I used to have this, though I didn't realize the glowing balls were for that. It's cool, you can change their color, and there's even a setting for the colors to fade to the next automatically. Recommended, I had this for a super long time.
Moderator Stuffed02 from r/DidntKnowIWantedThat told Bored Panda all about how their community first got started on Reddit. "DidntKnowIWantedThat got started when someone made a post on a big subreddit and people started commenting quite literally our future name," they said.
They told us that their subreddit is very open, as long as people follow some basic rules. "We allow all kinds of unusual products that you only realize the need for once you see it. Our only main rule issue is people trying to advertise their products. My message for them is: don’t. We always catch it. Other than that, there aren’t any major rule paradigms we have to deal with."
Mod Stuffed02 also opened up about what the year's been like for the subreddit. Surprisingly, it hasn't been as bad as you might think. "2020 has actually been a fun year for a lot of us on our team. Having to spend more time online means we get to see more products and be more dedicated to our users."
Meanwhile, another moderator, Metastasis_d pitched in and told us that the subreddit was started by "a spammer who wanted to use the subreddit to advertise products," however, the community outlasted them.

If you have a Roku remote that doesn't have a headphone jack (it's only the more expensive versions that do) you can download the RokuRemote app to your smart phone and listen using headphones that way. I use my bluetooth headphones and it works great.

For the past year and a half, the r/DidntKnowIWantedThat subreddit has been a testament to out-of-the-box thinking and just how creative humankind can get when it really wants to. We’ve had our minds blown since the first time we visited the subreddit and we keep getting surprised each time.
The community is also very inspiring for anyone who needs new ideas for their projects or business ventures. There’s nothing like seeing something weird but wonderful to shake things up when you’re deep inside a creative hole and need a leg-up to climb out.

I've seen one of these in the wild. It was nerve wrecking to see from a distance.
The NASP explains that people buy products based on their emotional needs or wants, and then justify their purchase logically later on. In other words, we make our decisions based on how we feel and later sprinkle some logical reasoning on top to make it look rational.
So selling products becomes less about appealing to ‘perfect,’ rationally thinking, economic consumers and more about seeing what their hearts truly want. Which is far tougher and way easier to do all at once, ironically.

I have an inflatable version with one door that can be set up to open like a normal door and stays closed with velcro. I have mobility problems do unzipping the "hinged" door once a day is a great help

On the one hand, getting to grips with emotional reasons for why people buy something is far more slippery and less concrete. On the other hand, we’re all people and we have full access to our own emotions and how we react to products.
As cheesy as it sounds, in order to sell your product, you first have to get to know yourself, the problems you need fixed, and how this relates to your inner emotional world. That’s how you create something that others didn’t know they wanted until they saw it and everything just clicked into place.

I've always wondered why the solution we have in Italy, ie a draining and storage rack inside a discrete cupboard above the sink, isn't more popular elsewhere (eg in the UK where I now live)?

I was going to mention the dish drying rack in a cupboard over the sink (though I know it as Finnish, as my fiance is Finnish, had no idea they were a thing in Italy too) and yea, I'm in the UK and I'd get one, put in.. but unfortunately, my home, like (seemingly in my experience) many homes in the UK, for some dumb reason the sink is always in front of the window... which means no drying cupboard for me and it also means I get blinded by the sun in the summer. :/

The wife of my 2nd cousin has a condition in which she can only see in black and white and shades of grey. This book would be lost on her which is a real shame. A friend got me two soaps along this line. One was frankincense and sandalwood, the other was cedar and leather. Both were awesome, and I'd be happy with a partner who smelled like either, regardless of gender.

It's a commercial cook's drawer, which is just a refrigerator with drawers instead of a door. It probably wouldn't get warm anyway, modern ovens are quite well insulated. I remember burning the crap out of my hand on the glass door of an oven as a child. I was amazed when I saw a new oven where the outside barely got warm at all while it was 425F inside.

Commercial cooks' drawers do not typically have an automatic defrost, so there's nothing to suck the moisture out of the air inside. They are usually programmed to defrost in the middle of the night when they would typically be empty.

Based on indiegogo the makers of this product has not fulfilled the preorders they accepted and continue to make excuses. They also have a history of taking backers funding on Kickstarter for other products without delivering. I’d advise, you do not give this company any money. The Kickstarter backers are looking at doing a class action suit.

If you’re in a place where line tension is 220v, then it really wouldn’t make any difference. But it’s seriously lacking the grounding and, as someone else said, it’s really prone to be overloaded.

If you turn the ball to see "below" the road, you'll see the road as if you were looking straight down. If you turn the ball to see "above" the sky, you'll see the sky as if you were looking straight up. It's basically a photo into EVERY direction from a single point of view - like in google street view when you stay at the same place and just "look" around you. It's that perspective, printed on a sphere.

Very cool! Someone creative obviously designed most of these! I dunno why, but seeing well-designed things always makes me very satisfied and content. Lovely!! Although I probably won't actually be buying any, these do give me some ideas for my birthday or other holidays! :D
