Ending in the galaxy far far away because of the speed the universie rotates in. I mean after a mere hour something as insignificant as Earth has moved 107,226 km. That is approximately 939943116 km a year. Multiply by 30 years (starting in 1985 going back to 1955) would be 28198293480 km and the Delorian would end up in deep space. The Milky Way moves 2.1 million km/hr. Someone else can do the maths ;)

Worst Christmas movie ever. A good movie would be him dying in jumping off the bridge, his family gets a big payout from life insurance, so are able to live happily ever after. Instead of the filmed ending where he lands his whole family in crippling debt.

Shirley Henderson was 37 when she played Moaning Myrtle, the ghost of a 14 year old. She did a fine job -- I didn't even know it was her when I first saw the movies. Nevertheless, and despite her baby face, why didn't they get a MUCH younger actress? I suppose they didn't want the character to age between movies, but a late teen would have been fine.

It sounds like some random, silly joke at first, but this one is actually very deep. A couple of decades ago, lots and lots actors were scared to play gay roles, because everyone would assume the actors themselves were gay. And this wasn't like super long ago, this way of thinking was still very present in the 90s, actors who did choose to play gay roles, would get so much s**t about it. I'm very happy how the times have changed.

This sounds like one of those fake facts but it's not: The British say "lost their marbles" to mean to become mentally incompetent of self-care as a reference to Britain's justification for taking Greece's "marbles." Marbles, in this case, doesn't refer to small spheres of agates that kids play with, but rather to ancient sculptures carved into marble. Greece had become politically destabilized and Britain removed many national treasures, arguing that the unstable political climate represented a threat to the security of the treasures.

Unfortunately, a similar conceit is used in the creation of fake news, making it clear just how susceptible we can be to confidence (earned or otherwise). If we were to revisit the idea for a false trivia game from earlier, could such a game help us sharpen our internal fake news intuition? Could such a game measure or improve our capacity to detect confidently delivered falsehoods?

Also there's no way those tickets were found randomly. Wonka must have selected those people well in advance to have customized his tour around them and have his agent, the man pretending to be Slugworth, on the scene the moment those golden tickets were "found" to temp each of those kids. So the whole global search for the golden tickets was one big corporate scam for mass profits.

They're alright, but with the rate Marvel/Disney are churning them out the quality since Endgame has dropped significantly (both from underpaid/overworked SFX artists and lacking scripts). The Marvel fatigue is real, I use to be excited when new ones came out but now I'm just like "Oh, another one."

the above character is the human version of Shrek (from Shrek 2), wearing a motion capture helmet, as if the studio was filming him and overlaying the ogre's features in post (rather than just animating it, which is obviously what they really did)

I'm convinced that a great use of billionaire dollars would be to start a really good trash company, at least in my city. Clean bins, extra sweeping of anything that drops, innovative waste disposal/reuse methods, litter pickup, etc. It's so overlooked, and makes such a difference. Maybe other cities have their act together, but mine does not.

Shrek 2, Shrek forgets that lesson and goes back to being misanthropic and angry but learns that he might be an Ogre but people love and respect him anyway. And in the last Shrek movie Shrek hates how everyone respects him and treats him like a person, which is everything he had always wanted. He actually misses being treated like a monster and terrorizing people, which is what he previously hated. I don't think there's any pleasing Shrek.

So, your theory is: if a person feels attracted by certain physical traits he/she is a racist? Every person has a different "ideal" which doesn't mean they despise the others; they just don't find some things attractive. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As far as every person can choose who they want to be with, whats wrong with it?

Does anyone know if Sam Worthington was second choice to play Jake Sully? The reason I ask is because all the other character's Avatars do actually bear a fairly strong resemblance to their 'operators' however, I see almost no resemblance between Sam Worthington and Jake's Avatar, which makes me think that another actor was intended for the role. Now, according to Wikipedia, the part of Sully was offered to Matt Damon, but I don't think the Avatar looks anything like him either. Sorry, long-story-short: does anyone else think that Jake's Avatar looks a lot like Brendan Fraser? ...and that maybe he was chosen before the CGI got well under way, but couldn't commit as expected?

I am being professionally pedantic, but he was above sea level. The ships deck is quite high from the surface of the water. Boats decks are not at sea level. Their waterline is (that's the point where the hull that is underwater meets the rest that is above.), but the decks are above that.

Am I the only one who hated the ending of Glass Onion? ***SPOILERS*** While I can see Hercule Poirot... I mean Benoit Blanc being ok with the billionaire suffering since he likely won't get arrested. I can't imagine that he'd be ok with the Mona Lisa literally being destroyed. Never mind the rest of the irreplaceable artworks.

Told them we already said that when I was their age and saw that movie for the first time back then in 1989, when year 2000 sounded like an awesome and distant future. Sorry to ruin you dreams kids.

I don't think that line is meant to be the crease where her legs meet her body. Looks like the curve of her belly. So her knickers would be under that. - I'm guessing men who have never seen a woman naked think this shows she's not wearing underwear.

Made myself rewatch it because the first time, I only got halfway through it. Thought I must have missed something that makes others thing this movie is wonderful. The only thing good is Sigourney Weaver, who is amazing in everything. I really don't get the fascination with this film. It's all paint and CGI and not much substance. Give me story plot over set dressing anyday.

I'll be fine with it as long as they bring a character equelant to younger Toph. Heck, just copy the whole Toph in there and I wouldn't mind.

Definitely running out of ideas... shame they lost their respect for the artists who made them what they are. Give me the old hand drawn and loved movies over these boring and underdone travesties: Onward, Raya, Soul, Inside Out, Turning Red, Encanto, Luca, and probably Elemental, though I haven't seen it yet. There have been a sad few that were actually good: Pinocchio with Tom Hanks, Hocus Pocus with the 3 stars returning did not disappoint, Disenchanted had the same problem it had with the original film, it would have been better with less Robert and more Edward. Sorry, but boring and stoic cannot beat charisma and charm.

Lily was Severus' first friend and they enjoyed each other's company. He was pleased that she could do magic like him. Lily gave him something he craved, her attention. He could answer all her questions about the magical world, he was her link to it. While they grew up, he still pined for her attention, only to be rejected, her attention was solely on the bully who terrorized Severus. His father was abusive, hateful of magic. His mother must have been timid, not to protect her child from this father. Being bullied at home and school, he delved into the dark arts. The dark lord wasn't so picky in choosing his followers. There, Snape was accepted. NOW, when Voldemort killed James and Lily, all those old feelings came rushing back. He was still so in love with her that his patronus turned into a doe, like Lily's had been. Then he cared for her son at arms length, helping him through his many adventures and saving him time and time again. (Read the books!!! Much more story to discover!)

No, no, they took the deloreon back to 1912 and filmed it all on the real Titanic! Genuine set designs, too few lifeboats! And of course, Doc Brown was related to Molly Brown, so he made sure she got a lifeboat in time. They just had to be sure to get back to the deloreon in time to whisk the cast members back to safety.

I loved that iteration of Deadpool, with the exception of wishing that he could still speak. I know why they made him unable to speak, I just don't agree. That was one of his best characteristics. I enjoy the comedic Deadpool character also, but the abilities that The Deadpool character had in Origin Story were phenomenal. That movie is one of my favorites. It's just epic.

I loved that comment that Amy Poehler said about James Cameron when she cohosted the Golden Globes with Tina Fey. It was to do with The Hurt Locker and her nomination for Best Director. “I’ve not been following the story about The Hurt Locker, but when it co es to torture, I trust the woman who spent three years married to James Cameron!”. It’s on You tube and is incredibly funny. Her comment about Anne Hathaway not liking being filmed very closeup is hilarious too!!!
