I once heard this story delivered as a church sermon. The vicer went on to say he had read it on line with the moral - god helps those who help themselves. But he thought a better moral was - God sends help through his angels, and if you are going through something then yes, pray, but get help from people because God works through them. And to remember, we are all called on to be someone elses angels everyday. I like this idea.

And properly condemn, and excomunicate members who get caught molesting other people. In the church, molesting people just lands you a promotion.

I'm Christian and fully support churches paying taxes. That would end a LOT of the religious scams out there.

Okay, I love AOC, but there are two things to consider. 1) the Barbara Streisand effect. AOC is bringing this lady WAY more attention than a New York Post article ever could, nobody reads the Post. 2) It's possible that this lady wanted the article to be printed to either draw attention to her only fans site, her need to have an only fans site, or both.

I worked in Vitamins and Supplements department of a grocery store for 2.5 years during the pandemic. The number of customers who asked me which essential oils would prevent/cure Covid.. ::facepalms:: and/or the ones who told me they didn’t need to get vaccinated because they took vitamin C and zinc and that prevents you from catching the virus. And/or the customers who asked where the ivermectin was…

Agreed. Personally I think the only thing essential oils are useful for is to make things smell nice. That's it.

What's funny is a lot of these people would call that witchcraft and not trust it either.

I believe in science and crystals congruently. As a matter of fact, the most socially and environmentally aware of all my friends are on the same page. They serve two entirely different purposes in my mind, but link to the idea that we’re all a part of a whole working together, as opposed to this hierarchy of importance Christianity has created.
