35 Times People Got Shamed For Their Dumb Opinions By The ‘Delusional Takes’ Twitter Page
InterviewAs Justin Timberlake once famously put it in the classic “Cry Me a River”, some things are better left unsaid. Especially when it comes to sharing your thoughts online. However, not everybody knows where the limit is, which can be quite upsetting for the people that are oversharing but very entertaining for us.
The Twitter user @DelusionalPosting has made reveling in secondhand embarrassment easy by hand-picking the best of the worst and posting them for our enjoyment.
The delusional takes vary from very silly to very concerning. Some of them are simply insensitive or uneducated opinions that people should just keep to themselves. Others are statements that can be easily misinterpreted, especially out of context. And then there are the ones that are borderline criminal and make you want to quit the internet. The emotional rollercoaster is real.
We had a chat with Dr. Jessica Rabon, a licensed psychologist and the host of Psych Talk podcast. She explained why people overshare and gave tips on how to manage the urge to spill your guts online. But before we dive in, here are a few of the latest and the most cringe-inducing takes that the internet has to offer.

I'm sure those animals that PETA unnecessarily euthanised also cared about their lives... justiceformaya
Ever since I got to know Peta workers abducted a little girl's healthy chihuahua from their own front porch and killed it the same day, I can't take them seriously anymore. They don't give a sh*t about animals.
they freeze dogs in one of those giant industrial freezers like restaurants have to kill them. dont believe me watch penn and tellers show bullsh!t season 2 episode 1. they dive into the horrors of peta
Load More Replies...Imagine if everyone did this and got blocked by Peta! They would essentially kill the soapbox they stand on to annoy normal people
What's delusional here is the moron who thinks the fish have a choice about whether or not to eat other fish.
what's terrifying is that this guy whose name is 'manlet king' thinks that killing fifty people is a normal and simple happy family thing to do and should be normalised
Going into the past is only a fantasy for straight white males... anyone else would be a fool.
Sheer majority of people who "want to go back to the 1950s" only wants that for one reason. Yes, THAT reason.
Oh for Pete’s sake. It is okay to be a stay at home mom, we should not find this concept horrible. I am very grateful I was able to walk away from my exec job to take care of my autistic daughter who flourishes being homeschooled and was languishing in public school. I do own my own small business now, but am still able to be home much of the day. I like my role as a traditional wife and mom. I have far less anxiety now, I lost 50 pounds because I have time to exercise and make wholesome meals. I am a happier person all the way around. It’s what I want. I am mixed race, by the way, so my sole reason was my family, not some misguided notion I support segregation. If women want to work, I think that is great, too. Or if they have to work, I get it. No shame at all. I shouldn’t be shamed either.

We all crave attention, so it’s not surprising that we choose to express our opinions (delusional and not so much) online. No wonder oversharing is quite a common online phenomenon. A study published in 2022 that surveyed 410 undergrad students found that more than 90% of them have seen someone overshare online and over 70% have unknowingly done it themselves.
We asked Dr. Rabon how oversharing in real life differs from doing it online, and it seems that there are several components that make it more common when sitting behind a keyboard. Firstly, social media encourages you to be generous with personal information. “We are influenced by what we see other people sharing and feel the need to share as well,” Dr. Rabon told Bored Panda.

Interestingly, some studies in Africa did show circumcision to have a protective factor against HIV (I have no idea what controls were taken for other variables, though, so I don’t consider these studies to be support for universal circumcision, just an interesting bit of trivia)
I don’t know why I am being downvoted for simply mentioning an interesting piece of research that exists. Downvoting is for spam, not for things you just don’t like the sound of. It wasn’t my research.
Load More Replies...Religious b******t. We have a foreskin for a reason...to protect the sensitive glans of the penis, to prevent the drying out of the glans and to prevent the formation of calluses on the glans and frenum which can lead to loss of sensitivity. And what really irks me about religious bs around circumcision is the fact they will say we are made in god's image but need to be circumcised. What? It's child mutilation and in the case of some religions where the practitioner does it and then fellates the baby, sucking the blood from the wound, it's molestation. PERIOD. LET GROWN MEN MAKE THAT DECISION FOR THEMSELVES.
Some circumcision is made not for religious purposes, but for health purposes. I am circumcised and do not consider myself, in fact, mutated.
Load More Replies...When I don't know what I'm talking about, I do it with all my strength.

Ok, I’ll get downvoted but what do you call the bit of useless skin at the end of a p*nis? A man.
Some people say it looks bigger, but I think that's just something they tell newborns
Another thing that plays a part in it is detachment and immediate consequences. “Sharing a lot of personal details one-on-one is an intimate and, can be, an anxiety-provoking situation. However, when we post a status update, story, or video, <…> we are simultaneously talking to everyone and nobody at the same time. We don't have to see the facial expressions or reactions of others when we share, like we do in person, which lessens the feelings of awkwardness or anxiety.”
Add instant gratification provided by likes, comments, and shares and sprinkle some anonymity on top, and you have quite an appealing social concoction.
With that much stupidity you'd think they'd spontaneously combust.

When news reporter Gareth Jones leaked the story of the Holodomor Genocide to the world, he was suddenly murdered in Mongolia. Can't think why...
I just double checked this. Stalin killed 3 or 4 times as many people as Hitler. I'm not giving Hitler a pass. Don't read it that way.

According to Dr. Rabon, in some cases, people overshare to soothe negative emotions, too. For example, anxious people tend to seek reassurance from others and they may overshare on social media to get it. They also may be more likely to stay on top of the latest trends or news as they might suffer from the fear of missing out.
Loneliness may also be responsible for oversharing. “Online platforms allow for immediate feedback, says Dr. Rabon. If people are lonely and seeking connection, they may be more likely to overshare online <…> to feel less alone.”

The article was shown to be written by AI as medium.com can’t seem to be bothered researching anything. Isaac Butterfield, an Australian comedian, did the same thing by plugging in the phrase: ‘why desks are racist’ and it delivered an article!!
So, is oversharing all bad? Dr. Rabon says that there are some positives. “Depending on what is shared, one potential benefit of sharing personal information is increased connections with others online who are similar to you. Many people who form relationships with others online do so by sharing about themselves to make connections.”
She also adds that for individuals that are struggling with their mental health, sharing their experiences online might provide support that they need. That can be especially important if they are hesitant to talk about their struggles in person.
I mean, i get you, but also it's kinda patronizing to get corrected on your grammar when you're trying to have a legit conversation and in a non-native language.
Load More Replies...Dismissing someone’s point of view because of their poor use of language or their poor grammar, misuse of words or limited lexicon is to diminish their value because of their education or ability to learn, that’s a very real issue. To correct someone, in an open and helpful manner is to give them the opportunity empower themselves, you should acknowledge their point and continue to communicate with them, poor language skills are not a reason to dismiss someone’s viewpoint.
Agree, but the ultimate in racism is the belief people can’t be educated due to their heritage so don’t make them feel bad for it. The soft bigotry of low expectations is very, very real and it rears its ugly head on the daily. Here, there and everywhere.

Grammar and spelling correction could potentially be all those things. However I would argue that context does matter in making that judgement. English teachers in America, at least when I grew up, do tend to teach grammar in a prescriptive manner, ie it should be said and written this way. There’s pros and cons to that. I can appreciate that anyone who doesn’t naturally share the “proper” way of communicating wouldn’t enjoy getting told they’re doing it wrong. I personally prefer the linguists view of dialects, descriptive with no judgements.
Pretty sure that the cops shooting a man dead was a much bigger factor in this Macron.
so the simple answer is ban the cops from watching movies and playing vdeo games.
Mercedes-Benz with Polish plates speeding through a bus lane gets pulled over. Kid driving is known to police, has no license and tries to drive away during the stop and then gets shot. Rioters shoot rockets at the wife and children of one of the mayors when they try to escape their home that the rioters were attacking. Everyone involved sucks here except the wife and kids.
What part of that justifies an extrajudicial death penalty? Driving a Mercedes-Benz? Polish plates? Speeding? Speeding through a bus lane specifically? Being known to police? Having no license? Trying to drive away? Which one of those is a capital crime?

Hold up one moment. God, I can't believe I'm defending this because I HATE false claims of racism. But she's only expressing a FEELING that she can't explain. And I'm going to possibly explain it. I can actually see how all that iron equipment in a very Victorian looking room reminds someone vaguely of the slave trade. Does that mean that person is at all racist, or should avoid that sort of decor because someone else might get a strange racist vibe? Of course not. And that's an important consideration: just because something makes you think of racism doesn't make it inherently racist.
I applaud you for your comment despite your concern about the possibility of appearing to defend something you're against (which I think you successfully avoided). And good points.
Load More Replies...Can explain. If the only tool you want to use is a hammer, you tend to see everything as a nail.
I'll try to explain: the decor may be associated with European upper class; the art model in one of the photos appears to be white. The decor could also be viewed as classist and sexist. There may be other people who can debunk my guess (maybe an athlete of non-European descent who likes wood paneling and Graeco-Roman sculpture).
Yes, I already noted how someone could pick up a racist vibe. But it's also important to note that if the Austrian Alps make me think of Hitler, it doesn't mean that the Austrian Alps are anti-semitic.
Load More Replies...I kind of understand this one. It's clearly inspired by late 1800's early 1900's European decor, a time when colonialism was at its peak. It doesn't mean the person who likes this decor is racist, though.
Ugh, people who want to use the race card in a situation that has absolutely nothing to do with race just bc they think they can.
It looks like a club from the 1900s that neither she not I would be allowed to enter. So I kinda get it.
However, Dr. Rabon is quick to point out that the negatives tend to outweigh the positives. According to her, the biggest risk people take when oversharing is safety: “People share all kinds of personal information online, including things that could be potential passwords, their current location, information about their kids, or venting posts about their relationship. It only takes that information getting into the hands of the wrong person to risk your safety.”
Then there’s a risk of losing your job because of mentioning confidential information, venting about your boss, or admitting to doing things you weren’t supposed to be doing. Dr. Rabon also adds that oversharing can have social consequences as well, such as rumors being spread, gossip, or social isolation.
If you have pictures of grown a*s men playing fake soldier (and who have never been one) and who think they need a gun to stay safe at a library, send me a picture so i have something to point and laugh at, you pathetic f***s. Your hobby is a coping mechanism for your crippling insecurity.

The good thing is that there are ways to curb your need to broadcast your life. As oversharing often stems from powerful emotions such as anger or sadness, Dr. Rabon suggests stepping away from the phone before making your opinions public: “One strategy I like to use is making the post/video but saving it as a draft and then going back the next day and deciding if it is something I still want to post. If it is not, once I have calmed down, I will delete it and know that the post was motivated by emotions, not logic.”
Another strategy is asking yourself "Would I be okay with my grandma, boss, or [insert any person here] seeing this post?" If not, then maybe you reconsider posting it. If you notice patterns of oversharing, you can also limit your social media usage as research suggests that people who spend more time on social media are more likely to overshare.
The marriage rate has dropped nearly 60% in 50 years, so more men are safely unmarried. Should we aim for 100%?
Not-so-fun fun fact: The U.S. government reports lump women killed by boyfriends, ex-lovers and husbands together, which the media all too often reports as women killed by their "husbands." But women are nine times more likely to be killed by a live-in lover if they are NOT married to that lover.

I'm Israeli and this statement is wildly inaccurate. Dr. Rabon also encourages people to do some self-reflection on why they want to post what they’re posting. Is it because it's about something that’s important for them, something they are passionate about and want to share with friends and family? Or are they sharing because you are upset, hurt, angry, or seeking validation? If it is the latter, then maybe it’s something to keep to yourself.
So, check in with yourself next time you type up a tweet, or you might find your opinions amplified on the @DelusionalPosting feed.
I've been a full-time carer for my husband for 30+ years. Had to give up a much-loved job, lost a lot of friends, financial problems, bla bla bla. In my long years I've met people who stood by their loved one, period. I've met people whose attitude was "Hell no, I didn't sign up for this, I'm out". I've met people who were mentally driven into the ground by the self-obsessed, egocentric and self-pitying attitude of the sick person and I've met people who tried, tried hard, found they were spiralling into depression and had to step back in order to simply hold on to their sanity and life. Please, when confronted with a story with a heading like this, keep an open mind and ponder whether you're required to set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm and have mercy.
Walk a mile in their shoes. The headline combination is an abridged version of a complex relationship and won’t come close to detailing the intricate nature of how their lives worked. As you rightly say ‘set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm’. Folk need to learn how to be more kind.

Breast feeding has existed for much longer than politics. The difference between the 2 is that even though they both involve t*ts, one set is hated and the other feeds the baby
Women have been breastfeeding since even before humankind started walking upright. It pisses me off to see people politicizing normal practices.
In an atmosphere of trying to encourage breast-feeding, this idiocy takes some beating.
It's only encouraged in private. In public, breast feeding is considered indecent.

If I had to guess, this article is about how common it is for a very specific group of extremely right leaning folks to not let anything "unnatural" near their kid (ie, plastic toys, baby formula, vaccines, etc). If it's anything like the farming/homesteading, it IS irritating. You try to search for veggie growing instructions or how to build a well and then bam, all your recommendations are for crazy forest people who think women should be in the kitchen all day and never not pregnant while the husband only ever works and drinks🤦

Be/act as ignorant as you want, but don't presume to know what the rest of us think or feel.
The more probable explanation is that people hate other people who drive/ride like a**holes. Exactly what vehicle they're using is irrelevant. (For that matter, pedestrians can be a**holes too.)
I HATE when I can't get down a road because a bunch of cyclists are riding in a peloton. They are not in a bike race! Going 12 mph and blocking all cars is NOT sharing the road...
Load More Replies...A lot of the US was built for cars, which could explain the hatred of cyclists as per the article. But when you take into account the same hatred in the UK, which wasn't built for cars, maybe it's just that cyclists can be d***s who think the rules of the road don't apply to them?
When I'm on my bike, you're the kind of driver I have to be wary of.
Load More Replies...Hmm, they might have a little bit of a point. Obviously there are bicyclists who drive dangerously, and there are good points to be made. But there are also quite some people whose opinion seems to be "how dare bicyclists ride here on MY road, that belongs to me as a car driver, and inconvenience me. When you could just as well say: "these are OUR SHARED roads, that belongs to both car drivers and bicyclists, and we as car drivers inconvenience them just as much as they inconvenience us".
I have no objection to cyclist being on the road when there isn't a bycycle path it's incovenient with the narrow roads we have in britain but not impossible. But as a responce to your "OUR SHARED roads" in the uk there is a car/motorcycle tax for upkeep of the roads, there is no bicycle tax.
Load More Replies...Not delusional if you have ever been in the position of someone toying with your life, and in this case killing someone.
As a cyclist, I actually agree. I've lost count of the number of times drivers have deliberately driven too close to me. Presumably, for a laugh or to give me a fright.
Yes... After I wouldn't let them squeeze by me during oncoming traffic they obviously felt emasculated and thus had to force me to stop by cutting me off slowly and laughing at me. ... Another guy drove way too close on an otherwise broad empty road to us, then briefly stopped to aggressively point at the pedestrian sidewalk and speed off. That one especially stayed in mind because A. I was still a young teen at the time and having a car pass you by from behind close enough that you could touch it is terrifying and B. The bicycle path had explicitly been led down onto the road previously... Those cases stayed especially in mind because they were not just a combination of impatience and dangerous thoughtlessness, but active maliciousness.
Load More Replies...The makers of autos spread propaganda that streets are for cars, not people. People have made a political issue out of cycling.
When everything is racist, nothing is. I am multiracial and these things make me insane. It diminishes the times real racism occurs, it dilutes the problem and moreover, it makes it appear as if nothing will resolve or improve. It isn’t helping. Calling out racists (real ones) loudly and letting them wear a cone of shame is necessary. Finding racism in every corner is counter productive.
They don't call hate of bicyclists racist. And they are also not saying that it is the same. They are saying that it is coming from the same place: Having to share your space (your "privilege") with people you see as less than yourself or simply as different, and thus they don't have any rights to what you think is exclusively yours. Using infrastructure and your safety being regarded by fellow infrastructure users in this case. Calling someone out for getting too close to a bicyclists (with a car) is important for improving traffic safety for everyone (not just the people in metal boxes), but won't do anything for or against racism, because it obviously isn't race related prejudice. But it IS a lack of regard for a fellow human being based on the fact that they are using a smaller, more vulnerable vehicle.
Load More Replies...I wish car drivers would give bicyclists more room given the danger, not to mention how frightening it is to be crowded by a car when you're on a bike. I wish bicyclists would break the rules of the road only when it doesn't impact the rights of a car driver, even if it means more leg work. I'm never upset about a bicyclist breaking rules when it doesn't impact others, but it is annoying when it does, since the same rights come the same responsibilities.
If you want to learn quickly what sort of a******s your neighbors are, take up cycling.

this is literally the scientific term for the "attracted to females" part, just without specifying what YOU are as part of it. it's not made up or new.
Load More Replies...Of course. This is the point of view of the "target", instead of the source. Non-binaries, lesbians, heterosexual men... all them are included in the gynosexual sphere. So, when a woman says "I like girls", and a man replies "I like girls, too", they are affirming their gynosexuality.
Let’s get something straight (pun intended): Heterosexual: guy who likes girls! Lesbian: girl who likes girls! Gynesexual: attraction to femininity (as in feminine women, men, etc)
Exactly. Also useful as a term for a non-binary person who is attracted to women.

I don't feel like sharing my interest either so I don't. Some people find it helpful to discuss their interests so they do. Both of these are ok.
Load More Replies...It sounds like nonsense at first, but this is actually not a bad idea. Because currently, if you want to refer to people who love women, there's a whole list: heterosexual men, lesbian women, nonbinary/agender people who love women, certain intersex people who love women. It can be convenient to have 1 word for all of them. It also eliminates the confusion when you're talking about transgender people: if you're talking about a transgender man way before his transition or even before he realized his identity and you say he was straight, do you mean this person liked men or women back then? A lot of people get confused about that. Also, words like straight and gay/lesbian don't really work for people who don't fit into the category men or women: what is the 'opposite sex' if you're not on one of the opposite sides yourself, like nonbinary, agender, certain intersex people like people with true hermaphroditism, etc.?
Also, it takes away the discussion about transgender people: if you say you're attracted to women, there's disagreement about whether that includes transwomen or not. If I understand correctly, the term gynosexual means attracted to people who appear feminine, regardless of all the technical details. Which makes more sense to me: most of us are attracted to what someone looks like, right? I think attraction is based more on whether someone looks like a woman, and not so much on whether someone is biologically a woman, identifies as a woman, is legally a woman, etc.

Load More Replies...Actually " literally everybody " knows that no one deserves to be subject to persecution, segregation, or massacres based on something they can't control.
I had to suffer, so you have to suffer, whether you're guilty or not. That's like abusing your children because your parents abused you.
These people are the reason why the rest of us aren’t taken seriously
So, inflicting what someone else suffered from on others because you are widely ignored is acceptable? You don't think that it makes you just as bad or worse to copy than the generation that did those atrocities and have pretty much all died that you revile on people who mostly do not hold the same views or beliefs? Maybe you should be placed in a psyche ward and evaluated until you are considered safe to interact with
As a member of a persecuted minority (gay), I can roundly say that what most people who get treated like that want is for NOBODY to be treated that way.
I would love it if everyone were persecuted, segregated, and massacred at the same rate, if that rate was zero. Until it is, I'll just stick with my original plan of not persecuting, segregating, or massacre-ing anyone. Seems to have the same effect.

I was admitted 2.5 weeks before my due date due to sudden high blood pressure and really really bad headache (thankfully was not preeclampsia). My son was born 2 days later and we were discharged 2 days after that. About 2 weeks after we got home, DCF knocks on my door saying his umbilical cord blood tested positive for something I can't even remember the name of. After weeks of getting records from OB/GYN, hospital triage, labor & delivery, etc. they finally found it was a medication given to me when I was admitted for the headache/high blood pressure that was incorrectly recorded in my chart. They said it commonly shows up in drug tests, but the hospital literally reported me to DCF because of their own mistake. I spent months with hospital admin because they were afraid I was going to sue them over the whole ordeal. And now there will always be a record of this investigation through someone else's mistake. It was terrifying knowing I had done zero drugs, having the state investigating me, doing home inspections, scrutinizing how I cared for my newborn, everything about my life. I can't imagine being so cavalier about "oiud" during pregnancy and my child's life.
This sounds incredibly dystopian. In Germany nobody is allowed to do drug tests on a newborn/umbilical/woman-in-laboir without their knowing or consent. You would need a court order and then some
Load More Replies...The goal (in being part of the life of a child) is not whether YOU can "make it through the day." It's not about you at all! How are emotions processed? I could go on, and we haven't even talked about safety! Your high is not worth a kid's life, whether it's by a horrible accident or by long-term neglect. A kid doesn't need an adult, caring for him, to be stoned. He needs an adult who's invested in him. So do that.

Assisted suicide should be available to anyone requiring it, homeless or not.
My aunt actually passed away this morning on MAID. She was suffering and needed it, so I’m grateful she could go out with dignity and on her own choice
Load More Replies...While I agree with MAID in circumstances of terminal illness, homelessness is NOT terminal, and HAS a cure - give them a home. Even saying they should be able to choose to die because their life is so miserable they want to check out is cold, selfish, and downright evil. Giving them a home would solve half their problems and improve their lives 100% - they shouldn't be told "choose to die because we are too selfish to house you".
The homeless population of Canada is mostly mentally ill. The government won't help them, so they end up on the streets. Even giving them a home wouldn't be enough, they need access to medication and treatment.
Load More Replies...I personally believe assisted suicide should be considered as a form of medical care. If your life has been designed as terminal because of a medical problem, you should have the right to choose how you die. Not sure I agree with the poverty angle unless that person has been medically diagnosed as terminal. Just being poor and/or homeless is NOT a good reason! How about lifting them out of poverty, giving them a real chance to live!?!
IMHO, Assisted suicide should be totally legal with ONE requirement. Serious professional counseling 1st. For both the patient and the family.
i thought the Canadians were friendly people, now they wanna off their Homeless people
Ok what does MAID mean I tried googling and it just said a woman that works doing domestic chores.
Medical assistance in dying. It's letting people have control over when they've had enough of living, while providing a safe environment and professional assistance for it. Unaliving minus the stress and mess.

The procedure itself can be reversed, but the chance of actually getting someone pregnant afterwards is pretty small. Getting a vasectomy if you're unsure if you want to have kids later, is a bad idea.
Load More Replies...Less wage slaves and poverty would be my first guess. But huge benefit of such practice would be in much less unwanted children and lives ruined by having them.
Load More Replies...And hopefully the human race will die off and no one has to read this kind of bullsh*t anymore
Really bad idea. The procedure itself can be reversed, but the chances of actually getting someone pregnant afterwards are only around 50%. It depends on how long ago the vasectomy was: if it was less than 3 years ago the chance is 76%, if it's over 15 years the chance is only 30%. The success rate for the reversal procedure and the success rate for getting someone pregnant, are two completely different things. Many people are unaware of this, and think that the high success rate for the procedure itself (86%, ranging from 97% if less than 3 years ago to 71% if more than 15 years ago), mean there is a high success rate for impregnation, but that is not what that number means. You should not have a vasectomy if you're unsure whether you might want kids someday. Also, about 5% of men will get chronic pain in their testicles. If you give all boys a mandatory vasectomy, imagine how many boys will have chronic pain that they didn't choose to have and how many can never have kids...
Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that vasectomies exist. My boyfriend and I decided my boyfriend would get one, and I am super happy that we did that, it was a great choice for us! But there is a lot of misinformation online, people always perpetuate nonsense about it being completely reversible. When we started looking into vasectomy as an option for us, I was really surprised when I looked at actual information from hospitals and scientific research, that it is soooo much less reversible than what people make it out to be.

Also there are studies finding that people with higher sexual partner numbers have higher rates of depression (https://bmcpublichealth.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12889-022-14823-0#:~:text=Poor%20mental%20health%2C%20high%20depression,%25%20CI%201.01%20to%201.71).)
Don't know why you got down voted..people are allowed preferences. Also it's really NOT the same thing with trans people.
Load More Replies...I'm gonna preface this by saying I would never *refuse* to date someone because of their ethnicity. But I do have a preference towards certain facial features that are found more predominantly in white/Middle Eastern/Indian people. I will naturally find those people more attractive over people who don't have those features. And imo if you don't find someone physically attractive, it's OK (and probably preferable) not to date them.
No we just like who we like. I like people for who they are, not what they look like. Your an idiot and one of a few reasons why I'm genuinely scared of where society is heading.
Genital preference is a thing?? I'm trans and I know this, it isn't transohobic to have sexual preferences, although you definitely shouldn't just reject someone because they're trans, if sexual preference isn't a part of it. Also, sometimes people's types are just more feminine/masculine looking than trans people tend to be. I know that I tend to be more attracted to trans guys in general, that doesn't make me like cisphobic or something
Yeah....... Let's not guilt trip people into dating people they are not interested in. You owe nobody sexual attention, and you owe nobody a reason or apology for not being interested in dating them... Sexual preference is not a business transaction. The number of people I'd want to date is tiny compared to the world population, and factors such as proximity, shared interests or shared values probably makes that group not representative at all of the wide variety of people that live on this planet.🌍 Sure, racial biasses are important to fight, but not in this way
so im a racist if im married to a white woman and reject a black woman hitting on me in a bar?
Well, what if a black person doesn’t have morals? That way, you wouldn’t be dating them just for that sole reason, and NOT because of race. The people that tolerate this dumbass woman are the real heroes.
“Feminist” version of the word “woman” (though I’ve not seen it polled quite that way before). The idea was to give women their own word not just one that defines the position with the “standard”, man.

Considering the sheer volume of porn out there. I am going to guess that there is probably a pornstar that looks like basically anyone.
It's how radfems spell "woman" so it doesn't include "man". Just a disclaimer: radfems are NOT feminist in any shape and form and true feminists loathe them just like anyone else.

please don't normalise having sex with animals ok because it can be really damaging to their mental health and they can't consent, it's classified as animal abuse
Hard nope on "Zoosexuality". It's not part of queer, it's not a kink, it's not love. Animals cannot consent, and without consent, it's not love, it's just abuse. It's a deviant sexual attraction, and acting on it is criminal and immoral. If you are experiencing sexual attraction to animals, seek help, not validation.
I'd bet my socks that this is actually a strawman account of some alt-right chud trying to portray LGBT+ people as amoral deviants.
Zoosexual makes we want to shoot myself. As a gay man, I am disgusted by the current state of the LGBTQ community.
I think a lot of people are missing the point of the OP here. He (assuming) is anti-LGBTQ and is making an absurd post to invalidate queer people. Right wing extremists often equate e.g. same sex marriage with "marrying my duck". And he can f*ck right off...
Oh seriously f*ck off. Had it up to here with this nonsense. I'm a gay woman and I don't belong to this "community". I am also not trans so don't put me in the same group. I am an individual woman and proud to be....WE DONT WANT LABELS!! WE WANT TO BE EQUAL!! We are equal...what more do we need exactly??? Don't want labels??? She was born in Alexandria, of Macedonian-Greek ancestry. She likely looked…Greek.
There’s no evidence that Cleopatra was racially black, but we honestly don’t know what her skin colour was. I vote green 👽
Load More Replies...Not only was she of European origin, and a descendant of the Greek colonizers of Egypt, but Egyptians are genetically Middle Eastern. They have actually sequenced DNA from mummies and other ancient Egyptians, and they were Middle Eastern, not sub-Saharan African, at least those from Lower Egypt. There was some Sub-Saharan admixture in Upper Egypt, and the Nubians as well as the Ethiopians/Sudanese are a Middle Eastern + Sub-Saharan mixture.
Not sure if this has been followed up on, but some years ago I read that there was some evidence Arsinoe was of mixed Greek-African descent. I figured her sister Cleopatra was as well. It makes sense that the Ptolemies would secure their hold by making marital alliances with the existing Egyptian aristocracy, which would largely be Upper Egyptian and therefore have African heritage.
The thing that people forget is that areas in ancient times did not necessarily consist of the same racial make up of those in the modern ages. Africans traveled the globe and reproduced very very frequently in European and other areas. So, the appearance of ancient Greeks may not be what you see when you look at modern Greeks.
The Greeks who colonized Egypt were freshly out of Greece, and had no African admixture. You are confusing the very diverse Roman Empire with the very Greek Ptolemies. Sub-Saharan Africans did not travel much down the Nile or upr the Red Sea. Only the extensive trade routes of Roman Empire brought a large number of Africans into the Mediterranean basin.

Why would any group want to claim Cleopatra for their own? When she ascended the throne, Egypt was the mightiest power in the easter Mediterranean. When she left it, Egypt was a province of Rome.
There's "comedic" and then there's "shoehorning Megan Thee Stallion into an episode and getting your badly CG'd star to twerk with her."
I really enjoyed Captain Marvel looking forward to the second one, hope they make a Black Widow 2 with Florence Pugh and they can make another dozen movies with someone as complex as the Scarlett Witch. I watched Tatiana Maslany in Ophan Black so was really looking forward to She Hulk. It was bad, this wasn't a female character to look up to, this was a straight up horrible person. She wasn't funny and insulting half your audience didn't get a message across, because by then I'd turned it off.
Because if they followed the way she hulk was supposed to be, then it wouldn't be seen as an insult to Stan Lee
She's exactly the way She-Hulk is IN THE COMICS. The irony coming from someone with a Deadpool PFP.

Not delusional, just an unpopular opinion (although I agree, I hate too much sun as well)
I completely understand this person. I know the sun is necessary for life itself, but it's just usually too hot and bright for me. And in summer, I tend to get depressed instead of feeling happy like most other people seem to.
Sad fact: In certain areas, poor people like the summer as it reduces their heating bills.
I mean, if the sun goes supernova in five eons, THEN there’s a reason to hate it.

Interesting. Where I live, 30 Celsius would be an extremely hot day, so we have air conditioning on when it’s over 20 Celsius. But, we only have an AC unit downstairs, and only use it during about 4-5 months out of the year. It also does tend to be incredibly humid here in summer—we rarely get hot days with no humidity. So I think it really just depends on where you live.
Load More Replies...I live in the southeast in the U.S. In the summer it can be 86° at 6am, with 60% or higher humidity. My ac is on until October or November. I have no choice. It sucks, but I can't handle cold winters and cannot afford to be a snowbird.
If I'm right, that's approximately 90F. Here in south Texas, we get that as early as end of April/beginning of May. It's accompanied by 90 to 100% humidity, making it feel 10 to 15 degrees hotter. People DIE from this without AC every year. AC is necessary in many places. And if it is that hot that early in the year, the rest of summer will be worse, as it is right now. Today it was 98, but felt like 113 according to the experts. Imagine that with no AC!
This sounds like the grid itself is the problem. Our summers are getting worse. The grids need to be improved. Most places are using the same tech from 50 years ago or more. The casing around thick cables in my area melts in the sun now and they have to shut off all public transportation. Many pets cannot be in conditions over 75 as well. Not every individual can tolerate heat.
Idiot. 30º in the Arizona desert is not the same thing as 30º in the humid deciduous forest of Massachusetts. You're also barking up the wrong tree. Instead of bîtching about people wanting to be comfortable in their own homes, why don't you do something about that coal-fired power station and demand renewable energy, which is limitless and clean. Your opinion is like that of the person who blames people on food stamps while giant corporations aren't paying taxes.
Here - 90 degree's (or 30ish Celsius) 60% humidity, no breeze and no electricity. our neighbors dog died due to the heat (they were idiots but that is besides the point). Fans and such can only do so much. I agree, use windows and nature as much as possible, but banning the use of A/C is ridiculous. BTW Start to go after the corporations/ rich that are causing 90% of the the pollution and putting 100% of the blame on the "citizens". How many of you have taken a private jet to travel under 100 miles? or to go shopping? Place the blame where it truly belongs.

Emulation is perfectly legal, even tested in court against Sony and enshrined into law (in the US) in the actual DMCA, for the purposes of maintaining software functionality. It is only illegal to download ROMs/disk images of games you don't already own or system software for a console/platform you do not own. Technically you should make your own ROMs/disk images from the software you own and dump the system software directly from your devices, but downloading them instead ends up with identical output/results. Personally, I imaged all my own PS2 disks and downloaded PS2 bios files that match all three PS2 models I own, out of convenience. Now I can play all my legally owned PS2 games at 4k via PCSX2 on my PC and it is glorious!
Game developers who don't release a demo should be fined or sent to jail. If you want $60+ for a game, I want to know I like the game before I commit to purchase it. Also imbecile like this doesn't think of retro games that you can't buy, so only way to play them is to go for ROMs. GTA 5, yeah go buy it. GTA 1 that you can't buy anywhere -- Rom away!
Translation: I can afford the exorbitant costs of discontinued games and systems that companies abandoned to time, so that makes me morally better than you.

But, the biggest PlayStation exclusive franchises are Gran Turismo#1, Uncharted#2, and Ratchet & Clank#3. God of War is #4, the other 2 pictured are not even in the top 5 (The last of us #10, Horizon*, currently not even in top 20). *Bad release timing for both Horizon games really set them back, which is a shame because they have pretty good gameplay and good storytelling.
It says their best three franchises...doesn't mean it's good...just that they are the best of what they have...just sayin...no offense if you like them.
It's debatable that these are the big three franchises of Sony to begin with (Aside from God Of War). Uncharted is arguably bigger than Horizon, and they do have publishing rights to some Marvel games, notably Spider-Man and Wolverine, and aside from Wolverine not being released, the two Spider-Man games were massive successes.
