Yes, yes you do! The basics are quite simple, and yet you can get some pretty complex patterns too. Plus you can embellish with beads, French knots, backstitching, metallic or glow-in-the-dark thread, different fabrics to stitch on. You can even buy waste canvas (disposable fabric) to cross stitch on clothing.
I LOVE waste fabric. I've made so many shirts for friends and family using it. Makes life soooo much easier!!!!
Fantastic selection of some talented crafty people. The larger ones require ludicrous dedication and patience.
