hello i used to have this thing called a cricket rifle started at ten but i do agree that kids should not have high to medium-cal rifles but the cricket was for target practice i wanted to do bow and arrow at the time but i wasnt strong enough so i used the cricket for a few years now im extremely good with bow and arrow gping on 3 years but always know gun safety and guns are tools not toys. even a squirrel gun can hurt or kill a person so always be careful

This is going to date me, but when I was a kid, no one had ever heard about school shootings. Guns were for defending livestock or humanely putting down an unredeemably sick animal, and every farmer had them. Thousands of children had free access to guns without even thinking about wanting to shoot up a school. I honestly don't think guns are the problem, there's something wrong with society. Maybe there's too many of us, and this is what happens when society becomes too impersonal, idk.
