In a world bigger than themselves, children are often silenced. Their ideas are deemed “childish,” therefore not worthy of attention, and their opinions get labeled with the “just a kid” mark.
But in reality, these voices of little kids are often more illuminating, honest, and creative than self-absorbed adults would like to think.
So, this time we have compiled a wholesome list of the most touching random acts of kindness by kids that prove little ones have the biggest hearts. Be sure to upvote your favorite of these feel-good stories and don’t forget to check out part 1 when you’re done reading this one. And… tell your good kids you love them, ‘cause they’re really worth it (and much more!).

Real Heroes
Although they did this I bet it really upset them . Such brave young fellas having to see and cope with what life is about for some , must have been so hard . We are all so proud of you in the UK
Damn straight!! People should know their names. Not for publicity or whatever. It just goes to show you can make a difference in the world or someone’s life regardless of your age. Also...if they were home late, this is proof they had a reason.
It's better to be naming heroes rather than villains (with their permission of course)! More people should be gaining notoriety through good acts rather than bad.
Load More Replies...they're so young! they had to have been so scared, but the did their best to help anyway. true courage. absolutely incredible kids!
And yet some people would pass them in the street and dismiss them and 'trouble'. Just shows, you never know people other than by direct experience. Brilliant trio of young men.
Kids are just kids, they say. And many adults deem the little ones distracted, impulsive, and somewhat lacking a sense of reality. This usually unintentional and often unconscious attitude towards children stops us from really getting to know their incredible minds and unique sense of the world. Even the most complex type of emotions like empathy and kindness find their place in even the smallest ones of us.
To find out more about children’s incredible minds, Bored Panda reached out to Susan Engel, an award-winning book author and senior lecturer at the Dept of Psychology and Gaudino Scholar at Williams College, Massachusetts.
According to Susan, all babies are born curious and are equipped with antenna for detecting novelty. The only difference from adults is that newborns are curious about everything. “A two-year-old wants to know about a little about everything, a 12 or 22-year-old wants to know a lot about some things, and the more they know, the more sophisticated their questions are,” she explained.
My Six-Year-Old Nephew Bridger Saved His Little Sister’s Life By Standing Between Her And A Charging Dog
After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe. He later said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.” After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he’s finally resting at home. We love our brave boy and want all the other superheroes to know about this latest hero who joined their ranks.
What an awesome brother, I hope his scars heal well, but even if not it is a sign of awesomeness and heroic act that he should never ever feel ostracized for!
this dude would die for his sister.... and my brother attacks me (like biting, punching, kicking) when i turn off the tv. He's almost 7.... yes.. my brother is 6 years younger than me but it's still unacceptable and my parents don't want to understand how much of a problem he's becoming, "you're provoking him", yeah right, thats the only issue... definitely not in need of therapy or at least a good spanking.
I’ve been there. I know it’s not... really helpful but it does stop. See if you can talk to one parent about it and do it sincerely. Again, I know it’s little help but we see you. We do. You aren’t alone.
Load More Replies...Bless him , what a heroic thing to do. This little guy deserves a medal 🥇 . You are such a brave kid, and when you get big , your sister has to be nice to you always . Well come on you did. Save her life .
I feel sorry for any boyfriends that hurt her.... this goes to show the love he has and the length he'd go to protect her.... OMG.... 🥰 no im not crying its sweat! LOL
This was here in UK...it's quite easy for people to claim I would do this or that but this kid,no more than 7-8 years old literally put himself in the path of an animal that by comparison would be an adult lion to me...Utterly fearless in the face of protecting his sister....the comparison of a soldier does not do this justice,a soldier puts his life at risk for orders and a belief..this was self sacrifice,no more,no less....I can only hope I have the same strength

Meanwhile, as we grow up, our sense of “curiosity tends to get narrower (zero in on specific topics, phenomena, conundrums, etc.), and for some, their curiosity gets simultaneously deeper,” Susan explained.
“Conversations, exploration, and tinkering, all essential activities,” are all the things that nurture children’s inborn thirst for the world around them as they grow to experience it. Susan suggests giving children “lots of time and opportunity to explore, to noodle around with objects, and to talk, however odd and circuitous the conversation may seem.”
I’m So Proud Of My Son, He Seen A Kid Balled Up Into A Corner Crying, So He Went To Console Him, Grabbed His Hand And Walked Him Inside Of The School
It is an honor to raise such a loving, compassionate child! He’s a kid with a big heart, the first day of school started off right.
I feel that kids often have an insight into the world that you can only have when young that teaches them to accept and cherish kindness.
Load More Replies...I saw this when it was posted by the Autistic kids parents...they were SO grateful and touched, the boys are now good friends and have hung out quite a bit after school together !
At what age do we socialize them out of this? And could we please stop? The world would be far more delightful if this is the kindness and attitude that made it to adulthood.
Unpopular opinion - 1. Nobody consciously does this, caring more about self is natural part of growing up. 2. Plenty of nice adults in the world and BP has frequently covered it.
Load More Replies...Cool story, but super awkward that you took a picture of a stranger's crying child and posted it on the internet.

My beautiful nana passed away August 9th, peacefully in her home. Please never forget this beautiful story. It was meant to spread love and kindness, and unfortunately many have turned it into something so negative.
How could people turn this into something negative?? I tear up every time I see this! It makes my heart so happy!
I have seen this picture elsewhere. Comments on those boards were absolutely horrible. Internet brings out lot of crazies and inner demons. To everyone asking how this comment can be turned in negative. One comment about this picture online I read said, "He was coming everyday to check if she was dead so he can help himself with her belongings without worrying"; but With much more nasty words and nouns. This is just one example.
It could perhaps even be that he's lonely for a nana and she's his friend. A beautiful story.
How would someone put a negative spin on this???? Like how??? The world needs more people like this kid
12-Year-Old Kid Makes Shelter Cats And Dogs Stylish Bow Ties To Help Them Find A Home
Despite his young age, a 12-year-old from New Jersey with a heart of gold, Darius Brown has taken an initiative to help our furry friends get adopted much faster. He creates handmade stylish bow ties for four-legged companions (cats and dogs) and donates them to animal shelters to attract the attention of future owners.
Gosh, those are some AMAZING bow ties! An eye for design like that is so rare.
Sure wish he sold a few, I would LOVE to support him and have my Jackson styling!!
Late Last Night, Myles Went On And On About How He Had To Be Twins With A Boy In His Class For Twin Day Because They Look Exactly The Same — Same Eyes, Same Hair. He Was Adamant That They Were Identical
So, after the kids went to bed, I headed to Walmart at 9 p.m. to get matching outfits. Their teacher sent me this picture today. My heart melted.
Obviously, they are two very different children, but Myles didn’t see that. Wouldn’t the world be such a better place if we could all view it through the eyes of a couple 5-year-olds.
There is a story of two little girls like this. I think it is adorable. We need people like this.
I think they should wear the matching flannel shirts in this photo, too. They say "FUTURE LEADER" over the pocket!

No Shame In Loving Your Mom
Not only is this really sweet but it shows also that he has strength and character
It really does take a lot of courage for an adolescent to say "love you" to mom in front of their peers. Especially a boy in front of other boys. I wish the parents of this kid would share some parenting advice with the rest of us. We could use a world were men weren't pressured to be "tough".
I grew up in a family where we never said "I love you" to each other (even though we do love each other very much), and I can't tell you how sorry I am that we never built that habit. When I have my own kids, I hope we build a dynamic where we tell each other "I love you" all the time.
I realized this about 20 years ago. My mom has never been touchy feely. When my step dad died in 2000 she was crying and gave me a huge hug and I realized she hadn't hugged me since I was like 5. We love each other, and didn't realize until then and it made the hug awkward. I hug my kids every day. When my 19 year old cones over (and my 23 year old) the first thing they do is hug everyone. My 13 year old comes in my room and gets a hug every morning before school. But I know that when it comes to people outside of my kids and husband, I don't want to be touched. Like hugging friends, I will pass. I think it is because of my loving mom not being a hugger.
Load More Replies...I have something to say about this post:That is a really sweet young man and I LOVE MY MAMA!!
Often, adults stop encouraging kids' enquiries as they don’t really know the answer, but it would be best to do the contrary. Susan said that the important things parents could do are really take care of themselves and “nurture their own curiosity,” because “children are incredibly responsive to role models.”
Their ability to learn from role models applies to all the other complex traits, like empathy and kindness. According to scientists, “prosocial behavior,” which is essentially showing helpfulness and kindness to others, emerges as early as the second year of life. Toddlers can bite, snatch, and shout at people, but they can also be gentle and comforting.
A 7 Year Old Promise
A lot of grade-school aged kids may have stayed away from my sister Mary or thought she was weird because she has Downs Syndrome. But not Ben. He always looked out for her, always made sure to pick her on his team at recess and even made a promise to her in 4th grade to take her to the prom someday. 7 years later, he made good on that promise and in the process put a smile on Mary's face & restored my faith in humanity. Have a great time at the prom you two!
I had a best friend named darcy in 5th grade, I was her body gaurd! Anyone that was mean..... YOU GOIN' DOWWWWWN. She had Down Syndrome, and was the best friend I had always wanted. She had to move though. But we stayed in touch and still do, now she has a family!! Two kids that are amazing! She has grown so strong and is the bestest friend I had ever had. THANKS FOR READING THIS!!! <3

Boy Prevents Kidnapping Of A Young Girl
This is Tiernan McCready. This is what a hero looks like.
Last week in the Bogside he saw three males grab an 18 year old girl and try to get her in their van.
Most ADULTS would be paralysed in shock, confusion or fear and fail to act till it was too late. Tiernan reacted instantly and shouted at the males and led the girl away to safety. He then told his mum who rang Police.
Let that sink in
This could have been the start of a potentially serious and harrowing crime. That girl could have been my child, my sister, your child, your family member.
The Bogside, Brandywell, and The Fountain Neighbourhood Team presented Tiernan with a PSNI Badge of Honour (and some Malteasers). But this doesn’t go anywhere near to paying off the debt our community owes this boy. Our youngsters often get a bad rep but remember the vast majority are brave and big hearted just like Tiernan.
What a brave young man, I'm so glad he and the woman are ok that could have gone so wrong
Simply being called out is enough to scare many criminals away. You don’t have to always be bigger or stronger. Especially if you’re around lots of other people and nobody is doing anything.
That he had the instinctive confidence to do this, his parents are doing something right.
That’s amazing! I would chicken out and run away. If more adults were like this the world might be a safer place
This thread is making my heart sing. This young man has probably saved the girl and her family a harrowing experience. What a legend.

Awww little children are the best, they don’t know racism because their hearts are pure. There is so much that young children can teach adults about humanity.
And sadly it’s adults who end up teaching children. To be racist. It should literally be considered child abuse.

It still boggles my mind that so small ones go through something this awful. But I hope the little one beats it soon and stays healthy afterwards - he has already the best support team, so he is in really good hands. My heart goes out for him. It is a sad picture. And yet so full of feelings, love, respect.
As someone who has had chemo, it is life altering (and please, not saying it for sympathy, all's fine for me - mine was pretty easy). But I was an adult and it was difficult. As a mother, I cannot fathom this. Knowing what this baby is going through is making me sob sitting here. I so hope it all went well for this little one. And what an amazing older sister. And someone else pointed out what an adult stance this is, and that is spot on.

🥰☺️ Okay guys. Rest up. We’re not going to let the world burn. EDIT: I have a lot of faith in the future, but we need to believe in ourselves and make those changes now too. The minimum is actually be kind and considerate.
Wish he was a little older. I'd want my daughter to marry that kid one day! He's going to be such an amazing husband and father.
Moreover, if toddlers see their parents acting kind towards one another, they are much more likely to engage in similar behavior. Actively discussing emotions and needs with their toddlers is likely to also nurture prosocial behavior, and when combined with a child’s inner sense of curiosity, it will surely pave a solid path to kind and open-minded individuals as they grow up.

You should - you've raised a good kid that's going to grow into a good man.
My kid started getting umbrellas in thrift stores. We keep them in the car for times when we see people who need them. Kid' have awesome ideas.
You raised an amazing son who will grow into an exceptional man. Well done and you should be very proud. The world needs more folks like you and your son.
He is a reflection of your kindness and love as he extends this to others. You have raised him well.
I love this kid as well! You’re an amazing mama who clearly instilled respect and love into your son. Well done! More mums and kids needed like you both!!!
I think kids should be trusted and be given some freedom.. and the benefit of a doubt before being 'grounded'.. because their job is to explore and grow. This sweet boy did just that, grew into himself. If he would have been stopped before he got a chance to do that, it would've been a terrible shame. Glad his mom had a chance to witness it and see just that, she raised a great boy. Of course, we do have to be vigillent so they stay safe, too, but also have faith in them. Kids are amazing. I used to work as a nursery assistant, they made my day every day, so def hope I can do that again after covid. Kids have boundless potential to grow. I hope I can have kids one day..
I agree with you but there should still be some constraints to keep them safe, like don't let them go outside in freezing cold weather without a winter jacket. Also if you're going to let them wander around maybe get them pepper spray or something for self-defense just in case

ME TOO! I have made a career of childcare, because I remember and respect childhood and can easily relate to thie joys, sorrows and confusion. Exposure teaches during childhood, don't criticize children for what they have not yet learned, it takes a lifetime of sensory interaction. Be careful what you do and don't expose them to. Talk often and model good coping reactions to difficult situations.
100 % to "be careful what you do" - the trauma teachers & care-givers can leave on children with words alone (or tone & volume, facial expressions, exclusion, labeling, etc) is immense!

Awesome Kids
I teach 8th grade. This week, my homeroom took an angel off the “giving tree” - a little girl. All she asked for was a bike & clothes. My kids all agreed to bring in $2 each & we’d buy her clothes because we couldn’t afford to get the bike. Then today, very quietly one of them came to my room with this.
Whoever did this is so sweet. One day, I hope to be surrounded by people who openly do good deeds like it’s nothing. That they don’t have to hide it, and they do it because there’s no other way.
I understand why he did it quietly..as to not embarrass his classmates that could only give so much. ❤️
Load More Replies...We need more people like this. And the whole class as a whole really with that giving tree thing. I get not everyone can do it, for many reasons, and that's fine if you can't, but it would still be great if more people who are able to help do try.
I will bet anything that kid who went home to mom or dad or both... said, “there is this girl in school off our angel tree and although I would like to bring in $2 for clothes, a bike our class can’t afford would be more fun.” And the adults crumbled. That’s how they roll.
Your classroom is filled with generous kids. I bet they don’t know the magnitude of their giving and how it has impacted this child. She asked for clothing so she clearly had nothing in life. You have her hope and the bike was icing on the cake !
Giving trees are great! Every Christmas, churches, schools, and government facility's have Christmas trees up with little cards on them. Each card has written on them a needy child (name excluded) with age, gender and a few Christmas gift wishes. You bring the unwrapped gift back and they make sure the child relieves the gift before Christmas. Many programs include grocery store gift cards for the parent(s).

Load More Replies...you posted two pics of the same kid together like we wouldn't notice bruh
Same age, same parents, clearly they're twins. Also do they make that stripey dog shirt in adult sizes?
Well, they're twins now. Now that they've both got the same parents, and they're the same age.
They are. They’re brothers. They share a bond they feel is twinning so heck yeah they’re twins. And they were chosen not adopted.

A 10-Year-Old Boy And Family Friend Cleaned Snow Off 80 Hospital Workers' Cars During Storm
It's exhausting! I can imagine what cleaning out a car would feel like after a long shift in a hospital (I have to only do mine in the morning when I'm barely awake, lol).
Load More Replies...I love this. My nephew is a psychiatric nurse in a hospital on Vancouver Island and we worry for his safety during the Covid-19 outbreak.
This. This amazing and selfless act. I've come out to a snow-covered car at the end of the shift and it's exhausting to even think about it. I am so grateful for these two wonderful people.
Kid Learning To Be A Good Person Early On
I don’t think they would learn this in their childhood. Kids are good from birth. I think a lot of people forget that by the time they grow up.
Children don't learn how to be good. They naturally come that way. It's when the adults step in and teach them how to be bad, negative, scared, etc.
My youngest took our puppy out during rainy weather. He held the umbrella over her and got soaking wet himself in the process... My heart melted when I saw that. Immediately made him a nice cup of coffee.
Kids that care and show kindness to all things living will be the future of this world.
Just A Wholesome Kid Restoring My Faith In Humanity
I would like that too, buddy. The whole world needs a lesson (or 12.) 🙁
This kid gets it, and I couldn't agree more!. I've always thought that disabilities and mental health should be taught about in school, so that those with mental health issues or a disability are understood more, and less likely to be bullied, left out, or misunderstood. It would also stop some young people "self diagnosing" and glamourizing mental health etc, without understanding it, thus spreading misinformation, which was certainly a trend when I was in school :/
This for sure. I've been bullied and ostracized for being autistic much of my life, and I feel like it wouldn't have gotten so bad if my classmates were educated more.
Load More Replies...i have a brother with autism and often have trouble forgiving him. can you help me to understand what it feels like to be autistic so i can be there for him more?
Load More Replies...I agree, there are a lot of things we'd be better off dropping from school and replacing with things we need to teach. Evidently there are more useful things the world can benefit from than mythology and old war dates and presidential cronology memorization, etc. It's time we updated priorities in education at home and in schools.
This kid couldn't have said it any better. We need to teach tolerance and celebrate our differences.
Autism is not a disability - it is a difference. My autism seemed a curse at first, but it has turned out to be a blessing. I see the world my way, and I see what very few others do.
Difference is a BEAUFIFUL thing! Learn to respect it and learn from it
Indeed! Autism is not a disability, it is not a syndrome, it is a DIFFERENCE! It is a difference in how one perceives and interacts with the world. I used to think my autism was a curse, but now I realize that it is a blessing. Seeing the world in my own way allows me to notice things that other people would never observe.

This Boy Offering A Bottle Of Water To A Policeman During A Hot Day In Baltimore
One of many pictures that I captured today in the midst of helping clean up the city and it speaks VOLUMES.
I believe that it is the kindness of kids like these who will help to heal our country of police brutality and I believe that we can learn to be just like this child, kind to people no matter who they are. ❤️
I live in the Baltimore area! I actually recognize where that pic was taken. Sweet boy!
I know this wasn’t the point... but did anyone else start singing Good Morning Baltimore (from the musical Hairspray?)
I can't believe white people would ever open their mouths again about BLM riots or any other race riots after the 💩 they did January 6. Its never good to judge ANYONE and their actions because were all capable of some pretty gruesome 💩 given the time opportunity and motive🤨
I hope he graciously accepted and they were able to speak with each other.

Proud Dad Moment
This happened to me. We had just moved, and I was in 7th grade, and a girl I barely knew by name came over and asked me if I'd like to go to her house for a sleepover that weekend. Out of nowhere! Needless to say, we were close friends for many years thereafter! It really does feel better than anything, to know someone thinks about you as a real live human.
I honestly wish whenever someone asks you something nice, it’s genuine. There are loads of lovely people out there who really do care, but the amount of times someone has been dared to ask me out or invite me to their house...

Boy Uses Bait Money To Buy Lunch For A Penobscot County Sheriff's Deputy
Today we had to shut down power to half of our store while our meat case got serviced. That meant no internet, no credit cards, no phone for 30 min. We were cash only. During this time a young man (9-years-old) came in with money he had earned to get bait. Bentley came to the counter and told us he would like to pay for the officer's lunch. Let’s just say we had to fight back tears. I took Bentley out so he could tell the sheriff his lunch was on him. What an amazing young man. We are so proud of you!

Those were absolutely lovely, and I think I've met my crying quota for the day. Well done, little ones!
I wasn't halfway through this before the onion-chopping ninjas showed up!

Absolutely loved this post, many tears shed that’s fo sure. One day after shopping with my son, he noticed a lot of rubbish scattered over the carpark and path outside the shopping centre as we were walking to the taxi rank. As we were walking he was picking up rubbish. It was a windy day so the rubbish was flying everywhere, there were times it went on the carpark so I made sure he didn’t go there, but in the end the wind blew most of it back on the path again. Luckily there was a bin nearby coz he had handful after handful. Every so often he will pick up rubbish he sees but only if there is a bin nearby coz he doesn’t want to carry it lol.
This entire post made me smile. I am still a kid myself, and this post served as a reminder to not give up. We are the future and I see so much love and acceptance from the children in these posts. I'm glad to grow up with these people in my overall generation, no matter how many miles away they may be. Things are gonna be ok.
These kids have more of a sense of basic kindness and humanity than most adults I know. I really hope they grow up and keep these qualities, as we need people like them. <3
