Look around you. The world is full of empty canvases. Everywhere you turn are empty walls where beautiful pieces of art could be, but often these spaces are overlooked in favor of boring blank nothingness. But fortunately for us there are artists out there who are determined to transform our world into the vibrant public art gallery that it deserves to be. Take a look at these before and after pictures of spectacular street art to see what we mean. Compiled by Bored Panda, the gallery below serves to remind us of what our towns and cities could look like if only we used our imagination. Don't forget to vote for the best!

The point of the two photos is to show that you can only see the art when ascending the stairs, and that they look normal when descending. These two photographs do a great job of illustrating that - Nothing more to be seen.

So you are OK with continuing to glorify a sexual assault? That kiss, iconic as it may be, was not consensual and she did not even know him, He just grabbed her and had his way.

The colors are incredible - and this really shows the expression of someone with a great imagination, reading a well-written book. This was me as a little girl. I just love it!

Here's a thought. Maybe they didn't think to make a "before" photo so they used the same photo and scrubbed it to give some idea of what it may have looked like before they painted it. Come on people, stop being so critical of the comparisons and enjoy the art.
