“Design Therapy”: 50 Clever Designs That Are As Innovative As They Are Visually Appealing, As Shared By This Instagram Page (New Pics)
If you're a regular Bored Panda reader, you've probably seen one of our pieces on bad design. (If not, you can go through a crash course here, here, and here). It's actually one of our favorite topics.
But every once in a while we feel like we need to equalize the scales, and show some good creations too. Roughly half a year ago, we turned to the Instagram account 'Design Therapy' to do so. And it worked like a charm — the social media startup is an excellent source for exploring innovation.
So now, since they've kept active and shared plenty of awesome content, we decided to do an update.
Continue scrolling to check out cool cat towers, glass chairs, toy pianos, and many more visionary products. The future is now, folks, and it's up to us to reinvent it the way we like it.

I have something like this, it's just a smaller door in my door. Super cute and my cats love it
I was thinking the same thing 😂 That's the first thing I saw. Not the door 🚪
Load More Replies...It looks like a neat way of letting your cats roam the house without leaving all the doors open for heating or air con. But, if I was in this house and didn't know about the kitty door and noticed it move when I closed the door behind me, I'd probably end up having a minor panic I'd broken the door somehow.
So why shut the door ? This scenario lets the pets in but not the children ? Am confused.
Probably the door establishes a zone barrier for heating and air conditioning. Children can be taught how to turn a door k**b, although I am in favor of lever-action door hardware.
Load More Replies...This cat door is fairly simple to do with panel doors. One caveat: most cats prefer visibility because it feels safer by allowing them to see where they're going.
True, but my cat won't use the cat door when he can't see what's on the other side, so plastic it is lol
Load More Replies...Unless it's to another room, lock it. Cats destroy the environment if they're allowed to roam outside.
yes sir, pet doors are a deal breaker because they are so ugly; this one is a deal starter, I would have it in a heartbeat
All I see is my cats, Rex Zimmerman and Stinky, fighting through the door at 3:24 in the morning, and I know I'd hate it.
Its an internal door though, the only one breaking in is the cat

Many comments on the practicality of these items. Let us not forget: they are art pieces - not for every use.
Thanks, came here to say that. Many of these are inspirational. I don’t like the ones that are just photoshopped / concept designs though (the ones that haven’t been built, not even as prototypes)
Load More Replies...I am Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
Load More Replies...Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should do something.
Enough with the AI art. It belongs in its own post, l guess. But l def prefer tangible art
Mostly interesting except the painted houses were just different colours. Still little boxes made of ticky tacky.
