That's exactly what London blogger Olivia Jackson did, starting the page @clothesmyboyfriendhates, with over 60K followers loving the outfits she wears that her boyfriend just can't stand.

"My inspiration came from my boyfriend's sarcastic comments about my outfits, but my willingness to wear them anyway, and him still loving me anyway," Olivia told Bored Panda. "I wanted to, and still aim to, empower women to dress for themselves rather for others around them.
Because couples don't always have to agree on everything, it's how you deal with your differences that is key to a long-lasting relationship. Jackson and her boyfriend clearly have a matching sense of humor and don't take themselves too seriously – this really helps!
"Humour definitely plays a big part!" she said. "He probably doesn't appreciate them because he doesn't keep up with women's fashion trends and that I'm partial to a bright colour or something with pom poms on. Luckily, he's now used to me wearing them anyway and not listening so there's not too much negotiation - just an eye roll or sarcastic comment from him usually!"

I read about a female mechanic who could not keep track of her own shop towels in the shop she worked in- until she got hot pink ones and trimmed them with black lace. Suddenly, no problems losing her shop towels. Same for her tools- dipped all the handles in hot pink plastic goo and no more issues with her tools going walkabout.

Again, make the hem knee-length. It's too schlumpy at this length for your height. The bag is much too large for this dress and the tennis shies are too clunky for this dress. Wear colored(any color in the dress, not white) espadrilles or some streamlined shoe. Tennis shoes don't suit the look. They drag down the cheery, snappy look.

Not only judgmental but very confused about how much the boyfriend notices her outfits and seems to have names for them. I've been married for 24 years and it's taken me that long to learn how to notice SOME of the clothes my wife and daughters wear. Although they like my approval, my opinion has little bearing on what they wear as it has nothing to do with me and everything to do with how it makes them feel. Also, the opinion of other women will override any opinion that I have. I'm kinda curious as to what the boyfriend would prefer her to wear - maybe a comparison would add to this article. Does he understand her body type or style?

Just accessorize this jumpsuit more strongly (add a colorful line on the waist with a belt for instance) and the mechanic look will be gone gone. Nice figure :) you can pull off many different cloth styles

She does wear some pretty weird stuff but she has every right to do it, and it reflects her style. I actually think the boyfriend is pretty funny some of the things he says. I get there feeling their difference of opinion on her clothing is pretty light-hearted. Hopefully they have fun with it.

I don't think he was right about any of them, but I guess that's a matter of taste. Where there is no question (at least not for me) is that the thing he's saying about those outfits are really not nice and horrible in some cases. Given how many outfits it affects and how often he must be saying those things, he doesn't sound like a nice guy. At all.
