    The nerd in me would like to point out the massive inaccuracy here. A pin on a world map would be about large enough to instantly wipe out a medium-sized *town*.

    This is actually sadly true. Pickpockets will stand underneath signs saying "beware of pickpockets" because people automatically feel for their valuables when they see the sign. They then know what to go for. DON'T feel for valuables on seeing these signs!
