The second one was from a professional photo shoot. The kiddos were kinda over it at that point. Mom and dad loved it so much they ended up using it for their family Christmas card. ☺️

The picture above seems really strange. The baby might be sleeping peacefully, but this is definitely no comfortable position. Stages baby photos are rather annoying.

Please remember that these pro shots are done as a composite, it is NOT safe to have your newborn balance their head on their hands and can easily result in a mild to severe injury.

I've read somewhere that this "pose" is actually two poses photo-shopped together, and that trying to imitate it without the support can hurt the little ones. That said, I love the "failed" photo more than the original.
