This is called negging and some men will do this to try and manipulate a woman to undermine their confidence and try and get them to think they need his "approval" to have value. Pickup artists utilize this tactic all the time. Note him saying "If you make these changes I *might* consider going out with you again". Total twat indeed.

She explained that if you discern that someone is entitled, you have options. “You can decide to proceed in this relationship or to move on. It’s better to know sooner rather than later and it will help you increase your self-awareness as you continue the dating process and figure out who is the right partner for you.”
When asked how to interact with people who think they inherently deserve more than anyone else, Overstreet mentioned that they might be feeling some inadequacy with themselves. “It’s important that you provide boundaries with them. Treat them the same as others. You may even feel some compassion for them too.”

As a single mom I have NEVER asked dates to buy my daughter a meal??? Like, NEVER. I’ve been with my guy for 2 years now so, sometimes he does treat her. But it’s never expected. She MY responsibility as much as he sees her nearly as his own. But ultimately I’ll never expect him to pay her way through anything. She’s my responsibility although I’m very thankful and gracious to whatever he offers to do.

What a good digging twat. My now husband drove a damn red Honda that he was so embarrassed about because other girls made him feel bad. I didn’t even have a second thought about what he drove I was just so excited to go on our first date. We went to the Saturday morning market and walked around antique stores. He took me to work and brought me Starbucks. I was working late so he picked me up and got me chic fila for dinner so I wouldn’t have to cook. That was our FIRST date. The ex-girlfriend thing, I think she maybe meant no crazy exes, and maybe forgot to put it there. I've done (and do) the same thing. I don't see anything wrong with this ad besides that. No ex-wives was actually quite an important 'quality'(?) to me, as were no children, but I never put that in my ad because I was afraid somebody would take it the wrong way, like I never wanted to marry or have kids. I really don't think that Carmen's ad belongs on here at all.

Some random dude messaged me on Facebook saying hi. He looked decent enough so I replied. After a few short messages he asked for a photo (not nude). I said I won't do that. He asked again and I didn't answer because I was at work and really busy (which I had already told him in the first few messages). He then asked me if I was sleeping. I said no, I'm at work and can't really talk. He asked again for a photo. When I said I'm at work (for the nth time) he got really mad and started calling me names, like 10+ messages of ranting and name-calling, all because I wouldn't send a photo And then he blocked me lol

Honestly having tried it and found online dating to be awful, I don't know what's worse trying to hold one sided conversations with matches or some of these lovely examples above but clearly there seems to be a massive difference between tinder in Scotland and tinder in the states. Though to be fair it seems to work well for some and then for others its a massive algorithm scam designed to get cash from people who are lonely and looking to meet people. No excuses for some of the absolute melts who are on there though XD

I was talking to some guy, he seemed nice and polite but when we made plans to meet up for coffee he kept resheduling (work called him in, he forgot he already had an appointment etc) and suggesting he'd come by my place after work, late at night, instead. Told him I wasn't comfortable with that, he kept asking, so I told him look I have a lot going on right now, sorry but it's not happening. All is well, he seemed to take the hint. A couple of months later I got a message asking how I'm doing etc, I told him I'm not interested. Got a couple more messages, ignored him first then blocked him. Six months later, a friend request on Facebook. Ignored it. Two years later (just recently) another friend request out of nowhere. Idk if hes just a very polite stalker or just very hopeful, he's def been more presistent than is normal but not really so much that it's been a bother.
