50 Times People Spotted Such Angry And Delusional Posts In Their Local Facebook Groups, They Just Had To Shame Them
Facebook groups were game changers for many people out there who found a sense of belonging and made friends, who looked for a place to vent or share their passion, or simply wanted a hassle-free corner to sell or buy things. Today, there are countless Facebook groups out there, from very peculiar ones to solely practical ones, to the ones that combine both.
This Facebook group known as “Angry People in Local Facebook Groups” took a good look at all these groups and realized that just as Facebook has given a voice to people who needed one, so it has given a voice to those who not just speak but scream, aka angry people.
“Facebook has given a voice to local communities across the world, communities which previously had no voice and in hindsight probably shouldn't have been given one,” reads the description of the group, which is home to a whopping 55.6K members. I hooted at a car because it didn’t have its lights on and it was nighttime. I wanted to warn him because of the danger. The driver flipped me the bird and shouted that I was a stupid c*nt.
To find out more about the community behind the “Angry People in Local Facebook Groups" Facebook group, Bored Panda reached out to its creator Steph Bobby Doyle, who said that she doesn’t take things very seriously and tends to find it quite amusing when other people do.
“I’m an active user of social media and member of a few local Facebook groups and just found some of the posts people were sharing really funny. On the one hand, social media gives us access to events happening on a global scale, but people still use it to moan about the tiny things happening on their own street,” Doyle told us.“

I follow the page Angry People in Local Newspapers and couldn’t believe there wasn’t an Angry People in Local Facebook Groups, so I made my own,” Doyle recounted the origins of her group.
When asked why so many people vent out their frustrations on online groups, Doyle believes that people just like to vent. “Most members are British and we are famed for being very polite. Whilst we might not yell at someone in the street to pick up after their dog, we're happy to angrily post about it IN ALL CAPS on Facebook,” the creator of “Angry People in Local Facebook Groups" explained.
When it comes to the members of this group, Doyle thinks that just like her, most members look on the lighter side of life and are able to find humor in things and poke fun. “However, sometimes a post might spark some debate and I will see members commenting things that I think would fit well into an Angry People in Angry People in Local Facebook Groups group.”

As for the content that gets shared on “Angry People in Local Facebook Groups," Doyle tries to only share posts that are genuinely funny and doesn't approve anything that's mean-spirited.
“There will be times when there will be a lot of post submissions about the same sort of thing so I'll try to pick the funniest ones. There was 1 week when I felt a bit green around the gills after looking through dozens of posts which included photos of dog poop so I do try not to share too many of those!”
Although Doyle said she hasn’t really thought about where the group is headed, she has a good idea of what the local people of Facebook want. “So maybe one day I'll stand for local election to eliminate the phantom dog poopers, bad parkers and noisy neighbors of the world!” she concluded.
It’s only human to feel a vast array of emotions, from sadness to anger, from happiness to anxiety. Anger, however, is something we should not be proud of, yet it comes and meets us quite often. Charles Spielberger, PhD, a psychologist who specializes in the study of anger, argues that anger is “an emotional state that varies in intensity from mild irritation to intense fury and rage.”
And just like other strong emotions, anger is not just in your mind. In fact, it is often accompanied by physiological and biological changes which mean that when you get angry, your heart rate and blood pressure go up, as do the levels of your energy hormones, adrenaline, and noradrenaline.

And while most of us get intense bursts of anger when things go against the plan, think of a canceled flight or an unpleasant comment from your coworker, some people control it better than others.
According to Jerry Deffenbacher, PhD, a psychologist who specializes in anger management, some people really are more “hotheaded” than others are; they get angry more easily and more intensely than the average person does. There are also those who don’t show their anger in loud spectacular ways but are chronically irritable and grumpy. Easily angered people don’t always curse and throw things; sometimes they withdraw socially, sulk, or get physically ill.
Psychologists argue that people who get angry easily have a low tolerance for frustration. They can’t take things in stride, and they’re particularly infuriated if the situation seems somehow unjust: for example, being corrected for a minor mistake. This can be caused by past trauma, or be inherited genetically.
In fact, anger management is a skill that is learned as part of fluid communication when a child is growing up. So it’s no wonder that typically, people who are easily angered come from families that are disruptive, chaotic, and not skilled at emotional communication.

As a store retail worker...they build store shelves to the build of six foot tall, and then staff the front with women under five foot six. It is evil 😂!

I’m confused. Assuming there are shelves from the ground up, wouldn’t lowering the shelves require eliminating other shelves/items? I don’t know about markets in general, but if mine had to lower their shelves by even one, they’d have to double the floor space of the building.

☹️ I always try to help the short people in the store. I'm 5'7" with a 6'3" arm span, so if you see me in the store and need help, don't hesitate to call on me! I'm sorry grocers are unaccommodating.

I'm 5' 8" with what my husband calls monkey arms and usually wear heels. I am always more than happy to help people reach things in the store. And if I find that all the items from the front are pushed to the back I pull them to the front so people can see them. My mom is short and both my bff's growing up were short so it's just a habit.

My husband is 5' 10" and I'm 5' 8" but his wingspan is not as wide so I often get things off the grocery store and out of our cupboards and closet shelves for him. I think it helps I can stand on my toes too.

As a woman that is 5,3, I can say, that I've done the jump and grab quite often, however; it only works well when the product is near the edge of the shelf. If there's 2 products (or more) missing from the shelf, the angle makes its nearly impossible to jump and grab what ever is needed. I ended up with a massive bruise on my arm because of it, and no product 😂.

I’m 5’6” and sometimes have trouble with high shelves, especially when I’m after one of the last bags or boxes that have been shoved toward the back of the shelf and well out of my reach. If someone who’s tall passes by, you can always ask if they can help you. Most people are pretty nice, and don’t mind putting their extra height to good use by helping you.

I am sympathetic, really I am. But I have the opposite problem. Being tall and having back problems, I hate those stores that put the extra large clothes and shoes on the bottom shelf! Put the small sizes down low and the large sizes up higher - that's not obvious?

I'm 5'8 and at least once a shopping trip I get something down off the upper shelves for shorter ladies. One time a very tiny lady who didn't speak the same language as me silently followed me from aisle to aisle and patiently waited next to me, then pointed to the things she needed with a politely inquiring face. She didn't seem to mind waiting for my three busy, noisy kids and I, she just hung out with us the whole trip.

If the shelves are the ones with the bars, particularly in the freezers i can put a finger through the bars on the lower shelf and move the box towards the front and get it that way. I'm 5ft2 and always find a way

Supermarkets really should have those grabby tools for people to use. I'm 5'7" and sometimes I can't reach stuff on the upper shelves either. Same with the freezer section. There have been times I couldn't reach the stuff on top in the back. One item left, it's just what you want, it's almost within my reach, but just an inch too far. Forever out of reach and happily mocking my attempts to get it.

I don;t know if this was just local, but in the old days, they used to have a couple stepping stools in each aisle. Maybe they were too much of an obstacle for shopping carts? Of course, when I was a kid, I just stepped up on the rung of the shopping cart.

I just wait till somebody taller walks past me. Whether they work there or not, I just ask if they would mind helping me. This one girl, not much taller than me but a lot younger, actually climbed onto the bottom shelf to reach what I wanted. My hero for that day :)

Had a short person ask me to get her something she couldn't reach, only to watch me put my fingers through the bars from underneath the shelf (as I have mobility problems) to reach the back of the shelf of frozen food. She realised that she could reach one shelf higher than she thought she could.

I really feel your pain! I too am vertically challenged, and must rely on taller people's kindness! It's a real problem, though, seriously, as my body is damaged from always be forced to use utilities and shelvings made for taller people - of so called normal length. Even walking the stairs is difficult for me, and I now have chronic pain in my knees from it, and in my shoulders, elbows and other joints. Time and lack of reach will take its toll.

To add to this, I'm very tall but the large shoe sizes are always on the lowest rack. There are mens size 6-7 up 2m high and they can't reach those either. Just switch them all around!

I wait until a suitably tall person or one of the store employees gets within eye shot and then I start pretending to climb the shelves. Works every time.

Get an extended gripper and use it. I'm over 5 ft and still have trouble stretching for some items. At stores where the employees ignore you, it's great to whip it out and start fishing for the stuff you can't reach. If you get it great, if a tall employee runs over and gets it for you before you can create an accident....score!!! Much safer than climbing the shelves.

Personally, I just stand on the bottom shelf to reach the top one. If your abilities do not allow for this method, then I recommend an extendable grabber thingy.

One of the things my children loved doing at Christmas time when they were little, was a drive by looking at the decorated houses at night-time. We have one estate that makes a huge effort especially for kids and is well loved by all .

Need more context. “Disappointing” in what way? Quality of food? Over/undercooked? Shitty service? Was there a weird smell throughout the restaurant? Did the OP show their a*s and act badly the whole time? Did they treat the staff like servants? What? We can’t judge their answer until we have more context.

Ummmmm… excuse me it is not required to have Christmas decorations up. Maybe they don’t celebrate Christmas, maybe they don’t want to spend money on Christmas decorations and are saving up for even more stuff to do to their house. They don’t have to put up Christmas decorations.

Point it out to them - big supermarkets will usually sell at the lower price. If it's marked on the pack, rather than on the shelf, then they ARE obliged to sell it at 19p. If on the shelf, it's likely that someone has switched the numbers round, and reporting it gives them a chance to remedy it.
