongue-in-cheek humor are fan favorites. And they said the internet doesn’t get sarcasm!
Star Wars uses frequent subtle references to fascism for the Empire's aesthetic. For example, Star Destroyers are shaped like pizza slices. Benito Mussolini, a famous fascist, was Italian.

Michael Caine keeps making appearances in Nolan's movies.
This is because Christopher Nolan pays him.
I found a Finding Nemo (2003) reference in Finding Dory (2016) while re-watching the latter today. Both movies are by the same studio.
My God, Sherlock! I wonder how I would have figured that one by myself.
Speaking of actual movie details (i.e. real ones that are fun in a whole different way), Bored Panda previously spoke about them with redditor Niiue, one of the moderators of the r/MovieDetails subreddit that boasts a whopping 2.2 million members.
Quentin Tarantino often supports struggling Hollywood actors and keeps recasting them in his movies if he ends up liking their performance; primary among such actors being Quentin Tarantino, who has appeared in 6 Tarantino films
Tarantino, as a filmmaker, is grossly overrated and over-adored. IMO. Downvote away.
So i call out a pedo and rape supporter and people downvote me and my comment is deleted?I can't believe that the woke mob will cancel everybody exept for people actually supporting rape and pedophilia.Just research it,is it so hard to google?I am gonna help you, just type "Tarantino on Howard Stern" and listen to his words about minor girls being drugged and raped.

Harry Melling was forced to regrow the hands and legs he had had cut off during the filming of The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) since he needed them to be able to play chess in Queen's Gambit (2020)
"Most details are definitely there for the audience to find, but I think a lot of it also just comes down to creative people wanting to have fun with their projects. Speaking from experience here (though I work on video games, not movies), it really is a lot of fun to add little Easter eggs and whatnot just for the hell of it," redditor Niiue told us earlier.
Despite his name, prolific actor Gary Oldman is only 16 years old

Too bad he refused to accept roles in "I, Nception" and "I, Nsomnia" and "I, Nterstellar" -- he must not get along well with Christopher Nolan.
"Besides the obvious choices like Pixar, I think Edgar Wright is another example of someone great at hiding details in his movies. Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim, and Hot Fuzz are the first ones that come to mind in this regard. You'll find that his movies tend to get featured on this subreddit a lot, which I think reflects his skill as a director,” they said.

In the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), the female's hair colour is a reference to the various stages of her relationship with Joel -
1. Green - The stage of their relationship when her hair is dyed green
2. Red and Orange - The stage of their relationship when her hair is dyed red and then subsequently orange
3. Blue - Blue stage
Omg that explains so much. I had thought the green hair was her oompa loompa cleanse phase *facepalm*
This reminds me of a 5 minute relationship that i had with some traffic lights.

Load More Replies...Moderator Niiue’s personal fave movie with hidden details is none other than Scott Pilgrim (and we absolutely love that they chose it because it’s one of our faves, too!). “I liked the way Scott Pilgrim had a recurring number motif tied to the Evil Exes. For those who aren't familiar with the story, the gist of it is that the protagonist has to fight his new girlfriend's six ex-boyfriends (and one ex-girlfriend) in order to continue their relationship, as a parody of the bosses fought in a typical video game,” the mod explained.
In Pan’s Labyrinth (2006), the shot of the pale man devouring fairies is a direct allusion to a painting I made last night

“In the scenes before each fight, there are numerous references to the corresponding Evil Ex; for instance, right before the fight with Lucas Lee, the main characters pass by two crossing signs with an X design, a reference to Lucas being the second Evil Ex. These kinds of references even continue after the Evil Ex in question is introduced, such as Lucas Lee saying (twice) that it will take ‘two minutes to kick [Scott's] ass,’ and later fighting Scott accompanied by his stunt doubles."
In Forrest Gump (1994), Lieutenant Dan uses a wheelchair to move around. This is a reference to the fact that he has trouble walking. Confirmed by the director in a Q&A.

Afterward, Scott's seen wearing a Fantastic Four shirt with an edited logo saying '4½.'"

In Edge of Tomorrow (2014), Tom Cruise is forced to relive the events of a single day, similar to how I spend 14th of February at home every year, re-watching Fight Club and Taxi Driver, stuffing my face with an unhealthy amount of pizza, and cursing happy couples on social media.

Orthodox Jews don't cut the hair around the ears.
As it turns out, Martin Scorsese has always made extremely unrealistic movies, as evident from the fact that unlike me, Travis in Taxi Driver (1976) does not immediately get blocked on asking a girl out for a date and a movie.
Well, it's all in *how* he asks. "Would you like to go out to see a movie, with me, sometime?" is a far cry from, say, "If you don't date me I will kill someone/thing". Not sure how Travis asks in the movie, but....
