Saturday and Sunday — weekend memes joke about these two great days that come at the very end of each week. Sometimes they are hysterically funny, while other times — super relatable. When that feeling of two free days comes up on Friday, we react differently, as Monday is just around the corner. For this reason, the weekend meme has a lot of space to work with. While the focus is usually given to Saturday and Sunday, the funniest memes usually involve the start and end of the weekend, a.k.a Friday and Monday.
In every office building in the world, somebody always has a case of the Mondays. The Monday meme strikes that middle ground of being super sad with a hint of relatable comedy: a feat even the most hilarious meme hardly accomplishes. Usually, they touch upon the fact that we all awaken tired and unmotivated on Monday and have to push through it till the next weekend comes again. However, on the other side of the spectrum, we have the classic Friday meme. They are always enthusiastic, reminding us that the best part of the week is coming — Saturday and Sunday. These types of memes usually ooze in positivity. For the people looking for the middle ground, some memes put these two — pessimism and optimism — together.
If Monday and Friday's jokes are not your cup of tea, there is also the 3-day weekend meme that you can enjoy. We have compiled a list of funny memes that touch upon the topic of the weekend (not the singer). Since some of these relatable memes hit closer at home, be sure to upvote the ones you like. THIS!!! But, then again that's any time the question is asked :D
Man this was true for me for years until I started menu planning...then ordering pizza. Anyone had a "fend for yourself" day growing up?
I posted this meme in response to a valentines day plans question in a Facebook group once and like 4 white older women were all like "aww" and "it's OK honey God loves you and so do we!" /facepalm
I wouldn’t move at all…let them bury me and then once they are half way done I will knock on the casket lid and say…can I at least get a book?
I don’t mind waking up when my body wants me to but my body can’t seem to decide if it needs less or more sleep
I sneeze because of the dust from the cleaning
Load More Replies...When I was a teen, my older brother and I washed dishes every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and my next oldest brother cooked almost every day. Every week we made sure the garbage was out. Every weekend, we cleaned house, and did laundry. As adults, every one of us knew how to take care of ourselves.
I hated that we cleaned every weekend until it was almost dark. So the MOST i got to play with my friends was until the lights came on outside, about an hour and a half later. I never got to get close to my friends and it makes me hate to clean now than I'm an adult cause I feel trapped and pressured. Plus, like one comment said, nothing was ever done "right" enough to be told I did a good job. Rough parenting.
I would just "clean" my room whenever this happened. My mom would tell us the night before, and I would destroy my room with my toys, so then when I showed my mom my clean room after an hour of "cleaning" it I would be done and get to do whatever I wanted
My teen - without a sigaret - every time I tell him to do something. Anything. Always. From bring your plate to the kitchen up to help with the firewood. Sometimes I think he's allergic to words like "do" and "work".
My mom always makes Saturday cleaning day. Like bruh I just wanna go outside or binge watch South Park no in between
All I can see are his man boobs. I can't stop staring at them. What's wrong with me?
And by "we" she really means us kids deep clean while she gets drunk with friends and then pass out and take a nap, but we still better clean while she sleeps but dont be too loud cause she will come out swinging and after all that call us kids worthless and tell us we dont do anything right because we didnt take the toilet apart to clean it
Thats me right now, down to the age, if youre wondering why im here instead of cleaning its a break.... i gotta go soon :(((
He can send it as early as he likes. I'm not checking my email until 9:00 am.
Didn't they ban homework somewhere? Also love when the teachers would wait until the bell rang and "HOLD ON SIT BACK DOWN, I HAVE TO HAND OUT HOMEWORK"
But seriously tho, 1. Why is it true? Scientific explanation? 2. What on earth happened to the cookie?!
I just battle stress while work watches and eats popcorn on the weekends
I find Monday being the extra day even more fancier because of the way I imagine the days of the week to look like

Very few companies in the us are starting to do that. Most just want the corporate greed train to keep on chugging. And honestly? Most likely the forefathers' faults.

I propose a 10 day week. Day 1, Miracle day, as you need a miracle to get through it. Day 2 and 3 is Monday and Tuesday. Day 4 is Off day, as everyone need a break mid week Day 5-7 is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Day 8 is Rest day, as everyone enjoys a 3 day weekend Day 9 and 10 is Saturday and Sunday.
I had weekends off for maybe two years out of the last 40, and for about 13 years I worked overnights. But I do remember celebrating payday with a 12 pack of Stegmaier long necks, a bag of generic cheese curls, and the week's new comics
