I've had some game meat jerky/meat stick snacks and they all just tasted like smoke and spices. There was no real difference compared to plain old beef sticks.

I've never had dried spider. But I've even BBQ'd tarantula, and it was pretty good. Kind of a nutty smokey flavor. 7/10 would eat again.
