Went to adopt a dog. There's a lot of puppies there. No adults, which I prefer. Giant bloodhound puppy is basically destroying the cage to get my attention. Take him home. He just turned 2. He's a derpy little angel. ♥

She looks a bit like our old cat that I thought was mostly Russian Blue, but was actually a Thai Korat. They need to be in pairs and are usually given so in Thailand. Ours had a tough life of social anxiety and such. If she looks like that, get her a friend!

Because cats are more territorial than dogs, they may show more aggression towards a newcomer. For this, Cooper advises setting up barriers to prevent a potential scratching match between your two pets.
Feeding each cat on different sides of a screen door can be a start. Once they’ve grown more acquainted, you can start removing these barriers.

I adopted a large longhair black cat, and my roommates adopted a tiny black kitten. They're basically inseparable now. Together, they look like the Standard-Size Primary Void and the smaller Emergency Backup Void.

Love this. I volunteer at the Hawaii Island Humane Society and seeing these adopted pets makes me really happy. I recently adopted a deaf partially sighted puppy from the shelter myself and couldn't be happier.
