I have a strong dislike for acronyms. When I worked for a pension provider, company meetings were a nightmare with so many being used in presentations. It annoyed me that the speaker was assuming everyone knew what they meant. I often had no clue what they were talking about, as I'm sure a lot of others felt the same. Being 60 at the time I just kept interrupting to ask what they were saying, otherwise there was no point me being there. They soon stopped.
