“The Simpsons” Animator Illustrates Humorous Everyday Moments Of Talking Animals (38 New Comics)
In the whimsical world of Liz Climo, a simple conversation between a bear and a rabbit can feel like a warm hug for the soul. The artist, who has mastered the art of "less is more," manages to turn minimalist sketches and clever, understated dialogue into a powerful exploration of friendship and everyday kindness.
Whether she’s paying tribute to her late friend through her beloved frilled lizard character or illustrating the quiet strength found in community during a crisis, Liz infuses every panel with a relatable, grounded sincerity. It’s this delicate balance of authentic vulnerability and lighthearted wit that makes her work a digital sanctuary—a place where the "small stuff" feels monumental and every reader can find a bit of themselves in her charming cast of creatures.

We used to live in a warehouse, and I rarely really went after the cobwebs in the stairwell, partly because of how high the ceilings were and partly because of laziness, but also because I couldn't make better cobwebs for Halloween parties. I *did* make a bunch of really awesome gravestone using gray and black paints and sand, they looked *so* good, and put them all over the place including the elevator and stairwell. Houses don't transform as easily into creepy Silent Hill imagery, but that's okay. We're out in the woods on top of a mountain, and I'm thinking of making the outside creepy for a party, but the weather will be what ultimately decides that possibility!
Silly! Just cuz it's not done ur way doesn't mean its not done right. How silly.
Same! I can never give them the right amount of water - it's always either too much or not enough!
Thanks, Hidrėlėy - you know how much we appreciate you!
Liz Climo's comics are one of my favorites, thank you for more of her work!
I love the art style. All the critters are adorable. I want to rub the bear's ears!
