“Even though I spend a lot of time encouraging others to be mindful in the moment, it's still important to set goals and plan for our future,” Susan said and added that “even a Buddhist Monk has to plan out his garden, right?” According to her, the idea is to enjoy and focus on the experience while we're doing it.

I live in a 1920's house. The floor was mainly cheap laminate. We are currently having it ripped out and getting some parquet put back down. Just as it should be. The original here looks amazing. I wish the original in my house hadn't been ripped out originally. The only piece that remains is a tiny bit under the stairs.

You look fantastic with hair. Keep on keeping on. You will discover, that like shaving your beard, the more often you cut your hair, the faster your hair will grow. I had a friend who would donate about 40cm, once a year. I think the shortest the charities will take is about 35-40cm.

My niece has received multiple gifts from Locks of Love as she has grown. She suffers from Alopecia. Locks of Love takes the time to make actual prosthetics, NOT wigs, but actual prosthetics fitted to the child’s head with which they can swim, bathe, play sports and sleep in. A new one must be made and fitted every 1-2 years as the child’s head grows. There has NEVER been a cost to the family for this.

If you do vomit (for any reason) rinsing and gargling with baking soda solution immediately after can help neutralize the acid - then besure to wait at least 30-60 minutes before flossing, brushing, and using a fluoride mouthwash.

My brother has a prosthetic eye. When he was a kid I loved going to the doctor with him. Old building, huge wall of tiny drawers, each with rows and rows of eyes. The doctor would find the right size, closest match, and then look at my brother's existing eye to hand paint in matching flecks of color to make it Hazel. It was amazing.

Wow!! Very psychedelic-looking! 🤓 I like it! Have seen around here some backpacks covered in some sort of triangles with a dull greyish sheen with very pale colored hues...until I saw one of those in the subway in artificial light and it looked neon pastel in every hue! Had no idea they could reflect the light like that! Now I want to find and buy one. It's awesome-looking and useful in the dark when a car approaches.

I rescued an aloe and 3 cactus sections from the trash. The aloe is thriving, had a pup, now 8” tall, and two of the cactus sections (I call them ice cream cactus - they look like soft ice cream) have sprouted arms since they can’t grow “up” with their “heads” cut off. I love rescue plants. Mine aren’t nearly as impressive as yours, but they’re alive and growing!

None of it changed favorably. They had a sunroom before with a door to separate the space and lots of room for seating. They knocked out the door so it’s now just one big continuous room with a weird corner, and now it has those ugly cabinets by the window. The ONE thing they could have done was fix that ugly 1990s floor but they kept it. This person did a bad job.

But...will the sound quality be the same?...😳 Also I suppose that, if they are an advised user, they used an adequate lacquer for the instrument. You cannot use any kind on them, as far as I know. My Dad is a carpenter, so he knows quite a lot about wood essences and adequate lacquers for them. He repaired my old violin back when I was a kid, using some lacquer, and still its sonority was affected. I hope this beautiful cello was properly restored indeed!

It wasn't abused before. It's a marble dragon scale betta -- those thick metallic-looking scales are called dragon scales and the marble gene means it has splotches of different colors that can change over time.

It’s literally a stamp for concrete! They pour the concrete, level it, then lay the pattern. Sort of a cookie cutter, if you will, but the grooves do not go all the way through to the ground. They’re super cool!
