My brother and I used to work in a gas station/garage in the middle 70's and we kinda adopted a station cat. He was the antithesis of your typical cat and I suppose that was due to his environment. He would ride on service calls with me in the tow truck and when we were back at the station, he slept on a shelf behind a Mobil Oil clock that had light bulbs in it that warmed his shelf. The guy operating the cash register would very often find himself with a living boa of sorts when the cat would crawl down from his shelf and lay across his shoulders.

I did all the gardening for an elderly man whose cat did this exact same thing to me. He'd balance on my back for the entire time I was hunched over. And he never scratched me!

Viktoriia added that interestingly, despite her "angry" look, Kitzia's personality is quite the opposite: “She's actually very sweet and affectionate, often seeking out cuddles and attention from anyone around her. Her grumpy expression is more of a funny quirk than an accurate reflection of her demeanor.”

To see a sleeping cat makes you jealous, if only you could sleep that good. But to see a sleeping hog... that's next level! Often caked in mud, half its body in the pool, obviously well fed, making happy pig noises, a smile from ear to ear. Radiating utter bliss.

I think this is the kitty that has a neurological problem. Has to be hand fed, receives physical therapy, can only move front legs a little, but us sweet & already lived 2 years longer than the vet said he would live. He's swee, cut, and keeps on thriving.

A friend's family had a cat who would leave little dead "presents" on the front step quite often, which drove the Mom of the family insane. So, she decided to put a bell on the cat, and spare the birds and mice. For two weeks, no "presents." The "gifts" started up again, and she could not figure out HOW that cat could sneak up on anything with a bell that big. One day, I was out in the backyard with her son, and we watched that cat stalking a bird. He lined up his mark, then took off, full gallop across the yard, and that bell didn't make a sound. Turns out the cat figured out how to run with the bell, without doing too much motion with its neck, so the bell could not warn the prey. Mom laughed but ground her teeth, because this meant the cat had outsmarted her, and she still needed to deal with "presents" on the front step almost every morning.
