I feel the same about these appeal shows that they have on TV. Furthermore, and this bit is horrible but it needs telling, a poor elderly lady killed herself in the UK a couple of years ago because she couldn't afford to give to every appeal directed her way. Every penny she had was sunk into charity appeals and when the money ran out she felt so bad that she had to end her life. Literally killed by kindness.

Wow, what a woman! Not once was she mentioned in the news in my country during reporting about that school tragedy.

At this point in time I have yelled at the TV. Save the kids you have guns and vests on. I yell because I would be crying otherwise. The officer in charge and the policemen who obeyed him should be fired. I need to stop now, or I will start using words like cowards, stupid idiots, you should have run towards the shots. I offer my sympathy to the parents and the town of Uvaide. You paid for protection and got dead children and teachers.

Yeah. I watched the hour and a half long video of nobody doing anything at all. It was infuriating. Normally, parents shouldn't go into an unsafe situation like that, because normally, the police would be clearing the building and the parent might get shot. But there were like 70 officers there from local police, sheriff, Texas rangers, and border patrol and they sat there for over an hour milling around doing nothing with all the kids and the shooter still in the building. There wasn't any awareness of the fact a bunch of children and two adults had already been shot and needed medical care. It was appalling for s number of reasons and a whole lot of people need to be in trouble.

It's the video that is breaking my heart again, watching those cops in their gear milling around in the hallways while listening to the children's screams. How could they???????
