You should try to correct that behavior though its unlikely to work. Another way of doing it is to make sure he hears you say thing like "I know he's an a*****e and we are so proud you are a good person who doesn't do things like that".

And that brother was also probably a bully to as many guys as he could be. Bullies like that end up being those bad bosses we have all had to deal with. They end up being the police who beat up innocent minorities. They end up being bad teachers who every student dislikes.

A big shout out to people who teach like this! This impacts kids/youngsters profoundly and makes the learning experience both positive and exciting. We need more of these people :)

Yup, on to the next level. In all seriousness, though, in my world, if someone gives me something that bears a positive significance to them, regardless of whether it aligns with my persuasions or not, I feel grateful and thank them. It's their way of showing kindness, gratitude and care. That's what counts, not the item itself. It's of significance to them, as should their act be to you.

Mildly autistic man here. Let me just say that being publicly acknowledged and accepted as a robot, with no expectations that I try to act human, is my idea of perfection in life.

Unfortunately the number that the text appears to come from is usually spoofed so doing this won't actually affect the scammers, you're just victimising some innocent person with no connection to the scammers

I live on the Isle of Wight (a little island off the south coast of England) and people over here have a ridiculously distorted sense of distance. A couple of weeks ago, I travelled to a place about 40 minutes' drive away, and the people I was visiting were amazed and impressed by my strength and determination in making such an epic journey. Jokes were made about needing my passport. I was, and remain, bewildered.
