The most satisfying part of any presentation is the diagrams. Since humans like to learn words through visuals, diagrams are the perfect tool to summarize someone’s findings in a simple, but dense and effective way.

Making diagrams is so fun that Venn diagrams have actually become a fun template for memes. People creating memes use Venn diagrams to show unexpected relations between people and things, pointing out how stupid some individuals can be or how unfair life can get. Imgur user ParallelParkingInABurka has been collecting these memes for a while now and shared their collection for everyone to appreciate this format, and we added even more of the best ones the internet could offer.

As a pastor's wife, I can confidently he does not ask for your money. He declined a raise from the church as he does not feel worthy of it. However, the money given to the church (tithe) is mean to be used to pay building costs, bills, and pay the pastors/staff. It's their livelihood. The 'preachers' that want your money are delusional and criminals. That's not the whole lot of them.

You might not have heard of the term Venn diagram, but you certainly have seen it. As Investopedia explains, "A Venn diagram is an illustration that uses circles to show the relationships among things or finite groups of things. Circles that overlap have a commonality while circles that do not overlap do not share those traits."

These kinds of diagrams "help to visually represent the similarities and differences between two concepts” and they have been used since the mid-20th century. Even though they became more widely spread during this period, they existed quite some time before that.

First of all the diagram became more known in the 1880s when English mathematician, logician and philosopher John Venn’s popularized it. That's actually where the name as we now know it comes from.

Even though the diagram was named after the person who popularized them, similar ones were created in the 1700s and they were known as Eulerian circles because it was the Swiss mathematician Leonard Euler who created them. And the confusion doesn’t stop there, because the name was changed by Clarence Lewis in 1918, in his book A Survey of Symbolic Logic.

Babies are also AHs. I have had three, and they stay that way until they're like 6 years old. People gripe about teenagers, but mine is great. I have to pester him about school work, but a kinder soul you will not meet. He is super helpful, and looks out for his sisters, plays with them, teaches them about horror games so they get nightmares and we get calls from the school asking what Poppy is (okay, that one needs work). I'm sure he is not representative of all teens, but when he was 5, he was definitely an AH. Perhaps his sisters will be terror teens. But for now, babies and toddlers are the AHs

OMG yes!! My two kids are 20 years apart and I don't remember my first one being such an AH! Have kids after 40, they say, it'll be so fun and rewarding.... THEY LIED!!! I apparently cannot stand the sound of toddler whining!! I have more patience but nowhere near enough energy!!! Little boys run on rocket fuel, I swear! My boy is 3 now, still won't sleep through the night, and is far more *extra* than any other child I've taken care of. I don't mean that in a bad way, he's just extra hyper and requires extra patience. Nobody believes me until they visit, and then they ask me "OMG how do you do it??" He's sweet, and cute as can be. But I can't wait for these years to pass, and have tons of mom guilt for not enjoying this time as much as I did 20 years ago with my daughter.

Venn diagrams are usually used in logic theory, but they've found their way into other fields such as statistics, linguistics, education, and computer sciences. They are also used in business and are a useful tool in comparisons.

And as is evident, they also caught the eye of meme creators as they've become a template to reflect on society or to compare incomparable concepts. They are some of the simplest diagrams and are self-explanatory, so that could have contributed to their popularity on the internet.

According to Know Your Meme, one of the first times the Venn diagram was used as a meme format was probably on the website Indexed on August 9th, 2006. It shows a three-way Venn diagram with overlapping circles. The circles are named Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and Tooth Fairy. The thing they have in common, according to the creator of the meme, is religious doubt.

Lucidchart also mentions one of the earliest examples of Venn diagram memes. They share one from a 2008 post on the blog I’d Rather Be Writing. It showed one circle which was called ‘what you’d write to only yourself’ and the other one called ‘what you’d write to the entire world.’ The two circles overlapped and what both of the things had in common was that they both belonged on a blog.

1860ish, we had the civil war. South states wanted to secede from the Us and be its own country. A lot of this was so that rich southern land owners could own slaves. North didn't want that, so the states fought, and the north won. Lincoln, everybody's favorite president was unalived, and Johnson took over. Different party, different ideas. After the war, Congress wanted to help rebuild the south, which had largely gotten destroyed. They also wanted to create laws to help protect the former-slaves-now-citizens, who were getting shat on. Johnson kept vetoing all this, and eventually he was impeached for 'criminality'. Lincoln was also probably a pretty hard act to follow. That's my take on it, anyway. I'm a history nerd, not an expert. Maybe someone else knows more about it than I do

Please gods no, everything that's done in the states ends up here in Canada like some fücking plague. Half the conservative party is now part of the Agolf Twittler Kult, our health care system is actually falling apart, most Canadians in Ontario (most populated provice) don't have doctors or access to them without insane long waits at best. Tim Hortons is no longer Canadian but Brazilian/American owned and the coffee got changed. The USA flat out needs to unplug from all media and focus on themselves. Like holy fück...

In a representative democracy popular vote is not worth jack, so i honestly do not know why people even mention it, and Trump will probably win again if he is running against Joe Biden whether or not we like it.

Ah yes, elitists who think the only good show is Arrested Development because if it doesn't have audience laughs then that means it's a v v clever show. I like Big Bang, Mayim Bialik is great, she's a neuroscientist IRL so I really doubt the humor of her character is 'dumb'. I was watching an interview with her today and she is great in that show. Yeah some of the situations are contrived and I don't really care for some of the stereotypes, like the whole 'Penny is dumb' thing, and the Leonard and Penny romance, but they improve on that in the later seasons. It's not the best show ever, but there are funny parts. People acting as if the nerd humor is awful/atrocious and written by non-nerds-- lots of nerds were involved in the writing, they had consultants for the physics too. There's a reason there is many cameos by top scientists, including Stephen Hawking. I guess he was a 'dumb person' then.

I love arrested development, but I can promise you I don't have an elitist bone in my body. I love Jason Bateman, I watched Silver Spoons when I was a kid. And I really, really love Will Arnett, I fell in love with him when he was on 30 Rock. I like Big Bang Theory also but, I've only seen a few episodes because I haven't had cable for 10 years.

Hey! You will thrive in college. You're going to feel awkward and stressed. That will last the first year. By year two you're going to have new friends for life. By year three you will feel knowledgeable and empowered, and like you are worthy. You will feel that way because you are worthy. Year four you're going to feel a bit entitled. Don't let that overwhelm you, or you will have a year five. Have fun, study hard, make yourself proud.

This tea vs coffee argument is pointless. I love coffee. I love tea. Some people don't like either. Everyone has their preferences. This is like arguing between blue or green. It's a matter of taste and opinion. Why not spend brain power arguing about objective reality. Like how our football is clearly superior to their football!
